An expedition.

It's been quite a bit of time till I went to explore the terrain, I'm thinking about it for quite a while now.

While the system doesn't provide me with the minimap, nothing is better than doing it myself, right?

Is what I initially thought, But why am I trapped!?

I was over confident and didn't invite the expedition team I previously used to work with and tried to explore it alone.

I was infront of the gates to the dungeon, It was all normal when I walked inside and explored a bit of the dungeon.

"Am I really going to do this alone? Should I call in Veronica for backup?" Is what I started thinking as soon as entering the dungeon.

"Is this the right way? I don't want to look at the mini map as long as I can.

I picked up a piece of wood from my inventory that I got by breaking thousands of trees fighting Alancer.

"Hiya!" Fire balls formed on my hands, I lighted a fire on the piece of wood.

"I could just use fire magic and walk forward, but my mana is limited since the level up was temporary, and I'm not sure what I'm gonna encounter." Said I; walking forward with the wood lighted on fire.

The dungeon theme was that like of a cave, rather than that of a forest from the previous expedition.

"I can't wait to clear this dungeon and reap the rewards all for myself!" I was excited, and stupid as well, that I thought that I'm super strong.

I encounted Medusa, The real Medusa from the earth's legends.

The previous Medusa was but a mere facade.

As soon as I met her, she locked eyes with me.

My petrification began, My Armor started resisting the petrification, but it was all useless.

It was an unexplored dungeon, Probably S rank.

And now I'm completely made of stone...

How do I even call others at this point!?

A book at the Inn, In Yin's room started glowing for no reason.

Yin was confused more than he was surprised.

He called out to the other team members, They arrived quicker than they expected.

Veronica was the oldest there, And as the senior, it was her duty to take care of her juniors.

"I'm going to open this, stand back if possible!"

"Is it important to do this in my room? What if it is an explosion..?" Asked Yin, Veronica did hear what he was saying, but she pretended to ignore it, because she knew what it was.

She opens the book, Letters started appearing on the empty pages.

It said.. "Your master is in trouble, Distance:5000 meters

Save him within a day or all of you die."

"What the hell is wrong with this now!? What does it matter if he died? Why do we have to die in his stead!?" Asked the others, Veronica was shocked more than confused, because of his inability.

"No... This can't be! It must be a mistake, Yeah! It's a glitch in the game's system! No way such a strong person can be tackled on so easily." Veronica refused to believe that it was real.

"Whatever it is, We need to start moving, What if he is in trouble for real?" Said Yuna.

"Yeah, You're right, instead of discussing right now, let us talk on the way."

"But which direction do we go?" Questioned Usagi.

"I don't know, Let us each go 1 meter each, Whoever notices a change, We go to that direction." Replied Sherry.

"Acceptable." Stated Veronica.

They soon packed up necessary belongings and began moving.

The dungeon I was trapped inside, was in the north direction from the Inn, The mountain I was standing on top of, last night, yeah that's right, the dungeon is a trap formation that I accidentally discovered.

"Save me quickly! I can't even move my body anymore! Standing like I'm a joker, That Medusa woman keeps laughing at me."

She was laughing at my inability and that I dared to come here alone.

They soon reached the exact location of the mountain, It took them half a day because of Veronica's mobility abilities.

"Distance: 1 meter."

"It says he is 1 meter away from us, but where is he?" Wondered Sherry.

"That is confusing, what do I do?"

It was 1 meter, it was easy for me communicate with them, I heard their voice right above me, They were above the boss room.

I could easily communicate with them using the 'Whisper' option from the System, But the problem was the Snake woman, She had a high detection skill, she can sense motion, even a little bit.

"Ah fuck, Nothing I can do except try now."

I tried communicating with them, and surprisingly, I actually managed to establish a connection with Veronica.

"Oi, Girl, I'm down here, break down the boulder you're standing on, you're right on top of the boss room, tell the others to not let their guard down, since it's got a detection and petrification skill. I will tell you later through my main body, Over and out."

"Got it, Boss."

"Miss Veronica, Why are you talking to yourself now?"

"I was talking to the boss, Sherry you're a mage right? Cast a conceal spell on all of us, you should stay above to seek help, Because that dungeon monster is the Infamous Medusa."

"Medusa!? That woman from the legends? That same Medusa who can turn people to stone by direct eye contact?"

"Yeah, Avoid direct eye contact, Boss accidentally looked at her face as she usually disguises herself as her previous appearance before being cursed."

"That won't matter, I'm going to cast a buff on you guys that reduces the Aggro you produce."

"Let us go!"

Veronica starts floating, She manipulates the humidity around them and converts them into a fire ball by lighting a small amount of fire with her magic.

"LAUNCH!"

The cave explodes afterwards.

"Mission Saving Boss! Let's go!" Said Yin as they jump down.
