Chapter 14 Meeting The Nine Pillars

Tanjiro was very happy that he including his other two friends has become really strong under the training of Senjuro san.

They were moving toward the next demon and save more people when they heard sound coming toward them. This make them on edge and took a defensive stand.

But the human killing demon that all of them was expecting did not come. What they saw was a beautiful women wearing demon slayer outfit and butterfly hair pin.

The girl smile and ask them politely "did any of you saw any demon here?"

"humm no, there was one demon with big spider head but we take care of him" said tanjiro.

"You are too late to come lady. Go find demon else were, there is no more demons here for you." said Inosuke in his usual rude way.

Zenitsu on the other hand had stars in his eyes. He had never saw a more beautiful women in his life.

"OH it fine I am sure there is one more demon for me here to kill." Shinobu said pointing toward tanjiro or more precisely pointing towards the box which Tanjiro was carrying.

This made Tanjiro and other again in edge. They knew that this will happen. Senjuro in fact told them that there is a huge possibility that some thing like this happening in their journey.

Shinobu sweetly ask tanjiro to hand over the demon to her but tanjiro firmly rejected her.

This lead to what Senjuro saw after he arrive to the area followed behind Giyu.

Zenitsu was having problem entering his meditative state because he did not wanted to fight the pretty demon slayer lady but at the same time he wanted to save her Nezuko chan.

Inosuke was fighting Kanou who followed her mentor and help her when her fellow demon slayer started defending a demon girl.

Inosuke was having a real hard time fight her because how nimble she was.

Tanjiro on the other hand was fighting Shinobu and was not fairing well either. Shinobu's skill level was far beyond what Tanjiro was capable of and the only way he was stopping her from stabbing Nezuko with her poison cover sword tip is because he is using Hino Kami Kagura and water breathing at the same time but he also tired and he won't be able to keep this for long.

After fighting for few minute Shinobu finally out maneuver Tanjiro and directly went toward nezuko.

And unlike Kanau. Shinobu was not slow enough for nezuko to dodge her.

Tanjiro saw this seen in horror as Shinobu niddle like blade coming closer toward Nezuko.

But before the blade could make contact with Nezuko the blade snapped and Shinobu saw a bright flash and then fire was every were. Only by the slight margin she did not caught fire herself.

Then she saw a familiar blond hair and bright red and yellow eyes. She was still in trance and could not response when the blond hair boy took and demon in his arms and when toward Tanjiro.

It took some time for both Shinobu and Giyu who was seeing all this things from a far to react.

Shinobu's immediately ask "Rengoku san why are you saving this demon." ask shinobu with a smile but there was tint of irritation on her face which could be because Senjuro save the demon or he break her niddle like sword.

"Human or Demon if they are innocent then its my job to save them." Said senjuro without turning toward toward her and facing Tanjiro who was now standing back again hugging Nezuko.

"She is a demon, rengoku san. Demons are not innocent, they kill human and eat them. Of all the people out there you should know this the best right." said Shinobu this time with a clear irritable tone.

"I have been with this demon girl from the starting and she did not kill a single person. Giyu san here also can testify my statement as he was the first who found her and her brother." said Senjuro getting a nod from Giyu.

Shinobu wanted to argue but at that time crows started shouting about the masters order to bring tanjiro and Nezuko to the Demon Slayer Corp head quarter unharm.

And with that all of them started to move toward the Hashira Gathering with a certain blond boy wearing Hokage cloak who in a certain reality should not exist there.

Senjuro was standing beside his brother the flame hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku and talking about his journey still now.

His brother on the other hand was pretty surprise at what he was able to accomplish. Till now he was thinking that Senjuro have also learn Flame breathing from father or the book in their home but Creating a hole new breathing style from a single book on Hino Kami Kagura was very impressive to Kyojuro.

All the pillars was present there and meet Senjuro and Tanjiro there. While Senjuro was free to roam arround, it was not the case for Tanjiro. Because he was travelling with a demon he was tied up and was restricted to move around.

Shinobu in her way to the hashira mansion learn that the person who broke her sword was not Kyojuro but was his little brother Senjuro who was travelling with Tanjiro and others.

Giyu was silent as ever but other hashira was talking a lot specially Sanemi the wind pillar. He was really angry about how a demon was left alive and also was bring all the way toward the hashira mansion.

If Senjuro take out his very presence then he could say that all the things going on here was exactly like what happen in the anime.

Beside only Giyu and rengoku all other hashira was ready to kill the demon and some was also asking for tanjiro dead.

That wind Hashira Bastard even ask for Senjuro's head.

But Senjuro did not do anything not untill any of them do anything physical here.

The master finally did come and they finally did go though all the verification thing which happen in the anime which At some point Senjuro wanted to interfere but that will just create more trouble for Tanjiro and Nezuko.

Finally when the attention of other people was off of Tanjiro and Nezuko the master of the mansion and demon slayer corp put all of his attention toward Senjuro.

"Rengoku Senjuro I have learn few thing about you from your brother and other hashira who saw you fighting the demon. They say that you learn a kind of breathing which create real fire." ask the master.

Senjuro nodded in confirmation and said "yes that I can".

The master was now more interested in the matter and ask Senjuro to perform his breathing style and create that fire.

Senjuro wanted to ask that you can't see even he do that but did not wanted to be rude and so just took out his sword and perform his breathing and create some fire on his blade.

Other hashira too was very interested in this and wanted to ask many more question about his but did not.

The Master could not see the fire but he could feel the heat of the flames.

After thinking a little more about his he ask "do you know why this is happening and could other people do the same ?"

Senjuro just explain how he can teach the breathing style to others but the fire is something which is specific to him.

The master was still a little curious and wanted to test out Senjuro's strength. He had a feeling that Senjuro is more than what he is letting them know. Not to mention he also wanted to see how his Hino Kami E-kari really work.

"I would like to see how your swordsmanship and breathing style really work. I know about a breathing style called Hino Kami Kagura before and if your Hino Kami E-Kari could be seems similar not to mention that I too never have seen or heard about a breathing technique which could produce real fire." saod the master in is usual tone.

Senjuro was trilled by the question and immediately agreed with the proposer. He wanted to fight some one strong for a long time and now he have that chance.

"yes sure but I would like to fight one of the hashira and the not include my brother. I will get chance to challenge him for a spar any way so I better get some one else." Senjuro said with firm tone.

"oh okay but it would be really hard for you to fight a hashira, are you sure you want to do that." master ask him.

"Sure I would love to fight a Hashira. I wants to have a good fight and till now there is no demon who gave me that. Thus I want to see what one of the 9 pillars can do." announce Senjuro without any thought.

Master agreed with him, wanting to see how Senjuro will fare against a Hashira himself. And ask Senjuro to choose a opponent for himself among the pillars and ask the pillars if any one wants to fight him.
