Cha saw three soldiers were camping in the forest.

"Could this be like in those Japanese comics that Sai was reading where the protagonist goes to a world of magic and monsters, and becomes super powerful?!"

"This book is probably what brought me here, I should check it out"

As you have probably already understood Cha is not very smart, I did say that he is intelligent, but I meant academic smart not practical and survival type of smart, that would be more Sai.

But hey at least he had good grades.

Cha reaches down with his hand attempt to pick up the book that he had just left on the ground near him

"huh?"

"the book.. it's gone!!"

"wha- where is it?"

he looks around in a desperate attempt to find his only clue on this world

"aah!!"

a fox had grabbed it and was running away

"𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵!" Cha thought to himself while getting up to chase the fox, but as he did he tripped

"ouch"

"what was that sound?!"

'𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘯 𝘪𝘵, 𝘐 𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘴'

"h-hey captain.. you.. you don't think that there are.. you know.. m-monsters"

"humpf, where has all your courage from before gone?"

"aaah shut up old man!"

as they were chatting Cha had gotten up and continued to chase the fox

"wait for me, little fox!"

after around 30 minutes of sprinting the fox was dead tired but Cha didn't break a sweat

"so are you ready to surrender?"

"grrrrrrrr"

"hahah don't worry I don't mean to harm you I just want the book, hmm let's see.."

"ah!" Cha squatted and took a big jump into the thick vegetation above him, so high that he disappeared, this gave him a view of his surroundings that were all trees otherwise.

while falling back down he picked up a fruit from a tree

"here"

Cha put the fruit on the ground

"this in exchange for the book, I bet the book doesn't taste good anyways"

"grr" the fox understood the situation and reluctantly agreed by putting the book on the ground they then walked each to their prizes

but as Cha crouched to the book the fox behind him revealed it's true form and opened it's huge mouth to devour him

just as he was unknowingly about to die he opened the book and a blinding red light followed by a huge shockwave was emitted by the book.

Cha opened his eyes, but they were red in the pupil and black in the sclera.

he got up diagonally like he was floating, like those vampires in old movies.

he turned around and as the dust from the shockwave dissipated it revealed the fox, half dead.

"grrrr!" in it's weak state all it could do was growl and slowly back away.

Cha stared at it coldly and approached it calmly.

"grr"

Cha stared at it for a moment.

he then proceeded to raise it's feet above the wounded dying fox

*splatter*

"𝖍𝖊𝖍𝖊𝖍𝖊𝖍𝖆𝖍𝖆𝖍𝖆"

he killed it.

he literally stepped on another's life and laughed.

something that the kind and generous Cha would never do.

the eyes, the behavior, the voice, this was not Cha anymore.

the soldiers from before, they had followed Cha but it took them a while to catch up because of the difference in speed.

"is this really necessary old man?"

"I already told you that if it really is a monster then it's out duty to exterminate it!"

"now now guys stop panicking, back in my days.."

'𝘯𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘰' thought both soldiers

"you see I fought alone against-"

"huh?"

they saw him, with just a few trees to separate them, they finally met.

"c- captain!"

"hmm?"

with all his experience he was used to sudden fights, so he immediately get into a fighting stance.

"this... his eyes! red shining eyes made of blood! it's a demon!"

"!"

"I thought that we had killed them all!"

"h- hey are you sure old man? he doesn't have horns so.."

"wrong! most demon under the demon emperor were half-breeds of other species, so he is definitely one even without horns!"

meanwhile Cha, no.. the demon was staring at them calmly.

a single moment of distraction and he rushed at them before they could even see him.

"AAAAAAAH!!"

*thump* it was the sound of an arm, hitting the ground after being severed from it's body.

"AAAH FUUUCK, MY ARM!" the knight with the helm

everyone had despair on their face.

the captain was too scared to even react, as it brought him back to the war with the demons.

the younger soldier kicked the captain in the back in the direction of the demon possessing Chad.

"why?"

but the soldier had already ran the opposite direction.

the captain looked above him and he saw the demon Cha staring at him.

'𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘦..'

but *swish* like the wind before they could even see him he reached the soldier running away and beheaded him

*thump* this time it was a head falling to the ground

and *swish* in a moment he was back, he stared at the captain for a second.

before the old man could utter a single word his head was looking at it's own body before hitting the ground *thump*

there was only one remaining now, and demonchad was right behind him, staring at it's pray suffering and then.

a smile creeped an his face looking at the blood-soaked inured soldier crying and holding his arm, a smile so creepy it used face muscles chad didn't even know he had.

he then grabbed the soldier and threw him.

"kh!" the soldier suffered even more

he get closer and pinned him down.

he got directly on top of him and blocked his arm from moving, he didn't have to restrain the other one because, well, there wasn't one anymore.
