After their meal, they both walked back to their room so as to get some sleep after the exhaustion of the event.

The bed was so big that it would be able to contain five people without being compact, but even with how big the bed was, Bethany wasn't able to sleep freely as her body was in a stiff position.

Although Savarus do know that she was uncomfortable with him sleeping by her side, he didn't bother himself to solve the issue by getting out of the bed, because he knew after some time she will get used to it.

After what looks like two hours, Bethany manage to fall asleep, her breathing was now calm and steady as the exhaustion of the event finally took a toll on her.

Savarus turned to look at Bethany who was lying do far out on the edge, he was kind of afraid she would fall down from the bed as he stood up and walked to her side of the bed before adjusting her properly.

After he finished adjusting her to the middle of the bed, he took the blanket and cover her with it so as to prevent her from catching cold. He walked over to the window and look at the moon which was shining brightly.

He turned to look at the sleeping face of Bethany, the woman who was now his family.

On getting back to the bed, he noticed Bethany sweating profusely and turning in discomfort, he quickly rushed over to her and remove the blanket from her.

"Bethany, Bethany!" said Savarus in a calm voice as he keep on shaking her gently so she could wake up.

With the continuous shaking, Bethany opened her eyes as she gasped for air.

"You're okay, it's just a dream" said Savarus as he brush away the sweet from her face with his hand.

Seeing as she was still scared and confused, Savarus calmly pulled her towards his chest and gently stroke her hair.

After comforting her for some time, her heartbeat returned to a steady rhythm and she fell asleep in his arms.

When she woke up the next day, she looked around the room to see if she could see any sign of Savarus as he wasn't on the bed, but she didn't.

She do know their wedding consummation was supposed to take place yesterday, but she wasn't ready and she knew Savarus would understand because he already promised to take things slowly between them.

On looking at the door, she saw Savarus with a tray on his hand as he opened the door, the tray was containing a glass of milk and some cookies.

"Good morning my lady" said Savarus as he approached her. "Did you have a good night sleep?" asked Savarus.

"Morning, I slept well, thanks for asking. How about you?" asked Bethany even though she knew what the answer would be.

"I slept well" replied Savarus.

"You don't have to lie to me, I do know you didn't sleep because I must have disturbed you at night" said Bethany.

"I don't see a reason to lie, I slept well. Go get washed so you can take this first before going downstairs for breakfast" said Savarus.

"Can I know why you are the one presenting food to me?, isn't the wife supposed to do that?, you don't have to serve me, you know that right?" Asked Bethany.

"I don't follow custom Bethany, I do what I like doing, I have always picture of living a normal life, where I can wake up in the morning and preparing something for my wife to eat before breakfast" said Savarus.

On hearing the words of Savarus, Bethany couldn't help herself as she giggled while trying to suppress her laughter.

"I don't know you were such a gentleman" said Bethany while laughing.

"If I wasn't, then you won't have married me" said Savarus with a smirk.

After taking her bath, Bethany took the glass of milk and gulp half of it before taking two cookies to accompany it.

They walked downstairs to the dining table so they can have their breakfast. As they got there, the table was already set, so they didn't waste time before sitting down and started eating.

"Will you be going to work today?" asked Bethany as they finish eating their food.

"Do you want me to?" asked Savarus.

"No, I'm sure your people at work would be able to handle any issue, that's if there is one" said Bethany.

"Actually I wasn't planning on going, but it felt great hearing it from you" said Savarus.

"Why are you so cunning?" asked Bethany while laughing.

"How about we walk around the mansion just to take a look around" said Savarus as he stretch his hand for Bethany to take which she took without any hesitation.

The view around the mansion was a very beautiful one with flowers planted at every corner of the mansion, the fountain of water at the front of the mansion was making it look spectacular.

"Will you still like to continue your training?" asked Savarus as they kept on walking.

"I still do wish to learn so I can protect myself from harm when you are not with me" said Bethany.

"Okay, but we wouldn't be practicing throughout this week, this week is for the celebration of our successful marriage" said Savarus.

"Understood" said Bethany as they continue walking.

On reaching a tree which was at the back of the mansion, Savarus propose for them to sit down on the long bench which was under the shade so they could could just relax under it.

"Savarus, were you able to ask my dad the thing I asked of you?" asked Bethany as they sat on the bench.

"I did, but he didn't give me a reply, he doesn't seem like telling anyone what's he's up to" replied Savarus.

"Okay, thanks for trying anyway" said Bethany.

'Oscar, are you sure your daughter would be able to survive without you' said Savarus in his mind.
