…
Today was the day that Wei Feng came over to Jiu Li's place to discuss about the long forgotten crest and it's meaning for it to appear in Wei Feng's dreams.
"Hey, Wei Feng, did you have anymore dreams?"
Jiu Li interrogated.
"Indeed, in fact, I've dreamed of another symbol."
Jiu Li was taken aback.
"W-what?"
"We should discuss this inside first, who knows if someone is eavesdropping?"
"Oh! A-alright!"
…
"So your telling me that the new symbol I have dreamed of was on the neck of the outsider who broke into your school?"
Wei Feng was baffled.
"Yes…"
Jiu Li responded.
"So, are how we going to deal with that?"
"The only thing we know is that the crest means strength, protection, and honor—and I will just assume that the tattoo is exclusive only for the member of an underground organization. So maybe the reason why the crest and tattoo are appearing in my dreams is because the organization is scheming something and the crest means that the scheme would be suppressed—the only thing left is the question: if the scheme is being suppressed, why would i be dreaming of it?"
Wei Feng concluded.
"Maybe you play a vital part in supressing the organization and the lord wants warn you beforehand?"
Jiu Li inferred.
"Not impossible, we can leave our conclusion like that until we get more evidence. I mean, i think we basically debunked the meaning behind our dreams."
"Yeah, we should wrap things up now, my head is splitting apart from contemplating about this matter."
As they were about to leave, Jiu Li noticed a strange figure lurking in the shadows. The figure was tall and wore a long cloak that seemed to blend in with the darkness.
"Wei Feng, do you see that?"
Jiu Li whispered, pointing at the figure.
Wei Feng squinted his eyes to see the figure more clearly.
"I see it too. We should follow it, it might give us more information about the organization."
Jiu Li nodded in agreement and they began to tail the cloaked figure. The figure moved swiftly, weaving through alleyways and streets. Jiu Li and Wei Feng kept their distance, cautious not to be spotted.
Eventually, the figure led them to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of a town. They watched as the figure disappeared inside, and then vigilantly made their way towards the building.
As they approached the warehouse, Jiu Li and Wei Feng noticed that the entrance was heavily guarded. They quickly hid behind some nearby crates to avoid being spotted.
"What do we do now?"
Wei Feng whispered.
Jiu Li thought for a moment before responding,
"We need to find a way inside without being detected."
They looked around and saw a small window on the side of the building.
Jiu Li gestured towards the window and whispered,
"Let's try to go through there."
They quietly made their way towards the window, carefully avoiding any obstacles that could make noise. Once they reached the window, Jiu Li carefully pushed it open and they both climbed inside.
The interior of the warehouse was dimly lit, with only a few scattered light bulbs illuminating the area.
The chapter title today lives up to it’s name. As the author, i have failed to remember about the dream matter, in this chapter, I’ll be sure to cover the meaning!
