28th Kiss

"Who did you get?" Aries asked me. We were going to have a Christmas party here at the hospital. It's not a big celebration, just within our department.

"Oh! I got Ian, the new guy here," I told him.

"And you?" I asked. His face suddenly turned sour.

"I got Chito," he said.

"Hey, aren't you two reconciled yet, Aries?" I said to him.

"I haven't forgiven him yet for what he did to Vicky. Even though I'm gay, I love you guys, my friends! You and my mom are the only women I'll ever love," he said seriously. I stared at him and couldn't help but smile. It seemed like he noticed, so he raised an eyebrow. "What?"

"It's nothing," I said, pretending to be on the verge of tears. "What you said was touching. I didn't expect to be important to you."

He suddenly flicked my forehead. I quickly rubbed it and gave him a glare.

"Tsk! you're wrong. I just saying all of that because I wanted you to treat me to dinner," he said to me.
