THE CONTRACT

A worried comrades, those are the kind of people that Haruto saw when he woke up after defeating the Black Dragon.

It was the first time that someone was worried for him so he can't help it but be happy.

After he woke up a huge crowd was waiting for him outside.

With Akari, Leafa and Aila they went outside to check out what is going on.

When they went out, the townspeople were saying just how grateful they are to Haruto for defeating the Black Dragon.

The the girl he saved back then appeared in front of him, thank him and give him a gift to thank him enough for saving her.

At first Haruto declined to accept the gift but the girl insisted and Haruto don't have any choice but to accept it.

The girl's father forged weapons so she asked her father to forged a weapon using the Black Dragon's scale and fangs.

When it was finished, it turned out to be a pair of daggers and a katana, the daggers were sharp as the dragon's fangs, and the katana were as black as the Dragon's scale, as hard as a diamond and so light like a cotton.

And the townspeople give him the hardest armor they can find in the town but Haruto declined the offer, he prefer a leather armor than a metal one so that he can fight comfortably, so they give him a leather armor.

Haruto thanked the townspeople and wear the leather armor and weapons, then Haruto draw his katana, as soon as he draw his katana, his armor turned black and his eyes turned red, and suddenly his name appeared in the katana.

And then suddenly the Black Dragon called him.

"Kid, you're strong, that's why I decided to stay with you and give my power to you"

Haruto was so shocked, that he can see the Black Dragon.

"Wait, you can talk! am I dreaming again?, wait I was just in front of a huge crowd and then... wait what's going on?"

"You're in your subconscious right now, you're not dreaming."

"Subconscious? then why am I seeing a dead dragon?"

"I might be dead, but you know, seeing how powerful you are, I used all of my remaining power to form a contract with you, the condition is if you wield a weapon that's been forged using my body, you'll have all of my power."

"So that's why the time I draw the katana I feel an overwhelming power flowing into me."

"From now on I'll stay by your side and guide you, whenever you want something, just ask me, I might be able to help you."

"I don't get it, why are you going so far for me even though I'm the one who killed you?"

"It's his order afterall, I can't disobey his order and this will be necessary."
