The Beginning

Long long ago, in a small volcanic island in the Pacific Ocean, there lived a young chief with his beautiful wife. The island is called Viti and the village is located at the peak of the highest mountain in the mainland. The village known to many as Tomani-ivi, de1rived from the name of a local seasonal fruit whereas it's tree is tall and huge which suits the location of the village. The villagers which consists of five families excluding the slaves are very organized. The houses were made from the thatched reeds and leaves are called Bure and were built in a circle around the Chief's and Burekalou
