Having gained intermediate master of the two spells during these past two weeks , Kael decided that he should halt his training and focus on the territory's future activities. As for the shadow cloak spell he would train in it some other times, he could even ask Alexia to give him some pointers. As an assassin she should have trained in similar spells.

The next morning after taking his bath and breakfast, he went to his mother office, with the maid who was in charge of him for these past weeks in tow.. He took a seat behind the office desk and started inquiring about the past two weeks happenings.

"Has anything unusual happened in the territory during those two weeks "he asked

"there was no unusual occurrings during those past weeks young master, everything was normal. The only remarkable events was that some of those who went in seclusion have emerged and achieve breakthrough " replied the maid

"oooh.. how many have broken through and who are those that achieved a breakthrough. "Asked kael

"amongst those who have achieved breakthrough, there are 5 guards and 4 maids including Alexia "replied the maid

"I'm not surprised that Alexia is amongst the first to achieve a breakthrough, she was my mother's most powerful and trusted subordinate. Have someone summon her for me. As for the task I gave you two weeks ago, how is the progress "

"very well young master" The maid replied then she asked one of the maids outside the room to call for Alexia

"As for the task entrusted by young master I've not disappointed young master, and had some subordinates to prepare the required informations"after saying this the maid exited the office before she returned with a trove of maps and scrolls, each detailing the lands and kingdoms that lay beyond the borders of their territory. Then she unfurled the maps on the desk and started explaining

"These maps depicts, the territories, towns and resource gathering spots that borders our domain " said the maid

"As you can see, there aren't that many territories bordering our domain. And those that are in our surroundings are pretty weak mostly controlled by demons barons without backing or affiliations with the exception of some barons who are subordinates of certain factions in barren city, which is the biggest territory in our surroundings "

While she was explaining those things to Kael, Alexia had arrived following her summon

" good morning young master "said Alexia

" Good morning Alexia and congratulations for your breakthrough to demon baroness. She was explaining to me about the territories in our surroundings. Take a seat "

" Thank you young master " replied Alexia before taking a seat

The maid then continued "As for barren city it is the biggest territory in the desolate outskirts of the demon realm, southern continent.The city is controlled by marquis Abba but there are multiple factions fighting for control of the city and surrounding resource gathering spots consisting of counts, viscounts. There is also another marquis factions. Each factions has different backings from the capital of the southern continent. Some are members of factions controled by demon dukes.The city also has dealings with other territory and cities. " continued the maids

" You've done very well on this tasks, you will be rewarded for your hard work " Kael praised her

Turning to Alexia then asked:" have the Faustian contracts mother requested been purchased"

"The subordinates responsible for these purchase has not disappointed and managed to obtain about 500 faustian contracts. These are more than enough for our immediate use."

"Make all our remaining subordinates sign the Faustian contracts pledging their loyalty and promising to keep silent about the current change in our territory . Those who refuse should be disposed. As for the others they can choose appropriate baron mana circulation manual from the family's library " Said Kael

" What about the territories in our surroundings. With our current high end strength we should be stronger than those baron territories with only barren city stronger than us. What should we do about them" asked Alexia seriously

"With our current strength, we are indeed stronger.
