Making Money

Daniel realised that the hall was about to collapse. He quickly ran to the exit of the hall with Lumi on his shoulder.

The walls started breaking down and Daniel felt that he couldn't make it in time.

"Shit! I am done for!" Just as he was losing hope, Lumi started singing a melodious song.

"Ooo!! This is a broken skill!" Daniel's speed went from normal to super fast in an instant.

He felt light as a feather. He could easily make it to the exit in time.

In just a few seconds, he left the large hall and soon, the hall collapsed on the ground.

"Oof! I survived, thanks to you Lumi!" Daniel caressed Lumi's soft fur.

"Nya~!" Lumi's relationship with Daniel got even stronger after surviving a boss raid with each other.

Daniel soon left the dungeon with Lumi comfortably sitting on his left shoulder.

"Alright! Let's head back to the city now." Daniel rushed back to the city, wearing his black mask once again.

"Oh well, I guess I can even kill the bandits now, but I should still wear this mask for a while." He felt that he could easily crush the bandits with his new power.

After a while, Daniel arrived at the city.

As always, the streets were crowded. The merchants were selling different stuff and other NPCs were doing their daily jobs.

"We've arrived." He walked over to a merchant shop.

He had to sell some stuff to make some money first before going for the next hunt.

"Hello there, how may I help you today?" The merchant politely asked Daniel.

"I am here to sell some materials I gained from the Orc Champion Raid, do you think you can offer a fair price?" Daniel wanted to make a fair deal, else he could always go somewhere else.

"Sure sure! Orc champion materials are expensive! I will surely offer you a more than fair price!" The merchant's eyes shone as soon as he heard about the Orc Champion materials.

"Okay then, here are the items." Daniel put the Champion's Mace, Champion orc belt, and the 2 Champion earrings on the table.

The merchant was shocked upong seeing such fine materials. He had decided that he would buy these materials at all costs.

"My offer is 12500 coins!" The merchant shouted in excitement.

"Looks like you don't want these... Alright then, Imma go somewhere else." Daniel knew that this was a fair price, but he wanted to get as much as possible from this deal.

"Uhh... No no, don't go away! I will offer more!" The merchant panicked upon seeing Daniel pick up his items from the table.

"How about 14000? I am offering such a good deal now, I can't go any further than this." The merchant tried to look calm but he was internally panicked.

"15000 or I'm going." Daniel again moved his hand forward to pick up the items from the table.

"No but... I can't go any further as I said." The merchant didn't know what to do now.

"Alright bye." Daniel waved his hand as he put the items back in his inventory.

"No! Don't leave, alright! I will give you 15000!" The merchant internally cried but he couldn't miss this deal.

"See? It was this simple." Daniel grinned and put the items back on the table.

He stretched his hand forward, waiting patiently for the merchant to hand him the money pouch.

'Augh! This bastard!' the merchant cursed inside his mind.

He hesitated but ended up handing the money pouch to Daniel.

"Thankyou! It was good to deal with you! I will come back next time!" Daniel grinned and went away.

'...' the merchant was left speechless.

He wasn't sure if it was a good thing or bad that Daniel was going to come back to his store.

Daniel arrived outside the inn where he had rented a room.

He entered the building and was greeted by a maid. "Welcome to the GreenTown inn!" The maid gently bowed in front of Daniel.

Daniel waved at her and straight up went to his room.

After getting inside his room, he told Lumi to come out of his coat.

"Nya!" Lumi jumped on the floor and made a cute sound.

"Time to check the items I got from the raid." Daniel was impatient. He wanted to open the chests up as fast as possible.

"Lumi, bless me with luck!" As soon as he took out both chests and the Armor, he commanded Lumi to cast a buff.

"Nyaa~!" Lumi nodded and activated the divine blessing of luck.

"Great job, Lumi! Now it's time to open the chests!" Daniel was amazed by the blessing of luck.

"Here I go!" He quickly opened the raid chest first.

"Please be something good!" He prayed as the chest opening animation started playing.

Daniel's eyes widened upon seeing the growth type Vampire Ring.

"This must be the first and the one and only growth type!" He understood the meaning of growth type equipments.

Although they didn't exist in Divine path up until now, but they did exist in all other popular MMORPGs.

"A growth type weapon is like a Huge Jackpot! An equipment which grows with its owner." A growth type equipment could limitelessly evolve to higher ranks if its owner got stronger.

Growth type items are bound to their owner and they are one of the rarest.

"It's all thanks to you, Lumi!" Daniel picked Lumi up into the air andstarted spinning round and round.

"Woohoo!!", He was too busy celebrating to check the stats of the ring.

After a minute, he realised that the luck buff would soon come to an end, so he had to make sure to open the other chest before that happens.

He gently put Lumi down and hurriedly opened the other chest.

"Oh well, I can sell this one for a high price.", he wasn't too sad on obtaining an Epic grade because it was the top tier Epic grade staff. And for the world, Epic grade was the highest grade.

"I can sell it privately on Divine Store." He knew that selling it openly would cause troubles so he could sell it on the biggest online Divine path items store.

"Ok, time to log out." He didn't have the time to check the Vampire Ring's stats so he left it for later.

His character started disappearing and Lumi also vaished into thin air.

Daniel opened the gaming capsule and left it.

There were many more gaming capsules in the large hall. Some people were chatting and some were inside the capsules.

It was a gaming house where one could rent gaming capsules and other games for a low price.

These types of facilities were made mostly for those who couldn't afford the costly gaming capsules of Divine Path.

Daniel walked to the reception and talked to the guy in charge.

"Here's the rent for today. I will be leaving now." He handed the money to the reception guy after chatting for a bit.

He was heading to home now since it was getting late. He took the bus and arrived at home after 10 minutes.

As soon as he entered the house, he couldn't hear any noise.

It was because he was an orphan. He didn't have someone whom he could consider a family member.

He took a shower and went to his bedroom. He quickly took out his phone and searched Divine Store on the browser.
