Dietrich's voice was low, but there was an undeniable edge of command to it. He stood by the large windows of his study, overlooking the darkened forests of his territory. The phone in his hand trembled slightly as he clutched it, though his expression remained unreadable.
Julian and Sulphisix, exchanged a confused glance before Sulphisix spoke up. "Alpha, are you certain? We've yet to receive any solid leads. We can't just—"
"I said dismiss them," Dietrich interrupted, his tone icy and final. He didn't turn to face them, his gaze still fixed on the distance, as if searching for something—or someone—that was just out of reach. "She's no longer within our borders."
