"I shall take you to the infirmary where the injured soldiers are," Zera said

Lawrence and the group entered the castle wall, along the way they saw the houses made of stone and passed by the humans numbering in hundreds of thousands

He saw most of them were holding swords and spears while wearing metal armour

There are also different stalls selling different types of food and clothes

"Lawrence there are too many of them" Victoria said worriedly

"I didn't know that humans are this many" Aisha said with surprise all over her face

"Don't worry they are our friends" Lawrence said while patting Victoria's head

These f*ckers all look like trained soldiers, not like the ones I faced from The Light Kingdom. Their armours look tougher almost like the ones we used during my time as a human

Looks like it will be a tough fight for the other human kingdom so let's make it tougher and let them kill each other more.

Lawrence and the group continue to walk towards an opening inside the city

"We have arrived this is the infirmary," Zera said with a serious expression

"urgh! " Victoria and Karthala couldn't help but gag at the scenery in front of them

Tens of thousands of soldier are lying on the ground with different types of injuries, some are even losing some parts of their bodies

Blood is flowing everywhere and humans wearing bloody attire are running towards different directions carrying clothes that seem to be used as bandages.

"Lawrence..." Victoria and Karthala both hold Lawrence's left and right arms while Aisha looks at the soldiers with a serious expression

Damn, I should have brought more elves with me to let them all see the effects of war. I'll bring another batch of elves next time

"Lawrence, please start" Zera said with a sad expression

"Okay, then please take care of these three elves with me, make sure no one approaches them," Lawrence said with a serious expression. Zera nodded

"Elder Aisha, please look after the two" Lawrence said to Aisha, she nodded

Lawrence then used his healing energy. He's glowing golden

The soldiers, the injured ones, and the ones carrying bandages all looked at Lawrence with surprises on their faces

Some couldn't help by cry as they knew that a healer had come to save their family members or comrades

Everyone stopped to look at Lawrence while his body was covered by healing magic

Lawrence then starts to approach the soldiers and places his palm on a part of their body

You little sh*ts make sure to kill as many enemy soldiers as you can after being healed

He then started healing the gravely injured ones first

"I thank you, I have a family waiting for me to return," A crying soldier said after the hole in his stomach was closed down by Lawrence

Lawrence then walks towards a female soldier with an amputated arm

He grabbed the arm that was still in one piece, placed it where it belonged and used his healing on her

"Thank sir I'll repay you someday," the female soldier said while in tears

"Don't worry about it and continue to protect your kingdom" Lawrence said with a smile

Lawrence continues to heal all the soldiers until nighttime

Torches illuminated the plaza filled with soldiers who were smiling happily with tears running down their faces after being saved

After healing most of the gravely injured ones, Lawrence returned to where Aisha and the others are

"General Zera, I shall heal the other tomorrow as I need to rest first, but rest assured as I healed all the gravely injured once" Lawrence said with a smile

"Thank you for healing them my friend," Zera said with teary eyes "please come with me I have arranged a place for you to stay for the night," Zera said with a smile

"It's nothing General Zera, the other human kingdoms are also our enemy after all," Lawrence said with a smile

The group then walked towards a two-story stone house with 7 female soldiers standing out front, one of those soldiers is the one Lawrence healed and reattached her arm.

"Thank you for healing us, my name is Xena, and I will be in charge of guarding you while in this kingdom," the soldier said

Damn, there are not as beautiful as my elves but, they are beautiful. Should I do it with them tonight? No! Lawrence focus

"It's nothing, I'm here to help any way I can," Lawrence said with a smile

"let's enter," Zera said while nodding at the soldiers

They then entered the stone house. Inside it is a kitchen, chairs and tables made of wood. There are also three rooms with beds made of wood and pillows made of beast fur. The table is filled with fruits and meat

"my friend, rest well here tonight and Her Majesty the Queen will meet you tomorrow" Zera said with a smile

"thank you, General Zera I am looking forward to meeting Her Majesty the Queen" Lawrence and the elves bow slightly

Sometime later Zera left while the 7 soldiers stood outside guarding the two-story house where Lawrence, Aisha, Victoria and Karthala are inside it

"Lawrence, we won't gonna go back tonight?" Victoria asked while eating the fruit the soldiers prepared for them

"We will go back tomorrow, I will meet their queen first and negotiate" Lawrence said with a smile

"Negotiate?" Aisha asked

"Yeah first we need an alliance with them since we have the same enemy, and we need gold, a lot of it," Lawrence said with a smile

"gold what is that Lawrence?" Karthala askes

"It's what humans use to buy food and other things like this house and clothes," Lawrence said with a smile

"what will you use it for Lawrence?" Aisha asked

"Are you planning on living here?" Karthala asked

"No, I will use it to buy humans, a lot of them" Lawrence said with a smile
