Back home it should have been the usual drill, but things started shifting. And I urm...might have been messing around where I shouldn't. (This might have been a very little bit my fault.) VOL 6 It's the week of Valentine's Day, but I've got a highschool play, Lorent drama, Vampire slaying training, and an underground army to deal with first. And then warlock weather threw an extended snowstorm at us. The whole of Green Packlands goes into lockdown - but what about Valentine's Day? VOL 7 Exams are a week away, and it feels like my time at Winderhill is really coming to a close. I'm trying to be a good student, but there are paparazzi camped outside my school, I ran with rogues (I'm shocked too), Maria just had to enter her dark cycle in school...My life is too exciting to study for exams. VOL 8 It's exam week, but I've got far greater problems brewing at home. The prophecies are merging. River's stone had unlocked warlock trouble, the rogue king has moved in, and then there's Uncle Louis' economical problems... one at a time. Just let me survive Code Black and figure out what's going on at Heller's first, and I'm sure everything else will work out somehow. VOL 9 Its the last week of school and the exams are over. Its like for better or worse, all the big bad things are over now. At home, My pack works to clean up the aftermath of the rogue war, the warlock's defeat, and Jude's betrayal. In school, everyone treats me more or less the same... like a freak. Meanwhile, our school play is in dire straights, and as the Last Hurrah's debut draws near, I get ready to say good bye to Winderhill for good. VOL 10 We follow Dad to the past to stop the traitor (AKA Jude), from ever stepping into our Packlands. It would've been a good plan too - if it didn't change EVERYTHING. Now, I can't help but feel my life is ruined. Nobody understands me. Is it selfish of me to wish none of this ever happened? Why does my world have to be so magical?

VOL 3 CHAP 145 REBEL'S POV [CON'T]

F you again,

I was interuppted for a standard health check and mind scan. In a f-ing bad mood now, but I shall continue relating my bizarre dream.

It's true what they say, the truth is stranger than fiction and my first meeting with my Princess' family proved just that.

This was still the most bizarre dream I had ever had, except now that I knew I was dream travelling, I became aware that this bizarre sequence of events was actually happening in real time.

"This is Bell." My princess introduced. And then she lied, "Killion's urm... brother."

My princess turned out to be a terrible liar after all. (It was extremely cute.)

"Yeah, my brother." Ki lied.

He was much less cute about it.

A young dark haired beta wolf spoke then, "He has golden eyes like your mate."

Another young beta, this one with red hair and slightly older - maybe around my age added, "Ki doesn't have a brother, Princess."

"My princess." I growled.

Ki quickly inserted his arm between us, "Ah, he's kind of possessive."

For the record, I was just saying.

But because my princess' soft hair was still waving at my face, I soothed it down. Indescribably satiny, beautiful tresses...

As I touched them, they melted like languid pools into the palm of my hand. Her hair. Mmmm... Like a personification of my princess, wild yet feminine, the loose curls like waves of the most expensive silken threads, but unwoven, unconstrued, artlessly beautiful. I could watch her forever.

F.

What soccery was this? That even her hair made me a f-ing poet?

The elder female wolf sighed, "Oh my."

"You two are supposed to be on my side!" My princess flared again at the two young betas, undoing all the grooming I had just done for her.

"We are." The younger one shrugged, "We're just making sure he doesn't get killed by your dad."

At that, my princess looked up as if just noticing the furious Alpha who had been glaring at me since he first clapped eyes on me.

So she was Alpha Kingsley's daughter.

As if on cue, Alpha Kingsley stalked over, growling. I squared up to him. If it were a fight he wanted, I wouldn't disappoint him.

"How old are you?" Alpha Kingsley asked.

"18." I answered.

"Why do you have no scent?" He asked and I realised I was being interogated. Was this to be one of those horror stories about being interogated by your mates overprotective father for hours? Well then, bring it!

"I'm traveling in a dream." The proof being the full moon outside when it should be a crescent.

How strange this phenomenon, but I was busy facing off a particularly powerful black alpha wolf in Alpha Kingsley and had not thought twice about it then.

And then Alpha Kingsley reached out his hand for a shake. I shook it quite by instinct.

"Nice to meet my daughter's mate." He said.

Wtf. Was that it?

"Nice to meet you too." I answered. I refused to let my surprise show. And then I remembered that Ki mentioned expecting rogues, keeping my expression completely unmoved, I said "I'm told you were expecting company."

This seemed to please Alpha Kingsley, his laughter boomed and he answered, "Yes, quite right, we are."

He patted me on the back, "We were just setting up the trap for them. Come, our guests are arriving soon, we should get to my Beta's house..."

My mind whirred at the implications of what Alpha Kingsley was saying. I must have misunderstood because it sounded like he knew rogues were coming, and has set a trap to welcome them right in his own home.

That's f-ing messed up. Probably more exciting than simply sending warriors out to the boarders to capture them, but still f-ed up.

It was well known that Alpha Kingsley was "eccentric". But this was crazy, they must know that rogues had a bad habit of blowing up or burning down homes they "visited" right?

"Have you met my mate? This is my Luna." Alpha Kingsley proceeded to introduce me to my princess' mother, a very kind looking lady, and then to a dark-haired, lean and powerful elder Beta, his own beta named Lucas.

Was our interogations postponed due to the more pressing rogue attack?

"I accept you as my daughter's mate." Alpha Kingsley announced, "But she is a still very young, I hope you understand to not cross the line until she reaches mating age."

His Luna added, "It's better to take things slow with her...she has led a sheltered life, so she is more naïve than other girls her age."

This was also while not entirely unexpected, somewhat surprising for me. I've heard parents in the Lorent Pack saying how pure and innocent their maiden daughters were, but only because they were clueless to what these girls did behind their backs.

For Alpha Kingsley and his Luna, they were not boasting about their daughter's purity nor did they seem clueless in the slightest. They actually sounded like they knew their daughter very well, and thus had genuine concern for our relationship - which they had accepted, bizarrely. They hardly knew me.

I nodded wordlessly.

So they accepted me as their daughter's mate. After meeting me for a full 5 minutes, and asking my age and nothing else.

They did not know my name or title, the pack I came from, or my rank in the pack. Or even what work I did, who my parents were, my estimated net worth, my future plans, or even the mating gift I could afford - nothing.

It was as if none of these things mattered to them. Bizarre.

"Yes. Best keep it PG!" Beta Lucas piped in. And both parents laughed.

I spoke then, my wolf spoke actually, "You don't have to tell me that. It is obvious that my mate is just a puppy. I will wait for a time when she is ready to bond fully with me. But puppy or not, she is mine and I will protect her with my life."

The adults paused and then they nodded.

If I had spoken to my old man like that, he would have taken offense. But Alpha Kingsley smiled, "Yes, son. Thank you. Now I feel assured."

"Oh my," said his Luna, "our Sam has a mate! And oh! Where are my manners? Would you like some tea?"

I shook my head and reminded them, "You are expecting rogues?"

For a home expecting rogues, they were rather relaxed about it.

"Better get to setting up!" Beta Lucas decided. Ki and the two younger betas immediately got busy.

The set up for the rogue trap was like everything else in my dream, bizarre.

They sealed all the windows and doors. I believe they actually WANT the rogues to enter their Alpha's house. They installed surveillance cameras to watch them... I helped Beta Lucas with that while he told me all kinds of bizarre stories of the adventures he had with Alpha Kingsley.

I used to think Ki and I were as bad as it gets, but those two... Those two were insane.

"It was just after the Great War, so these things happened." Beta Lucas said with a shrug.

No. These things did not happen. Not if you didn't ride motorbikes out to chase rogues or entered the warlock lands on your own or challenged an entire minor pack alone.

It was a miracle they were alive today.

"Those were the days." Alpha Kingsley said when he overheard one of the stories.

"The old glory days." Beta Lucas added, "Nowadays, we're just old dogs waiting to be retired."

So you guys set an impromptu rogue trap in your own home? They were really just as f-ing insane as before if you asked me.

I followed Beta Lucas to the living room to put up the last camera. My princess was seated on the sofa, her mouth in a perfect pout. F.

I did my best to not be distracted.

"Luna, Luna?" Beta Lucas looked at me.

Do I look like a f-ing Luna? Apparently.

"Yeah." I said, and helped him set the step ladder.

I decided to just go along with this bizarre dream - just to see where it goes.

I cast a glance at my beautiful princess, pouting like a doll on the sofa.

{So cute}

My wolf was like an embaressment when she was near. Nothing but an over indulgent useless s***head.

But I couldn't let my s***ty wolf get the upper hand, I had to keep up with the bizarre plan unfolding. Should anything happen, I had to protect my princess.

Because I couldn't quite say this enough - the entire set up was a f-ing disater waiting to happen.

"Twenty rogues, six in wolf form, four in vehicle, and the rest on foot." Beta Lucas announced the report.

"They would expect us to capture some of them." Alpha Kingsley said thoughtfully, "I suppose we shouldn't disappoint them. Give the order to cull them off just a bit."

"Gamma Harry, Jonah, and the other warriors are on standby at the pack house." Beta Lucas said, "I'll send out fringe patrol tonight to hunt a few down."

"Let's go." Alpha Kingsley said and we followed his lead into Beta Lucas' home under the cover of darkness. Beta Lucas' house was dark, except for the basement where there were several screens set up.

Two female wolves were waiting for us. They had set up what looked like a small tea party on low tables surrounded by colorful beanbags.

I understood how Alice in the Wonderland felt. This was the Mad Hatter's.

"Woah, another hottie. Sam is always picking up hotties nowadays." The younger female wolf said.

Always? What did she mean always?

I growled. Ki grabbed my arm to hold me down. My jaw clenched but I managed to nod a greeting.

The elder female wolf openly stared.

"I was supposed to test the new cameras from here." Beta Lucas explained the screens set up on one side of the basement, "I was setting up to test them this Sunday, but this is a good opportunity to test the surveillance system too."

He said nothing of the Mad Hatter colorful beanbag tea party on the other side of the room. Why? So a surveillance system at a rogue attack was new, but the tea party was expected?

I always thought the rumors about our next door pack's wild and crazy antics were gross exaggerations, but now... I was beginning to believe them.

Beta Lucas noticed belatedly his mate staring at me.

"He..." The older female wolf who was staring said at last, "He's not really here, is he?"

Oh, was that all?

"I'm dream travelling." I confirmed for her.

"I had never thought I would ever meet a wolf with dream travelling powers in my lifetime." The lady marveled.

Was this a test? I could not see what she was testing.

"I'm not." I answered.

"Then how?" She asked.

I looked at my beautiful princess. Was her amazing power a secret? I would have thought the goddess-like appearance would had given her away as one of the legendary dream travelling blue wolves.

The lady gasped, "Oh, of course! The blue wolf! I can't believe it! It was right here in front of me... I didn't expect it to be so literally blue...But then, that means you are..."

"Our Luna, yes." Ki was quite pleased to inform her.

"It's very nice to meet you, Luna. My name is Willow." The lady introduced herself with a warm smile, "I'm Lucas' mate. This is Lizzy, my daughter, and you must have already met Ben, my son. They're twins."

Once again the speed at which I was unquestionably accepted stunned me...as did the automatic acceptance that I was their Luna. In what way did I look like a f-ing Luna?

"My mate calls me Bell." I managed finally. If I had to be saddled with an effeminate name in this bizarre wonderland, I would rather be Bell than Luna.

"Lunabell." Killion grinned, "Such a pretty name."

That was pushing it. I growled then and struck Ki quite hard in the stomach. Ki crouched down in pain... Which was somewhat satisfying.

"Poor Ki. Don't provoke the Luna." The girl who first screamed patted Killion's head, much like how one might pet a family dog.

And Ki beamed, quite pleased with the attention. Wth had happened to him here?

"Our new Luna is really something." The red haired beta named Harvey said with a low whistled, then he turned and winked at me.

He was atm standing way too close to my princess. I growled and he quickly stepped away from my princess, so I knew we would get along.

My princess. Mine. For some reason, I'm reduced to such a pathetic state that it was all that mattered when she was near.

"I see them" Ben said from in front of the screens.

The camera on the back porch had caught sight of glowing eyes and some fur.

Rogues!

And then like all bizarre dreams tend to do, the rest of it literally exploded in our faces.

First the rogues broke in. Then they shot the empty beds, and then they exploded the entire house.

Unfortunately for them, they had been sealed in the house.

And in a bizarre turn of events, we went into the flaming house with dart guns to rescue them.

By now I had stopped trying to make sense of this bizarre dream, but the entire episode happened like this:

We watched on the screens as the rogues shot the lumpy beds and then panicked when they realized that they had been tricked. It felt a little like some like of reality TV prank.

Like I said, I've long stopped trying to make sense of what was happening.

And then the rogues suddenly calmed down and planted little box shaped objects into the beds they shot.

"What's that?" My princess wanted to know.

Ki shrugged, "I don't know... My family died at the gun shots."

He looked at me, as if I should know! I growled, "How would I know?"

"For someone who will inherit the family business, you really don't know anything, do you?" Ki mocked.

Wtf.

I growled back, "My family would never work with rogues."

The rogues started placing more of the mysterious boxes around the house.

"If you weren't my Luna..." Killion growled.

"You'd what?" I countered.

So I wasn't his alpha anymore? Wtf.

And suddenly KABOOM!

"Now I remember why we always killed the rogues at the border." Alpha Kingsley groaned. He pinched his brow with his hand.

Really? We were doing this because you didn't remember that rogues were dangerous?

As the explosions happened, the cameras would go off. The rogues made it to the kitchen, but they were sealed inside. Now they began to panic in earnest.

The Alpha's house was going up in flames. The rogues were trapped in the inferno. More screens went black from the heat and flames.

"Warriors to form perimeter. No escapees. Get fire department," Alpha Kingsley decided to take action then. He grabbed a dart gun, "Grab a gun and follow me."

Beta Lucas relayed the orders while grabbing a gun.

Ben grabbed a gun. Harvey grabbed a gun, Killion grabbed a gun, and to my f-ing chargrin, my princess grabbed a gun too. It was the last one.

Was everyone okay with that? Really?

I took the gun from her hands. My beautiful princess... running into the flames to hunt rogues. No. My wolf surfaced at the thought of her in that kind of danger.

"Mine!" She protested. What the F.

"No, mine." I told her firmly. She was mine. And I was going to f-ing keep her mine - and alive.

Her hair was flaring, I reached out by instinct and kissed the blue ribbon I caught. It was silky against my lips. Mmmm...

Oh F.

My princess' mother sighed. I pointedly ignored the sudden feeling of embaressment that threatened to flood my cheeks.

"I'll go. You stay." I told my princess in no uncertain terms.

"Let's go, Luna!" Ben shouted from the door.

I soothed my princess' hair back down. She was so... F-ing cute. Grrr... I left quickly before I could give it another thought.

The rest of it happened like a dream - mostly because it was. We ran back to the Alpha's house, the flames were three storeys tall. Ben led us up a tree by the side of the house, it let us up onto the second floor balcony and into the master bedroom.

I'm not going into the rest of it. It was just as senseless and bizarre as the rest of the dream. We risked our lives, to dartgun the rogues, and pull their unconcious bodies out to safety.

Yes. We f-ing did.

We let two dozen f-ing rogues into the packlands ON PURPOSE, tricked them into blowing up the Alpha's house because he "forgot why" they usually killed them along the borders, and then sent two alphas and four betas into the burning building to save their worthless hides.

Why? Wtf.

Alpha Kingsley was well known to be and eccentric genius. I was still waiting for the genius in this entire farce to show itself.

Wtf.

But we all survived it. Ki and I were white wolves so I expected that, but Alpha Kingsley and his betas survived just as well. Their wolves were incredibly strong. Even young Ben, whom I was sure had not shifted yet, had a fearsomely powerful wolf behind him and quite the steady shot.

I had always thought my Lorent pack was number one in all of the Green Packlands, but seeing them literally play with fire as if an everyday run in the woods made me doubt our ranking system.

Whatever this barbarian pack lacked in funds or grandeur or culture or whatever, they made up for in brute strength and guts.

We got back, all in one piece.

"She's sleeping." My princess' mother informed us.

"Did she give you any trouble?" Alpha Kingsley asked. His home was just trespassed and burnt down by rogues and he was more concerned about my princess' possible mischief at a beanbag tea party with the ladies?

F. It's just F-ed up here.

"No, she was as quiet as an angel." My princess' mother answered. And then she turned to me and smiled, "Having her mate around really calmed her."

"I totally understand the feeling." Alpha Kingsley started growling. His Luna turned back to him and purred.

I decided to give them space. If the clock on the bare wall was any indication of the real time, it was about time I woke up anyway.

I sat down on the side of the beanbag where my princess slept. She was curled up, her long hair splayed across the beanbag, her eyes closed and her lips so soft... F-ing cute. Like a sleeping baby doll.

I struggled to speak without growling, "Princess I'll be waking soon."

And then before I did anything more to embaress myself, I stood up and left.

"Bye Luna!" The Betas called out to me as I left. But the word Luna didn't sound effeminate anymore. It just sounded like how guys said bye to each other.

I didn't bother to look back, but I raised my hand to wave bye.

And then I woke up.

I stared at the ceiling of my darkened cell. For a moment disoriented. Was it just a bizarre dream? But my clothes...no longer the f-ing leathers. I actually had real clothes on - the clothes Ki had lent me.

And then the lights came on, illuminating my harsh reality that I've just woke up to.

Oh F. I'm going to be so F-ed.
