Chapter(10) Darkness nights
I was standing beside the window staring at the view and there was a man behind me talking about a lot of things that I didn't understand but I knew that he was enjoying the conversation I was happily looking at the beautiful sky and the people roaming around doing their daily task I Caught sight of a man standing behind a tree gazing at me his features not visible enough I turned to ask the man about that weird guy but there was no one in the room with me I stunned so I return my gaze towards that weird man behind the tree and he's nowhere to be found...
I opened my eyes and I felt like I'd been beaten my body it's hurt I tried to sit down slowly then I heard from the corner of the room
" stupid very stupid... You could kill yourself!!"
There was a mockery tone but the man was very upset
I massage my temple " I'm tired why is that?"
He stands and walks toward me he is definitely scarier than Ian then he pulls my wrist.
"HAY!!... What's wrong with you is hurt "
With that deep voice, "This is the consequence of using dark magic"
I followed his stare and found some black marks on my wrist it was like a circle with strange lines glowing with black shadows!!
" THAT FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE!!!"
He stares at me without a response
"Can I remove it?"
"No" he still looking at me I feel uncomfortable
"WHAT??"
He started"?!!"
"Say it!! What do you want to ask?"
"A-Are you really Alana?"
"How did you know!"
He panicked and avoided my eyes" I actually was stunned when I saw you a week ago...
I interrupt him "Week!! I was unconscious for an entire week??"
He sits down on the floor beside the bed and nods his head he looks extremely beautiful and cold but he is kind of obedient
"And what happened this whole week?"
"Right... I was very nervous curious and unpatient
So I used some magic on you I'm really sorry "
He is a weird one I was very confused "What did you do?"
"Ahh... That I look a little bit at your memory just a little bit I swear to God that I didn't see your personal ones"
I was shocked and I leaned toward him "Liar. You saw it Tell me quickly what you see"
He startled and started to avoid my stares again and leaned backward
"It's for the best if you didn't know "
With a pleading scream "Then why?"
He scrubs the back of his head "Because I smelled Kayden's mana from you at first, I thought you were one of his women some of his mana remains in you"
He was embarrassed his ears turned red "Ahem... But when I touched you I felt a big amount of Kayden's mana and it was huge so I did what I did "
"O-okay... Fair enough, did you see Kayden's deat...
He interrupts me and stands up "It doesn't matter ... How about we stop talking about him it's in the past so leave it there "
The sadness was written on his face he was for sure still in pain I looked at my lap "Thank you for taking care of me the past week I think you already figured out what I want from you "
" answers... Solution "
I nod my head to him
" I'm sorry I can't help you with this you're the only one who could find them"
I got disappointed so after all my efforts it's gone in vain what should I do I'm running out of options
"Miss Alana... you came to the right person I can help you with one thing... Controlling Magic!! I'll teach you how to use it "
I smiled at him "Then I'll be in your care"

The next morning I woke up we both slept in the same room it's kind of a cave room he slept on the ground and gave me his bed When I pulled the cover he wasn't there I stood rubbing my eyes and looking at his stuff some weird objects and heavy dirty books, why is this place so dusty?! Suddenly there's a noise and the door is flat open and here he is walking holding a box fall off a lot of items
"You wake up I hope it's not because of my noises " I didn't see his face properly so I rushed to him taking some stuff away from him
"Good morning to you too... Hand me some of it "I took a paper bag full of bread (it smelled so yummy)
He chuckled and when I looked at him he stopped and stared back (OMG he is so beautiful... Stop Alana ) I was wondering why he was aloof around me at the same time
remarkably friendly
"That's our breakfast it's very delicious The old woman in the village is incredibly skillful " he moves and puts the other stuff on the ground he kneels and I kneel beside him he is stunned by my action and stares at me he gestures to me to sit at a small couch I looked at the dirty couch and shake my head
" NO!! I'm not sitting on it We will clean it later after I see what you got "
"Oh...Suit yourself " he opens the box and I grab a warm bread and start to eat it my eyes sparkle
" dhat is bery dlecuse ( that is very delicious )"
" I know I already told you"
FU** If you don't have that pretty face I'm sure I'll scratch it for you
He grabs some clothes and a wooden sword and hands it to me "This is some change and a sword to train "
"A sword?!! For what "
He narrowed his eyes "You didn't think that I'd just teach you magic, did you?"
I avoid his gaze and stand up carrying a lot of stuff and putting it on the bed I hold up the outfit
"Wow finally pants I start to hate dresses "
"I thought all girls prefer dresses"
He talked close to my ear I felt his warm breath I suddenly jumped from my spot and rubbed my ear( what a seductive voice ) I shouted at him
" When did you get up? I didn't sense you."
He left his hand in defeat "Sorry I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable... You can change and we can go and start the training it's already late" he took the paper bag and started to eat
I stare at him shocked and with a mocking tone "And do you prefer me to undress normally or should I put on some show "
He choked and started to cough "COUGH...COUGH..."
I felt sorry for him I walked toward him but he stopped me by raising his hand to me "It's ok I'm fine " I noticed his blushed ears and the awkward movement he headed out and closed the door behind him He talked behind the door " there's a tub I filled it with water you can take a bath "
He's so cute I was really amused by his cute actions it looks like he's still young I took a bath and I wore the outfit it's a little baggy so I tightened the pants up with the belt to prevent them from falling when I open the door he was waiting for me crouched in the floor he quickly jumps to stand up on his feet he startled me for a moment he is quite childish but I'm comfortable to be around him
He snaps at my face " Hey... Shall we go?" I nod to him
I followed him beyond the room it was a normal cave cold and scary We walked until we exited the cave he then turned to face me "Did you memorize the path?"
"What?!! Should I?"
He signed "Lesson number one you always should "
"Sorry I didn't know we already starting"
"It's common sense in this war you should always be prepared because the best protector of you is yourself "
He said that and walked ahead of me for a minute he made me speechless he was right no one could save me except myself then I noticed the beautiful view behind him I walked to the edge of the cliff in amazement
"Waaaah... It's beautiful " I smiled at him "You're lucky to wake up at this view, every day "
He stares into my eyes "You got a beautiful smile "
I was shocked by his compliment I didn't know what to say "T-thank...you...I guess " I felt embarrassed by his frankness

We started to train every day for 6 months he was thoughtful and patient even when I sometimes became over the top he was always easy to deal with he handled my anger and frustration very well I became very good and since I have some of Kayden's memories, some of the spells it's already graved in my mind so that the reason I developed quicker than the others
One day after the training I sat down caching my breaths he sat in front of me "Good job you really did great "
Living together in the same room we talked a lot he told me about him and Kayden and how they met and how much he spoke about me and about the bad relationship between him and his father and a lot of things he became warmer than before and dropped his guard around me and we became closer that makes me happy finally I found a friend in this lonely world who care about me as me
"So what are you cooking this time ?" he said excitedly
I smiled at him "Whatever you crave "
" Seriously... How about fried rice It's very delicious "
"Ok... " suddenly we both sensed someone watching us we have our guard up and there is something very fast charging toward Ryo I was stunned by the speed and Ryo skillfully Dodge him and there is a lightning fight I was frozen for a moment but I pulled myself up and start to charge at the attacker and because he was very tall and muscular he blocked my blows easily I knew with my tiny body I couldn't defeat him with strength Ryo at the moment was attacking smartly he looked like dancing not fighting I focused on that giant and started to use my hidden skills Ryo taught me strength it's not always the principal to win a fight and everybody got their own tailored outfit perfect for them and in a field fall of men the strength is the last thing I should depend on so my best friend is 3 things first is speed since I'm very light second cunning I should take them by surprise and the special ability is the portals no one can do the speed portals opening one is already exhausting but a multiple!! It was one of Kayden's specialties, Everybody was afraid of him because you don't know where the blow will come from, and here I am I mastered it I started to attack him and he was stunned he suddenly kneeled to Ryo I saw an opening but Ryo stopped me in time he holds me in his arms I was heated by the moment I didn't feel my reaction when my senses come back I noticed I struggle to get out from his grip I didn't know how strong he is until now he never looked as the strong type but he is a man after all when my adrenaline went down I calmed and stopped moving I turned my head to face him he loosens his grips around me
"Finally you calm down " he pats my head "It's definitely the rush of the adrenaline just breathe " his word was soothing and made me completely calmed
"Why did you stop me ?"
He looks at the kneeling man still in his position bowing his head "This man is one of the imperial knights"
"Why did he attack us then?!!"
He laughed "he didn't attack us he just attacked me"
