I had said that New Chapters will be released on my YT channel first, right? Well... I am not doing it anymore. The reason is - To save more time as I don't have enough free time to make new videos. I had thought that I could do it but I guess I can't. (Everyone makes mistakes, don't they?)

This means Chapters will be released here faster than what it was supposed to be if I had decided to continue uploading in YT.

Instead of Novel Chapters, I will be uploading Game Devlog, Game Making Tutorials and new Novel Announcements there!

I am still new to this novel-writing thing. And I don't have enough free time. I just hope you guys to be patient with me as I continue to become better!

Above, the night sky unfolded its canvas, brushed with a palette of crimson and darkened hues, as if the heavens themselves held a hidden tale. The moon, a radiant crimson orb, spilled its luminescence, casting an ethereal glow that danced upon the textured clouds. It was a celestial masterpiece, a silent overture to the mysteries concealed within the scarlet-tinged night.

The sight evoked an eerie foreboding sensation that made the onlooker shudder. Anyone gazing upon the heavens would tremble in fear as if witnessing an omen of imminent death and destruction.

Under this sky, it floated a platform with a surface area of 285 square meters, its underside measuring 85 square meters and standing tall at 30 meters. Directly beneath it, another platform spanned 85 square meters on the surface, with a minuscule 2.5 square meters underside, standing at 13 meters in height. This last section hovered precisely 3 meters above the ocean, forming a delicate connection between the celestial and the earthly realms.

At the center of the platform, there exist two diamond-shaped patterns, seamlessly intertwining, creating a mesmerizing display of symmetry. One rests horizontally, while its counterpart aligns vertically, forming an intricate and harmonious design.

The colors that dance upon this celestial canvas are nothing short of a spectacle — a kaleidoscope of azure, golden, emerald, purple, white, and an array of countless other hues. The everchanging palette infuses the patterns with an ethereal glow, elevating their presence to that of a celestial masterpiece.

Above the center of these patterns hovers a sphere-like object, mirroring the kaleidoscope of colors from the intricate diamond shapes below. The sphere shares the same mesmerizing hues, contributing to the overall celestial ambiance of the platform.

Above the platform, a colossal black shadow materialized, poised to strike down a humanoid figure below—a character model generally used by people as a base to make the models for their projects. Unbeknownst to onlookers, This character model was possessed by Nexus in some sense in this digital ballet.

Responding to the imminent threat, Nexus seamlessly executed a nimble side-roll, merging the boundaries between controller and control in a seamless dance of reality and simulation.

ㅤ

Shifting its focus, the colossal shadow creature honed in on the turret guarding the core, recognizing it as a potential threat. Nexus however already foresaw this move. Swiftly, he armed himself with a cylindrical handle-like artifact adorned with intricate golden patterns against a pristine white surface. 

ㅤ

Gripping the artifact with one hand at the bottom and another at the top, Nexus, with A deft twist of the device unveiled its concealed power, activating it, unfurling a radiant golden energy like the lash of a whip. The crackling, luminous tether became a formidable weapon in Nexus's hands.

"No. you don't," Nexus spoke, seeing the creature's action.

ㅤ

Then in a calculated move, Nexus swung the whip with precision, targeting the giant creature's leg. The luminous tether wrapped around its limb, and with a forceful pull, Nexus brought the creature to its knees. The creature, now enraged, retaliated with a series of bursts of growls.

As the shadow creature's anger escalated, Nexus reveled in the escalating challenge. "That's right. Be more angry," he mused.

ㅤ

The shadow creature, quick as a phantom, decreased its size, aligning itself with Nexus, and dashed forward with incredible speed. Nexus attempted to block the onslaught, but despite his efforts, he took some hits, momentarily stunned.

Regaining his composure, Nexus scanned the surroundings for the elusive shadow creature. It seemed to have vanished into the shadows, leaving Nexus on edge. Then, a sudden realization struck him.

ㅤ

Equipping a pair of black boots-like artifacts, Nexus slammed his foot onto his own shadow. The shadow cracked, revealing the hidden creature within. The shadow creature emerged, distanced itself from Nexus, and stared at him with renewed fury.

ㅤ

While Nexus engaged in this intense one-on-one duel, the protective turret activated, surrounded by crackling electricity. A small orb formed at the front, gradually expanding. Keenly aware of the turret's status, Nexus continued to draw the creature's attention, ensuring it remained fixated on him.

A few moments later, the orb in front of the turret grew a little larger, its celestial energy pulsating with increasing power.

ㅤ

As the orb was expanding, Nexus found himself locked in a fierce struggle to keep the shadow creature at bay. Unyielding, the creature was surrounded by a set of 5 enigmatic black devices, each taking the form of an octahedra suspended in mid-air, forming an energy shield that confined it. Despite its furious attempts to escape, the creature remained trapped within the protective barrier.

Observing the creature's plight, Nexus spoke with a hint of assurance, "Just stay still there for a bit and let me do my job."

ㅤ

From his inventory window, Nexus retrieved a cylindrical artifact and a simple yet ominous-looking black sword. Fixing his gaze on the ensnared creature, Nexus with a deft twist of his hands activated the latent forces within the artifact, causing it to hum with energy. Then he propelled the now-energized artifact towards the looming shadow creature with precision and purpose. The creature howled in response, its fury evident.

"Don't worry. I promise it will hurt a lot," Nexus declared.

ㅤ

After a moment, the cylindrical artifact emitted a brilliant flash of light, a blend of white and golden hues. As the radiance subsided, the creature appeared disoriented, casting puzzled glances in every direction.

Seizing the opportunity, Nexus brandished his black sword and swiftly stabbed the creature, eliciting another agonized howl. In the aftermath, the creature released an overwhelming aura, shattering the five surrounding artifacts and pushing Nexus away.

"Now you're over," Nexus asserted, undeterred.

ㅤ

Utilizing his inventory, Nexus deployed a small bot onto the ground, issuing specific instructions. Extracting the crystal from the hilt of his sword, he handed it to the diminutive automaton, which scurried away from the battlefield.

ㅤ

Returning his focus to the shadow creature, Nexus re-engaged in the battle, deploying a myriad of skills and artifacts. The creature, undeterred, employed diverse tactics—altering its size, sacrificing speed for power, creating clones, and casting magic attacks. Yet, Nexus countered each maneuver with finesse, leveraging his creator's knowledge of the game.

In a climactic turn, the shadow creature unleashed a colossal beam-like attack. Nexus, employing a shield artifact, blocked the formidable assault, albeit at the cost of the shield's destruction.

"Oh no! I don't have any more defensive artifacts. If the shadow creature launches one more powerful attack, I might sustain heavy damage," Nexus thought, concern etching his expression.

ㅤ

A sudden realization struck him, and he glanced backward with a triumphant smile. "I won."

ㅤ

In the very next heartbeat of Nexus's contemplation, the shadow creature surged forward with supernatural swiftness, closing the distance between them in a blur of dark intensity.

ㅤ

Taking advantage of his speed buff, Nexus evaded the creature's next attack. Enraged and impulsive, the creature looked back at Nexus.

ㅤ

Seeing Nexus run away the shadow creature pursued Nexus thinking nothing about it due to its rage. The creature, oblivious to Nexus's strategic maneuver.

As Nexus's speed waned, the creature started closing the distance rapidly. However, just as it was about to close in, The creature noticed something to his left.

ㅤ

All this time while running with each passing moment, Nexus led the creature closer to the protective turret. As the two neared the climax of their chase, the turret, fully charged, emanated a powerful aura. The expanding orb at its front pulsed with energy, ready to unleash its celestial force.

In the pivotal moment, before the creature could react, the orb surged forward, colliding with the shadow creature in a burst of celestial energy. The creature convulsed, overwhelmed by the potent force.

ㅤ

With the echoes of the battle fading, Nexus stood triumphant amidst the tranquil aftermath. The platform, once a battlefield, now glowed softly with the remnants of celestial patterns, marking the end of the virtual ballet. Nexus, surrounded by serene hues, marveled at the convergence of the digital and the ethereal. The fight, a thrilling display of skill and strategy, had transformed the platform into a canvas reborn with the colors of serenity.

Sporting a grin, Nexus remarked, "Well, that was quite the thrill." As those words escaped his lips, the character representation of Nexus disintegrated in a spectacle reminiscent of sci-fi aesthetics.
