Chapter 15

The clan has settled well since vacating the former clan compound, and since then I've primarily focused on increasing my current skills alongside the other clan members. Sadly, I've reached the peak of mastery with the Gunbai and Sword so I had to focus on a different weapon. With my immortality, I can take the time to master various weapons and fighting styles. And 'the Arnis fighting style' is what I decided to learn.

I don't know much about it though, other than fighting with Kali Sticks is an aspect of the entire martial art style, besides I never learned martial arts in my past life so I'm starting blind here, but that won't really matter because here in this world I'm faster and stronger than anyone that isn't 100 percent Otsutsuki, so I can practice with people as much as I want. And I have years to perfect it or possibly find a teacher so I'm not exactly bothered.

I informed Yuuta of my intentions of leaving for a while, then I went on to check up on my mother and the baby, before creating a portal out of the system subspace to the clan's former compound.

'Time to find more information on the sponsors of the attack on my clan, War is expensive, and sacrificing 300 shinobi without any financial gain sounds very stupid.'

The moment I stepped out of the portal, I could sense the chakra of 5 shinobi. 'Shinobi from the Land of Water, what are they doing here?'

'Maybe they're Bounty Hunters? or possible assassins? No need to think too much, I just need to politely ask.'

"Hello, you guys concealment skills suck so just come out. How long have you guys been waiting here? Don't tell me it's the entire 3 months we were gone. That's just sad!!!" I fired in quick succession, not even letting any of them speak.

"Hey!!! come back!!! where are you all running to?"

It didn't take long to catch them and apparently, the disappearance of my clan survivors has shinobi and some influential civilians spooked so they were hired to just watch the clan compound by a Noble from the Land of Fire, well according to them they're very skilled at chakra concealment. I had no reason to kill them after they gave up information on their employers so I let them go.

'I guess my first target is the Land of Fire Daimyo's court.'

I got to the land of fire capital in a week, it could have been faster but I was in no hurry to get there. I still had to visit my mother every night to supply the growing child in her uterus my chakra, I can create a portal from anywhere and to anywhere as long as I've been there before so that wasn't much of a problem.

Upon getting to the capital, It wasn't hard finding the mansion of Tento Madoka 'the noble who hired those land of water shinobi to watch my clan compound' all I had to do was ask around.

A normal shinobi would wait till night time before sneaking into the mansion but I'm not a normal shinobi so I just walked right up to the gate of the compound and knocked. 'I can't be bothered attempt sneaking in even if he has 50 shinobi lying in wait for me, all I want to do is ask questions to a fight might not even be necessary'.

"Shinobi-san, I'm looking for Tento Madoka-san."

'Well!! you didn't have to try stabbing me the moment you saw my face, all I wanted to do was ask questions.'

I kicked his dead body into the compound after stabbing his heart with my chakra rod. I created a wood clone, sending it to capture the noble and his family if he has one while I'd practice using Kali sticks with my chakra rods.

'This would be fun.'

Charging towards the shinobi squads ahead of me, I dodged the first sword strike before summoning 2 chakra rods to both palms, then hitting the closest shinobi with the chakra rod right where his cervical spine is located.

"One down, 48 to go."

With a scream, the shinobi charge towards me in a circular formation with the intention of trapping me in right in the middle. They all made the same hand signs before mist and chakra fill the air making everyone completely blind.

'With this much synergy in their technique, they have to be from the same clan.'

I won't be able to sense where they are anymore but the Byakugan, I could see where everyone was.

Immediately sidestepping, the shinobi and his kunai aimed towards my head missed by about a meter. I threw out my left hand with enough force to crush his spine. I completely compressed my chakra ensuring no one would be able to sense it.

I swept the feet of the next shinobi from under him, before he could scream out I slammed his falling body with both chakra rods. Throwing out the chakra rod from my left hand towards the farthest shinobi I could see with the Byakugan and my right hand already in a forward swing, I appeared right in front of the shinobi with my left hand wrapped around the chakra rod I threw out.

*crack*

The skull of the shinobi shattering as the chakra rod on my right hand came down on him.

*clang*

Blocking the tanto heading towards me from behind with the Kali chakra rod, before I could turn to counter-attack I had to parry another tanto aimed at my heart. Seeing a third shinobi rapidly approaching with his tanto already poised to strike.

'A three-pronged attack.' I thought already preparing my next move.

Repositioning my feet, I twisted my upper body using the slight shift in posture to untangle both chakra rods from their tanto before sending chakra to the rods. Twisting out of the way of the third Shinobi I slammed both chakra enhanced rods on his back, the strike sending his body straight to the ground creating a massive crater where his dead body landed.

Appearing behind one of the 2 shinobi from the trio slamming the chakra rod into his neck before he could react and then doing the same to the last one.

'Just like this three the others can track me via sound, so I have to silently kill everyone or just continue what I'm already doing with the chakra rods.'

*A Few hours later*

Squads of samurai from around the Land of Fire Capital surround the compound of Tento Madoka, the screams from inside the compound disheartening, and due to the thick mist streaming outside the compound gate they did not dare to enter for fear of what sort of monster is running amok inside.

When the mist finally cleared they all streamed into the compound, the scene that welcomed them would make even adult shinobi traumatised. Mini craters decorating the lawn alongside the disfigured bodies of the now dead-shinobi. The entire lawn repainted with the dead shinobi blood giving it a gory and traumatising aesthetic look. A lone shinobi stood right in the middle of the carnage without a drop of blood on his white and black attire.

"You, did you do this?" One of the samurai shouts out to the lone shinobi.

"What do you think?" The lone shinobi turns to face them before replying haughtily.

"You...You're Nokizari Indra, the Bloodline Mimic!!" Another random samurai screams out upon recognising him.

"Why did you attack a noble of the Daimyo court?" The samurai that looks to be in charge calmly ask.

"Why don't we hear it directly from him," Indra replies turning towards another him which is most likely just a clone, accompanying the clone was the noble in question alongside his daughter.

"Let go of me!!" the 15 year old looking girl screams out at the clone of Indra.

The clone of Indra arrived in front of the main body before dispelling itself.

"Don't you interfere unless you plan on dying," Indra said to the samurai with multiple ice spears appearing in the space between them.

"So back to you, can you tell me why shinobi you employed were watching my clan compound? and why was I attacked the moment I got here Madoka-san?"

"Don't bother lying, I'd be able to tell."

"How dare you attack me and drag me out here with your filthy commoner hands," the 15 year old looking girl screeched out.

"You're very stupid, aren't you Ojou-sama?" said Indra while turning to face the screeching girl.

"Back to you Madoka-san."

"I.....I...I don't know what you're talking about Indra-sama, I swear!! I don't!! I don't know why those useless shinobi attacked you, they were employed to only guard the compound," said the already snivelling Madoka.

"Indra?! It's you!!! you're that commoner bastard that dared reject me 3 years ago. Hahahaha, my papa said your entire commoner clan was killed and you were hiding in fear. Isn't it true papa?" the girl mockingly said to Indra.

"You do realise I could easily kill you right?" said Indra.

"Haha, kill me? there's just you here with over 50 samurai surrounding you. You'd be lucky to escape with your life."

"You're not as stupid as I thought but at the same time you're very stupid Ojou-sama, maybe you should take a good look at your surroundings. Let's see if your confidence would remain."

Finally taking a good look at the gory setting, the girl's eyes widen with fear finally settling it.

" So Madoka-san, do you have anything to add to what your lovely daughter just shared," said Indra with a menacing smile on his face as if daring the man to lie again.

"I'm sorry Indra-sama. It was my daughter?! yes it was my daughter, she was the one that sponsored the attack on your clan. I had nothing to do with it, I swear!! you have to believe me Indra-sama." replied the snivelling Madoka.

"Papa!!!!!"

"I believe you Madoka-san."

Indra turns to face the samurai while the 'ice spears' from earlier turned the 'father and daughter' duo into an unrecognisable mess.

"Wait!!!!!" a samurai screamed out but it was already too late as their souls had already departed heading towards the 'Pure Land'.

"Are you all going to stop me from leaving?"

"Yes, our duty is the protection of the Daimyo and his Kuge," the samurai in charge replied, although he could not keep the crippling fear he felt from his voice.

"Ok, sadly for you I do not have the energy to entertain you and your ideals," replied Indra before countless black chakra rods appeared in the body of every samurai present.

Indra paused to look at the dead bodies of everyone before stepping into a purple portal heading towards a different dimension.
