CHAPTER 3

"Joseph what do you think.." Collin ask him while looking at his face

"Sir.. I think the killer did this because of revenge as the victim was a famous criminal so he might have killed or did something bad to someone close to the killer, so the killer killed the victim in an obsession with revenge as simple as that.."Joseph spoke proudly as if he had done some major work. It's not that only Joseph had the same idea, even Captain George was also thinking that the killer did it for revenge but Collin has his own perspective..

"No..No it's not as simple as you think."

"Why?" Joseph ask him curiously

Collin when to the white board

"see he left a note 'FIND ME' on victim's forehead and waved his hand towards camera while exiting from victim's room, no person will do it if he wants revenge. He wants to provoke the whole investigation department just by leaving a note… he wants people to know him, they should be afraid of him. He is a psycho with a lot of pride and just wants to win. So if he wants to make chaos in the city… he will kill someone very soon. His plan is perfect to kill someone. There is not a single loop in it; this is not for revenge" Collin explains him

Joseph was domfolded now, he started scratching his head. He never thought about the case this way.

12.00 pm

Collin reached his home, he was frustrated as he couldn't find any clue related to the case. He switched on the light in the room, just after keeping his things on the table he jumped on the sofa and fell asleep immediately.

8.00 am

Collin was ready to go. As he opens the door he sees a small box lying in front of his door. It was sealed by cello tape, he picked it up and got back into the house.

He takes a cutter from the drawer and sits on the sofa while keeping the box on the table. As he cuts its cello tape Collin gets shocked.

"Finger.."this was first time something happened like it

There was a note as well inside the box, 'FIND ME' was written on it. He was very angry and wanted to catch this killer fast. He flips the paper and there was a coordinate written

'40.7061° N, 73.9969° W'

He searched for this coordinate on Google and it was located at some construction site near Brooklyn bridge.

Collin called Joseph

" He..Hello Joseph I am sending you to one location, bring everyone from over the team to this location and also bring Miss June and her team as well" Collin said very fastly while picking the box and car key.

"Hello sir what happened?" Joseph asked him.

"Tu Tu" before he could ask, the call was cut.

30 mins later…

Only Collin arrived by that time. He reached towards the construction site and started checking every building, he saw a dead body on a wall of some half built building. This victim's death was the same as the previous one. Cuts were done on his whole body, face was filled with nails, and large nails were hammered on both of his palms and even a note was there on the victim's forehead 'FIND ME' and one finger was cut. The only difference between first victim death and second one was that

Morgan Stanley died due to gun shot while this victim died due to blood loss.

While Collin was looking at the dead body everyone arrived at the crime scene, even the bureau chief and Captain George were also there, just few minutes later Joe started taking photographs of victim and Miss June and her forensic department started wearing their gloves and masks while Collin, bureau chief, Joseph and George were discussing about the case. Collin started telling everyone about the box… finger.. note.. coordinates.. everything. Everyone was shocked after listening to this. No one spoke for a while, even all the officers started looking at Collins' face after hearing the incident.

One new intern officer started vomiting after seeing a dead body in front of him(A/N: poor guy).

Dead body was taken for apostrophe and everyone went back to the office, Collin gave the box to the forensic department.

In bureau chief office

Chief was seated on his chair while Captain George and Collin were standing in front of him, keeping their face down.

Chief finished his tea in just one slip from his favourite Chinese cup and spoke with loud voice

"I don't care what you do but I want you two to find the killer in the next few days…."

After a few hours apostrophe report was in hand of Collin, the thing that made him surprised was Morgan Stanley (first victim) blood was found on the new victim's body.
