Chapter 21

I was extremely pissed, I've spent the past two weeks looking for the Kyubi but I still haven't been able to find him, and I've combed about 40 percent of the entire land of fire but still no luck. If I didn't know how arrogant the Kyubi was, I'd have said he was in hiding. it would have been easier though if I could just cover the entire Land of Fire using my sensory abilities but sadly I can't.

"I can't believe a 100 metre fox would be this hard to find, heck! he should even be above 100 metres."

And worse still I've been attacked constantly by the Senju and Uchiha clan members. Ok maybe I've been running into them deliberately but they could have just turned back and left, I wasn't forcing them to fight me after all. I usually sense them but I wasn't going to change my direction because of them.

Looking up to the shinobi standing in front of me, "Are you sure you want to fight me? I'm giving you the chance to just ignore you met me here," I said, angry because this particular shinobi was proving to be a nuisance.

"Hahaha!!! I should be the one telling you that, Hatake Indra," came the haughty reply from the shinobi. "I wonder why you changed your clan name and went into hiding. Oh well! it doesn't matter, now that I've found you, the only option for you is to give up your life."

"So be it!!"

I released my chakra, letting it augment every aspect of my body, giving me a massive power boost.

*Boom*

I appeared behind him with my left hand, coated with lightning chakra, imitating Kakashi's Raikiri. "You should have activated your mangekyo sharingan Izuna!" I said, before impaling his heart with my lightning-infused hand. Just as I was about to stab him, he moved slightly causing me to impale his right lung instead, missing his heart completely.

"Oh! you managed to react, colour me impressed. Perhaps you're better than I thought."

I took out my bloodied hand from his right lung, he fell to his knees already finding it hard to breathe. He tried to speak but only ended up coughing out blood. I squatted right in front of him, lifting him by his neck. "I told you to leave, didn't I?" I coldly said. "I had no interest in killing you, I still don't. But I'd leave you half dead, your survival would be up to luck."

I then absorbed almost his entire chakra, leaving just enough to keep him alive for a few hours, a day at most. If he gets discovered by someone before he dies then his luck, if he doesn't, oh well! there's nothing more I could have done for him. He should be glad I didn't finish him off.

'Hmm, Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan?' I thought, surprised at the difference between his chakra and other Uchiha's. The chakra I absorbed from him felt kind of familiar to the chakra my eyes released when I awakened my own EMS.

Taking another look at the now unconscious Izuna, I hissed in annoyance before creating a portal, leaving his body right where it was.

'This battle could have been longer if I'd actually given him a chance to fight back.'

Upon getting back to the dimension, I received a stink eye from Mito, "Still not happy with your stay here Mito-san?." Although she has come to accept that she isn't going anywhere, being happy about it is a different thing altogether.

"You always said you wanted to fight me again, how about I give you a chance then? we can do that now if you want."

"Are you being serious?" Mito replied, turning to face me. "Uhm! Indra-kun, why is there blood all over your hand?"

'Yes! now she uses the suffix 'kun' when referring to me, which is weird as I don't know why she does that but I don't mind anyways so it's fine.' Taking out the unnecessary thoughts from my mind, I gave my reply to her.

"Oh! sorry about that, I'd clean it before joining you in the training ground."

"Ok.." she replied, before leaving.

'Her behaviour is definitely different from the glimpses we saw in Naruto.'

*a Few Moments Later*

"You can attack me whenever you're ready Mito-san."

"Stop looking down on me Indra-kun, you caught me off guard the last time, and I was already tired too. I won't lose as badly as I did this time," she replied, somewhat heated.

She jumped back, then four golden chakra chains jut out of her back heading towards me. I stood watching as the chains completely wrapped around me.

"Can you take this seriously, Indra-kun," Mito said out of annoyance.

My left iris and pupil turn yellow, with a black wheel-like pattern with eight spokes coming out of the centre as I activated the Darmagan (Isshiki's Dojutsu). I shrunk myself before moving towards Mito, returning to my original size, I held her head from behind and slammed her face on the ground. "If I take this seriously, you'd end up dying in a few seconds," I said to her as she struggles to stand up.

'Explosive tags?!'

*Boom*

I jumped back immediately as the ground below me exploded, I looked at Mito and smiled. It was obviously her plan as she'd wrapped the Adamantine sealing chains around herself protecting her from the explosion she knowingly caused. 'Very sneaky!'

"I didn't see you use any explosive tags, so what was that?"

She just gave a cheeky smile in return.

I ran towards her, sending my right foot towards her face with just enough strength to slightly overpower her. She raised her hand to block the kick before tapping my outstretched leg with her other hand. The force of my foot sends her flying for a few metres.

I was wondering why she tapped me, immediately activated my Byakugan, looking at my right leg, I could see an external chakra building up, 'Oh shit!!!'

*Boom*

The seal she placed on my leg exploded destroying my trousers and slightly damaging my leg. 'Tch!' I hissed In annoyance, although a smile was slowly creeping up my face.

'Jikan Hanten' My eyes changed to the Mangekyo Sharingan, as time reverses on me by 5 seconds, returning my body back to how it was before the unfortunate explosion incident.

"What?... I saw your leg damaged just now, how did it immediately turn back with your clothes even undamaged ?" Mito asked with her mouth slightly open.

I gave a cheeky smile in return.

"Do you want to end here?" I asked her, considering she'd already sustained a lot of damage from my two attacks.

"No, I can still go on."

I attacked her again with Taijutsu, careful not to allow her to apply any seal on me again. She was able to defend but was slowly losing ground, receiving more hits as time went on. The three tomoe of the sharingan spun as I applied a genjutsu on her but it was futile as she was able to break out of it immediately.

She immediately jumped back, creating space between us. Weaving hand seals, 'Water Release: Wild Water Wave'. She spews water from her mouth, the water quickly forming into a raging wave heading towards me.

I activated 'SukunaHikona', shrinking the water jutsu then returning it back to its original size just behind. Looking at Mito, I noticed she was barely standing, and she most likely had enough chakra for one more jutsu before she's unable to continue.

She appeared right in front of me, sending a right hook to my face, I lifted my left elbow blocking her attack. With my right hand, I grabbed her by the neck, lifting her from the ground. "Give up, you're exhausted already and can barely focus," I said to her.

She replied with a cheeky grin before wrapping both her legs around my waist and sends the both of us to the ground with her right on top of me. "Haha, I got your back to touch the ground first," she said with a triumphant smile before resting her head on me.

"We didn't even agree on something like that!" I said to her.

"Oh! she passed out already," I muttered, sensing how calm her chakra had become.

I carried her in a bridal style, "System, return the training ground to its original condition," I said before appearing in Mito's room then placing her on the bed.

'That was fun,' I chuckled as I exited the room.

An intense downpour of rain was currently happening all around the Land of Fire. I this torrential downpour, five shinobi were running on trees, trying to find shelter from the rain.

"There, I can create a house for us there," one of the shinobi pointed at the clearing a few metres ahead of them.

"Hashirama-sama, there's a body here, and I can sense slight chakra from it," a shinobi said when they all got to the clearing.

They all walked closer to the body, and the moment they saw the clan symbol on the back of the shinobi clothes, the only white-haired shinobi amongst them immediately brought out his sword wanting to end the life of the shinobi.

"Tobirama, stay your hand. I see no reason to kill this shinobi." Hashirama said, stopping his brother from killing the shinobi.

"Anija!!, he's an Uchiha," Tobirama coldly replied, raising his sword not listening to his brother.

Hashirama held his sword arm before saying, "Enough Tobirama, we still need the help of Madara in locating Hatake Indra, maybe saving his clansman would convince him to help us."

Hashirama then made hand signs 'Wood Release: Four-Pillar House Technique'. Wood shoots out of the ground quickly forming a two-storey building with the Senju clan symbol right above the door. "Bring him inside with you, we'd take him back to Madara after healing him," Hashirama said pointing towards the shinobi from earlier, while he went inside the building alongside the protesting Tobirama.

"Anija, this isn't wise..."

Hashirama and Tobirama frowned upon seeing the face of the Uchiha Clan shinobi, 'Izuna?! who could possibly have put him in such a condition," they both thought.
