After entering the throne room, Suzuki didn't wait and asked Neo to meet with Alfa.
Neo readily agreed, and asked Alfa to open the portal, which manifested in front of everyone. Every time this happened, it made all the floor guardians exclaim in awe.
As both of them took a step inside the portal, something unexpected happened.
To Neo's surprise, when he stepped out of the portal, he found himself in a familiar body. He couldn't believe this was happening. Beside him, Suzuki was panicked. He couldn't understand what was going on.
But their surprise and shock weren't over. Another surprise awaited them. When Suzuki looked around, he found himself in a futuristic setting.
From the sofa to the lights, everything made him realize this was not the familiar world. As Suzuki panicked internally, he heard Neo's voice.
"Suzuki, don't panic. It will all make sense to you in a while."
Suzuki just stared at Neo. Seeing Neo's calm face, he knew that this had something to do with Neo.
Neo took him to a sofa and told him to sit down.
Although Suzuki looked angry, his skeletal face showed no expression.
"Suzuki, first, I want to say I didn't know this would happen. Second, this body was originally mine, which you somehow possessed. I don't even know how..."
Suddenly, Neo was cut short by Suzuki. "What are you trying to say? So now this body belongs to you? Are you kidding me? Then what about this body?"
Neo listened to the complaints but could understand. Suddenly gaining a skeleton body would panic anyone. When Suzuki blurted out all his frustration, Neo continued.
"Suzuki, I am going to ask you some questions, okay?"
Seeing Suzuki silent, Neo continued nonetheless.
"When you came to this world, were you playing a virtual game?"
At that moment, Suzuki felt like a hydrogen bomb had exploded in his ears. He looked at Neo with a shocked gaze.
"How... did... you know?" He managed to ask the question while stuttering.
"Just let me finish, Suzuki, then you can ask all the questions you have. Now, second question: Did you play the role of Momonga in that game?"
Like an automatic rifle, Neo fired all sorts of questions at Suzuki, leaving him numb. He didn't even know where to start with his questions.
"Now, let me tell you what happened to us."
"I think when you were transported, your original body was Momonga, but because of my interference, I lost my body, which you ended up possessing. As for me, I was stuck in your skeletal body."
Taking a deep breath, Neo sighed and said, "Now do you understand what's going on here?"
At that moment, Suzuki completely calmed down. He answered Neo, "So, the way we swapped bodies in the first place was the same this time, huh?"
Suzuki could only smile wryly. Who would've thought making a skeleton body for an avatar would come back to bite him.
Seeing him in a low mood, Neo suddenly tried to change the subject.
"Suzuki, are you interested in joining my alliance?"
Suzuki was bewildered by this question.
"What do you mean, alliance? What kind of alliance?"
Then Neo explained in detail. After non-stop explaining from Neo, Suzuki understood the whole matter.
"It's kind of interesting. Do you think you can bring me back to my real world someday?"
"Sorry, I can't promise that. There are an infinite number of parallel worlds out there, and identifying your world among them is nearly impossible. But I can promise to give you a better body, if you want."
Suzuki knew it was wishful thinking, but what's done is done. He couldn't cry about it for the rest of his life.
After thinking about it for a while, Suzuki accepted Neo's proposal.
After sending Suzuki to Nazarick and telling him to act like Neo in front of those guardians, Neo relaxed on the sofa. After many days, he felt better. All his emotions were coming back to him.
To get into his top form, Neo promptly went into the training room and started his virtual fight.
In the ethereal realm where realities converge, Neo faced his formidable adversary, Darkvoid. The air crackled with untamed energy as they stood at opposite ends of a vast, desolate plain. Darkvoid, cloaked in shadows that seemed to devour light, exuded an aura of darkness tinged with raw power equal to Neo's own.
Neo's eyes narrowed, a reflection of his unwavering determination, as he channeled the essence of the digital world around him. Streams of glowing code swirled around his form, merging seamlessly with his martial prowess and unmatched agility. With a swift motion, he unleashed a torrent of energy projectiles towards Darkvoid, each strike calculated to exploit any weakness in his opponent's defenses.
Darkvoid retaliated with a surge of pure darkness, tendrils of void energy lashing out like serpents seeking to ensnare Neo. The ground trembled beneath their clash, creating shockwaves that distorted the fabric of reality itself. Neo maneuvered with unparalleled grace, weaving through the chaotic onslaught with fluid movements that blurred the line between physical existence.
As the battle intensified, Neo tapped into the depths of his abilities, bending the rules of the virtual realm to his advantage. He manifested a barrier of light to shield himself from Darkvoid's relentless assault, buying precious moments to recalibrate his strategy. With a focused mind, he charged forward, his every motion a testament to his mastery over the virtual domain.
Darkvoid, sensing the shifting tide of battle, drew upon darker energies, amplifying his strength to a fever pitch. The sky above darkened ominously as he unleashed a cataclysmic wave of destruction, challenging Neo's resilience and resolve. Yet Neo remained steadfast, his resolve unshaken as he countered with a surge of pure energy, a beacon of light piercing through the encroaching darkness.
In a final, decisive exchange, Neo and Darkvoid clashed with titanic force, their energies colliding in a spectacular display of light and shadow. The ground trembled violently, echoes of their battle reverberating across the virtual landscape. With a decisive strike, Neo harnessed the entirety of his power, overwhelming Darkvoid's defenses and shattering the veil of darkness that enveloped them.
In the aftermath, as the echoes of their battle faded into thin air, Neo stood victorious amidst the fading remnants of Darkvoid's essence. With a solemn nod,
"It's perfect, it's time to breakthrough to the cluster realm," Neo thought aloud.
