Forceful Vacation

Shun was opened his eyes, he was in his room. He was lying on his bed. When he tried to move his left arm, a sharp pain rushed through his body.

"Ouch" said Shun in a low voice as he looked at his arm.

His arm was completely bandaged, even a little movement was causing pain.

"Great! Now my arm is beyond usable. That Yuki person really does collateral damage." Shun thought to himself.

Shun stood up. He removed his medical robes and looked for his uniform. He wore a his uniform slowly and carefully. He looked at his burnt haori.

"My haori, the whole left side is burnt. This is pain, now I have to get someone to make it from scratch. It's going to be expensive." Shun spoke to himself with a frustrated tone.

Shun picked his katana from the stand and unsheathed it halfway. He rotated blade carefully observing it.

"I might need to get this checked by Katie. My blade looked a little damaged." thought Shun.

He clipped katana to his belt and exited his room. He took a deep breath and looked around. His earpiece started to ring. Shun tapped the earpiece to answer the call.

"Good morning, Shun. It's me Arsenal" said the Arsenal through the call.

"Good morning. Nice timing, I just woke up" replied Shun.

"Technically it was not good timing, I set a notification to alert me when you are awake via your chip to get the info after I got to know about the recent battle" said the arsenal.

"Of course, you did" replied Shun with a annoyed expression.

"Eric told me everything about the battle. Good job on defeating her. Honestly, I would have never been able to defeat her, in close combat against that heat blades. Also, glad to see you alive and well." said the Arsenal.

"Alive? She almost ripped my arm off if that happened the elite hashira rank is going to be only you and Yuki since The Goliath disappeared. Do you know what happened Yuki? I am pretty sure I was able to throw her away from the explosion radius." asked Shun as he walked through the hallway.

"According to Eric, she was able to recover pretty easily since you gave her very shallow wounds. Apparently, she was called by the master to Japan HQ for her impulsive and breaking one of the rules of the Corps. I am sure, she is going to get punished for this. Also Shun, she has been very shaken due her defeat. According to the reports, she hasn't spoken a single word after waking up" replied The Arsenal.

Shun remained quiet.

"Also how did you manage sever her blades? Those blades are forged by Eric himself." asked the Arsenal.

"Every blade has a weak point where high amount of force is concentrated. If you find it and strike and point, it is guaranteed that the blade would shatter. A good, forged blade makes that weak point small and hard to identify. While I was attacking that attack, I analyzed blade and found the weak point and strike it. Honestly it was very hard for me the find that point" replied Shun.

"When did you became a blade expert?" asked the Arsenal.

"I am just being observant" replied Shun.

"I almost forgot. One of my drones are coming to your location to deliver you something great I made for you." said the Arsenal.

"You know I don't like augments. They are unreliable, that whole explosion happened because of that" said Shun.

"Don't worry, I promised that you will like it" exclaimed The Arsenal.

Shun walked outside and waited a little bit. A drone appeared from the sky and landed in front of Shun.

"These drones can go invisible?" asked Shun with a surprised tone.

"I had to make cloaking system so it would be invisible for the military and normal people. Otherwise, how am I supposed to carry my equipment without being noticed. Don't keep me waiting, open up" replied The Arsenal.

The drone hatch opened. Shun took a good look inside. There was a sheath and a yokai mask in the shape of a lion. The mask was in the red and while colour scheme.

"I made you a mask. This mask has AR system that would help to enhance you vision. This would help you to see things that a naked eye is incapable of. It uses an AI system to identify the best light wave that provide the most information like infrared and convert it to visible light so you can see it. I modified the sheath to act as a command interface to the mask and made the quickdraw much smoother. The sheath has two discs that can be thrown on a surface that would stick to it. The disc will emit radiowaves to map the area from inside out and relay the information through the mask. The overlays can be switched using the buttons in the sheath." described The Arsenal.

"Thats a lot of information. I have to use it before telling you whether I like it or not" said Shun

"I am sure that you will like it. Anyways I need to go now. I'll come visit you when I am free until then bye and take care" said the Arsenal as he hanged up the call.

Shun picked up the mask and sheath using his right arm. The drone took off with great speed and disappear from Shun's sight. Shun walked back inside and asked a slayer to take the mask and the sheath to his room. The slayer smiled and agreed.

Shun decided to go to his garden to relax.

"I was thinking to have a normal vacation and relax. I wanted to play some games and travel to Japan HQ to enjoy the scenery. But with this wound, I have to report sick holidays and now I won't be able to go on my vacation." though Shun.

As he entered the garden, he saw a slayer slicing a small sapling using his sword. Shun dashed towards the slayer. Using his right arm, he grabbed The Slayer from his neck and lifted him up. The slayer looked at Shun's furious face in shock and fear.
