Fox Queen vs. Dark God’s Body
"Haaaaaaaa!"
The black creature, guardian of the forest of a thousand deaths, let out a fierce scream. It seemed like a command to attack as the black nine-tailed fox began to charge towards Julius. The fox was flung back upon hitting the darkness radiating from the young man's body. Some parts of the fox even disappeared as if absorbed by the surrounding darkness emanating from Julius's body.
The creature appeared utterly astonished by what unfolded before its eyes. It never anticipated Julius could repel the attack it launched. Not a single one of the black nine-tailed fox's assaults managed to touch the young man. Now, there were fewer foxes remaining, reduced by more than half.
"Haaaaaaaa!"
The black creature screamed once more. This time, the remaining black foxes suddenly transformed into black beams, which then merged back into the creature. Then, from the living creature's body emerged a darkness that enveloped it entirely, rendering it invisible.
Blaaaarrr!
Suddenly, there was an explosion. Shortly after, the black smoke slowly dissipated. Now, the black creature transformed into a gigantic nine-tailed black fox. The size of the nine-tailed fox was so immense that it exceeded the height of the trees in the forest. The power emanating from it was multiplied several times compared to its previous strength.
"It seems that creature is the legendary spiritual beast, the Queen of the Nine-Tailed Fox Demons. I will wait for the outcome of their battle. If possible, I will seize the opportunity to subdue the Queen of the Nine-Tailed Fox Demons. I will devour her heart to enhance my cultivation and increase it multiple times," murmured the man who continued to observe the battle between Julius and the Queen of the Nine-Tailed Fox Demons in the distance.
Meanwhile, the battle between Julius and the Queen of the Nine-Tailed Fox Demons resumed. This time, the battle was so intense that it surpassed any previous fights experienced by Julius. Even with his Dark God's Body, he still couldn't penetrate the defense possessed by the Queen of the Nine-Tailed Fox Demons. The attacks unleashed by the legendary spiritual beast caused quite a dilemma for Julius.
Blaaaaamm!
A clash of power occurred. An explosion, so powerful and intense, erupted at the site. Fortunately, before the clash of power occurred, Julius managed to teleport the Calista siblings into the storage dimension within the ring he once seized from the Starfall family. Otherwise, both would have perished in that place due to the tremendous explosion that generated incredibly powerful waves of destructive energy.
Julius and the Queen of the Nine-Tailed Fox Demons were both thrown back several spear lengths due to the clash of power. From this incident, it was evident that their powers were evenly matched. Despite Julius using the strength of the Dark God's Body, an embodiment of the black phoenix, fused with the soul of the God of Light within his body.
Similar to Julius, the Queen of the Nine-Tailed Fox Demons also couldn't fathom encountering an opponent with godlike powers. Previously, the young man had only attained the eighth level of heavenly rank. Of course, this level was still far below the perfected form and the heavenly deity spirit level nine.
Julius himself was unaware that the soul of the black phoenix had taken residence within his body. He merely felt and attempted techniques he had used when he once left his body, by touching the tattoo on his back and channeling power into that part of his body. Surprisingly, this action activated his Dark God's Body. Unfortunately, the young man hadn't mastered the technique well because he had never used that body before.
The battle continued, lasting quite a long time. Neither of them seemed to gain the upper hand or be at a disadvantage due to the opponent's power. Both remained evenly matched, fighting fiercely and posing equal danger to each other. All their signature techniques were employed, yet none succeeded in bringing down their respective opponents.
Julius then employed the Thunder God's Spear summoning technique. However, the spear remained far below the level of the body he currently wielded. Therefore, the spear didn't contribute much when he used it in his battle against the Queen of the Nine-Tailed Fox Demons.
This was because Julius still didn't know the secrets of the spear. If he knew that the divine thunder spear could channel the owner's energy and make them several times stronger, he could have used his current Dark God's Body to channel power into the spear, resulting in tremendous force.
Julius and the Queen of the Nine-Tailed Fox Demons then decided to engage in a power showdown. They both exerted their energies to their peak. Then, they attacked each other, colliding their energies in the air. Massive waves of energy clashed and overlapped in the air.
The two mighty energies continuously collided, each trying to outdo the other, causing extremely powerful energy waves. Trees around the area fell, the ground cracked, and some even lifted into the air before being thrown back down. The place became a complete mess due to the waves of energy emanating from their clashes. Meanwhile, they continued to overlap each other's strengths in the air.
As time passed, the aerial power struggle they engaged in created increasingly powerful waves and caused significant damage. This was because their energy channeling became greater over time. Something dangerous loomed over them if none of them gained the upper hand for an extended period. There was a high possibility that both would meet their demise due to the reversed energy waves.
"Now is the time for me to attack them both. They are trapped in an energy battle, making it easy for me to harm them," murmured the observing man.
The man dressed in all red then directed his power. Suddenly, his body emitted a crimson lightning force. He then performed a technique to summon a spiritual weapon seal. Suddenly, before him appeared a crimson lightning sword. He immediately grabbed it and darted towards the two powerful beings engaged in battle.
