My first date.

I was there sitting in the hotel with this man in front of me who is like a prince for me. I was a bit nervous but a lot more happy that day. Even Nikhil ( the guy in front of me seemed happy).

We both were stealing gazes of one another. But we both weren't ready to start the conversation. 'He looks so hot' I told to myself and chuckled. He looked at me with a questioning face and I just smiled. I smiled everytime I looked at him.

I couldn't help but blush at that point. I was so happy! I never believed to my friend who always suggested me to go on blind dates. I thought it was a waste of time. But now that I am here I am so glad she suggested me that app.

Yes! I am on a blind date with this man and the craziest part is that he is so good. Atleast way nice than what I expected him to be. This date was actually successful!

The man in front of me is Nikhil the CEO of a big import export company. He is so rich yet so humble and he even himself asked me, a middle class girl, to come on a date with him. He is really very kind.

We both finally started talking and I was a lot more comfortable now. From what I observed is that he talked very freely with me as if he always wanted to share these things with me. We both talked on various topics like family, friends, work etc.

We were almost done drinking our welcome juice when a waiter came with the menu card in his hand. I acted as if I am reading the menu but I had already planned what to order. Both of us looked at the waiter at the same time and said "White sauce pasta please"

We both looked at each other in shock. Even he liked White sauce pasta? I couldn't believe that we just met still we have so many things similar to one another. I think we both were DESTINED to meet one another. The waiter smiled and said " Okay 2 White sauce pastas" "thank you" He bowed and went.

While we both were waiting for the order to come I silently observed that the head waiter was starring at me. I think that he thought I didn't see it but I did. Ofcourse my whole appearance made him stare at me. I was looking super hot that day! I am not exaggerating but that short dress would make any man stare at me.

Finally the dish arrived and I immediately started eating it because I was damn hungry. Nikhil smiled and even he joined me. We both praised the dish and ate it whole.

Now you all must be thinking how this all begun?

Well my friend Simran one day came in and suggested me this app.

FLASHBACK

I live with my friend Simran in a rented House in this city. She has a boyfriend but she is always concerned about me. "Come on Ayesha You need to have a boyfriend! You can't be single your whole life" said she. "Okay okay" I said while scrolling down my Insta. Actually she is more concerned about me being single than me myself!

"I have something for you!" said she with weird sparkle in her eyes. I quickly kept my phone aside to see what she's got for me. it's not everyday that she gives me something. I excitedly asked "What is it?" "It's this app..."

"Noooo no more dating apps please" I knew it! Now she got me another dating app. Listen you may call me outdated but I believe in meeting people in person rather than online.

"Okay okay listen! You have to do nothing. You just have to register you name and upload a chic profile photo! that's it, the rest the app will do itself. " "okay do whatever you want" I said. I didn't had much hopes anyways.

After a long one hour Simran happily came in with her phone in her hand. "Look you've got a match" I took her phone in my hand and saw. It was Nikhil's photo adjoining mine's! And there after began a new story.

After that day Nikhil and I started chatting with each other. We even started calling one another. Even he showed interest in me so we both were quiet happy.

One day he called me. "Hello Ayesha" This was the first time that I could observe nervousness in his voice. It felt like he wanted to ask me something but what? Even I greeted him "Hello Nikhil" He was silent for a minute and then said " Ayesha I want to ask you something"

I said "Okay go ahead' but he still didn't say anything "Are you nervous?" I asked him. He chuckled and said "Actually you know what I wanted too..." "You wanted to what?" "I wanted to ask you out for a date" I started laughing.

Confused he asked me "Why are you laughing?"

"Such a small thing and you were so nervous" "Yeah So will you come for dinner with me?" " Hmm dinner date? Okay fine when are going?"

"This weekend" He said quickly. "I will message you the address" "Okay" I said and we both agreed to meet this Saturday.

After the call when I actually came across what we both said I was happy and excited but a lot afraid only because it was my first time meeting him. And that too on a date. All this was too much for me. But for some reason I wanted it.

Then came few thoughts in my mind. What am I gonna wear on that date? Should I wear short clothes or long clothes? Should I apply makeup or just continue with my natural look? I didn't knew anything but I had a person who was way more experienced in all this and she was ofcourse Simran.
