Destiny - Balance

In the Beginning, there was only the Light and the Dark. These two forces were commanded by two entities, the Gardener and the Winnower. The Gardener existed to create, to let loose the powers of creation indefinitely. The Winnower, on the other hand, was an opposing force, the embodiment of the survival of the fittest, the Sword Logic.

The Winnower would break down the life the gardener had created acting as a reaper, destroying the chaff to build up the strongest. This act continued with billions upon millions of cycles of life, death and destruction. Thousands of civilisations and universes created only to be burnt down to the ground. Only to be built up over and over again.

Despite this constant battle of creation and destruction the Light and Darkness coexisted happily together until one day, a schism in their relationship occurred when the Winnower destroyed one of the Gardener's preferred creations. This schism created an accord, they should forever keep the balance between Light and Dark, so that one could never trump the other.

They were tired of the back and forth brought on by the constant opposition of forces. Thus they created what we now know as the universe. The definitive melting pot of creation and entropy. They knew that they alone could not keep this balance, for they were what they were, they could not be any different, would never stop striving for their goals of creation and destruction. Light and Dark.

Thus, they created an intermediary, one of both light and dark, a perfect union of both their own making. This being was named Cosma Ahn by the awoken scholars, the living embodiment of the universe, forever seeking a balance between the forces of both Light and Darkness.
