DESTINED TO THEM

“I see where your frustration lies, my dear.” The king said thoughtfully, to the werewolf he said, “what’s your name young man?” “Prince Felix Walker, my lord.” He replied. “The name suits you so very well but, why are you after my daughter?” The king asked. “She is my familiar, my lord.” Felix replied. “Not if I have something to say about that.” Salvador interrupted. “Even if you do, there’s nothing you can do at this point homey.” Felix replied. An argument could have emerged but the presence of the king kept them on bay. The main concern was not them, they all understood that, it was Ella. “Ella dear?” The king called out. But she was already walking to the table. She pulled out a chair and sat. The others came to her side and sat the king sat on the master chair and instructed the three men to sit opposite his daughter. They did as instructed and waited. “You know,” Ella said in a trembling voice, “I went to pray early this morning. I told God that I wanted to get married, to whom, when and where, I don’t care.” She smiled and cleaned the tear that ran down her face. “Well now I do care, but it’s too late. It looks like he already heard and answered my prayer.” She looked at the men in front of her and clean her tears as they flow. “Three men, one lady, what sort of an answer is that? To me, that is a bit too much.” The king shudder.

CHAPTER 5

They remained in the bathroom, they slept in the bathroom! They didn't know when they dozed off. They woke and found the tub empty. No Ella, no water, no nothing. Panic ran all over them. They went out of the bathroom, but she wasn't in the bedroom either. They ran downstairs and found her in the kitchen. She had already prepared breakfast which made them wonder when she woke to be able to prepare so much.

"Good morning boys, you were all sleeping so soundly that I didn't want to wake you, so I made breakfast. Come have a seat and eat." Ella smiled as she spoke.

The boys came and sat down. They began to eat without saying a word. Which made Ella wonder if she had gone over bars somewhere.

"Did I do something wrong?" Ella asked before she sat.

"No, why?" Harvey asked without looking at her.

"I said good morning, none of you answered. You spoke to Harvey, but you couldn't even look at me in the face. That's wrong." She replied a bit upset. She took a breath, when she opened her eyes, she ran into Salvador's eyes. She wondered what he was thinking.

"Sorry wifey, good morning. How was your night?" Felix said, getting her attention to himself.

"Fine and yours?" She smiled.

"Good, this tastes nice." He commented.

"I was a bit worried about your sleeping in the cold water, wifey." Salvador said but she never looked back at him. Which made him a bit weary, his wife is scared of looking at him then into his eyes.

"I was a bit hot, so I had help before I was able to – hardly – sleep off." She answered as she ate her food.

"The snow? How?" Harvey asked.

She looked at him and said, "I have a godfather who does that for me, that's why."

"I'll be back late today, don't wait up." Salvador said as he rose.

"Not even a kiss goodbye?" Felix asked.

Salvador came back and kissed Felix and Harvey before he left.

"I hope you're not fighting with him, right?" Harvey asked after Salvador was gone.

"No we're not. Maybe he… never mind." She replied.

"Come on, eat up. We're going hunting today as promised." Felix said very enthusiastically.

"Sure, got to clean up first." She smiled.

"I can clean up for you, just don't be gone too long though. I don't want to be alone." Harvey said.

"Won't you come along, I don't want to leave you alone. If we're going, then we're all going, no discussion." She said and started packing up the plates.

The boys helped her dry and arrange the plates in the cupboard. They bathed and left afterwards.

They spent the whole day learning how to hunt – Ella and Felix – but were terrible compared to Felix. They returned back early in the evening, made something to eat, shower and went to bed.

Ella was so restless, so she stood and went downstairs to wait for Salvador.

He came back very late as he had said earlier. But was surprised to find Ella waiting for him in the parlor. He went to her, she seemed lost in thoughts.

When Ella saw Salvador in front of her, she couldn't help but cry. She thought something bad must have happened to him. She ran up to him and hugged him tight until she subside and the tears slowed down.

Salvador was scared that he might've insinuated a bad impression in her head. He didn't know how to help a crying woman, his woman. He only held her tight until she stopped crying. "I'm sorry." Was all he'd say.

"You scared me, please don't come back home so late alone. Come have a seat, I'll warm your food for you." She said taking his hand and pulling him to the kitchen counter and sat him down.

"You don't have to wait for me." He said when she brought his food.

"Why? Isn't that my job as your wife, to be worried enough to wait for you?" She said, He was frustrating her again and she didn't like it.

"Come here." He said as he stretched his hand to her. She took it and came to him. "I'm sorry, I guess I have to get used to being waited for at home by someone. No one ever waited up for me, up until now. Thanks wifey." He said cupping her face and giving her a sound kiss.

She drew away almost immediately. "Are you really that scared of me, wifey?" He couldn't help but ask.

"You didn't kiss me earlier this morning, I guess you didn't find me pleasing enough to kiss. But you're kissing me now," she ran out of breath, took another and continued, "I thought you didn't like me enough, sorry." She answered, still not looking at him.

He lifted his hand and lifted her chin till she faced him. "You don't like looking at me either. You look at each other all the time and even smile at them, but not once at me." He said without putting blame.

"Sorry for that. The thing is."

"The thing is what, come on tell me. I don't bite, well yes I do bit," Ella laughed then, "but I won't kill you, tell me." He said. He felt better that he could make her smile and doubly, at him.

"Well, the thing is, your eyes are hard to look away from." She replied with a smile but still not looking at him.

"So you don't bother looking at them." He said, but felt better. He thought he scared her by himself.

"You don't scare me, just your eyes. But then, I don't think you like me either." She went silent.

"Hey look at me," he urged and when she did, she bit her lips as well. Now he understood what she said, "You're right, I don't like it." When she opened her mouth to talk, he beat her to it, "I love you instead. I love you, wifey, so much." He smiled at the look on her face.

She didn't know what to say or do. But his eyes knew what she ought to do. Taking her chance, she leaned forward and kissed him. He didn't let her go, he pulled her to him instead and kissed her some more till it drove them both crazy. Suddenly he pulled away.

"See what I meant." She pulled out of his arms and packed the plates to the sink.

"I don't want to cross my boundaries, wifey." He answered as he went to her.

"And what boundaries are those?" She asked, concentrating on the plates.

"You're not just my wife, but our wife," he wrapped his arms around her from her back. "I can't do anything without them. I want you, so bad but." He sighed and rested his head on her shoulder.

"Sorry. Help me do one thing next time." She said.

"Anything, just say it." He turned her to him and caught her biting her lips again.

"Don't kiss me like that again if you won't, we won't you know. I don't want to be hot again, at least if nothing will happen. And please don't say anything again, what if I say no sex or no kisses or no touching." She laughed.

"Okay, I won't kiss you like that again only if you go about biting your lip like that. And second, whatever you'll say, it'll always be anything for you, 'cause I'll do everything for you. Just to make you happy." He said, giving her an albeit kiss.

"Fine, I won't bite my lips again, if I don't get to see your face." She said, trying not to bite her lips again. His eyes always hold her still and get her hot just by mere looking at them.

"That won't be possible. I want you to always look at me, wifey." He replied throatily.

"I want to look away now or I bite my lips and I thought you just said you'll do anything just to make me happy." She cried.

"Please don't look away, but I want to see your face. How can I do that if you can't look at me?" He asked brushing his lips on hers. She was turning him on and that was bad, must she be this stubborn.

"I can close my eyes." She said.

"No, not enough. But can't I close my eyes?" He shook his head.

"No, not enough. Let's do this, ten seconds or less we'll look at each other and then avert." She suggested.

"Sounds better to me." He said.

She inert pressure and freed herself from him.

"What's wrong wifey?" He asked at her sudden movements. He thought they were okay now.

"I know I said you don't scare me but," she swallowed hard. "Is that normal?" She asked.

"What is?" He asked.

She didn't know how to explain it, so she brought a mirror and showed him.

His fangs! He smiled. "They're called fangs wifey."

"Oh I see." She breathed. "Are they the ones you'll use to… bite me?" She asked.

"Yep, but not today! Today we'll go to sleep." He said as they walked upstairs.

"But do they hurt as they come out and are they hurting you now?" She asked.

"They don't hurt when they come out, but they are itching me now. But it'll pass." He opened the door to the bedroom and quickly went to take a shower. He'd have asked her to scrub his back but he needed to control himself. Most of all, to think of what to do.
