Step one is complete

In a mansion surrounded by lush greenery, where the system holders are staying.

Alen returns and goes to the living room.

Entering he notices that everyone is present here discussing among them their next move.

"Ah, Alen there you are. Where were you?"

Hearing this everyone stops and turns towards Alen. The person who spoke was a boy named William. He is a short boy and he has the omnipotent system. You can tell by the way his grinning. 'Just look at him grinning, I so want to punch that grin off his face.' Alen then answers William with a casual voice.

"I went to explore the city a bit."

"Why didn't you say so we would've gone together," William asks with a confused expression.

"Everyone must be tired from this mess so I didn't want to disturb anyone." Alen still answers in a casual tone.

"So thoughtful of you." He nods with an understanding look.

'What a naive kid and he is also weak. No wonder this is probably the reason why he got the omnipotent system.'

After a while, it's nighttime and everyone comes to the dining room to eat dinner. Of course, not everyone is well-mannered. But since it's the first day everyone decided to eat together. The maids have already prepared the table for them.

But before entering the dining room Alen goes to the kitchen where some maids are preparing their dinner.

There are three maids currently in the kitchen. One is a middle-aged lady and the other two are young. But Alen doesn't enter immediately. Standing outside he reaches into his storage space and takes out a glass vial full of white power.

'Now I just need them to go out from the kitchen for a bit.' Alen raises his eyebrow.

Then he sees that the three maids take prepared drinks and head to the dining room. There are two doors from where you can enter the kitchen. One on the front of the hallway and another is at the end of the hallway. Currently, they are heading to the front door.

'Now's my chance.' Alen quickly goes to the end of the hallway.

Looking around and seeing no other maids Alen quickly enters from the back door just as they are leaving from the front door.

'Alright, I need to do this quickly.' Seeing many dishes lying around. 'Hmmm, it will be difficult to judge which dish Eric will get.'

Seeing that the maids can return any moment Alen just opens the vial and spreads all the powders across every dish and mix them to not be obvious. After seeing the empty vial he quickly returns the vial to his storage space and walks out of the kitchen using the same door that he entered. He then takes the long way to the dining room instead of the short one.

'Even though this is overdoing it I got no other choice. If I don't kill Eric today he will surely grow strong enough to not be easily taken down then I'll have to use other means and that will take my time. The time that I don't have to waste.'

'Sure everyone will also consume this including me but that's ok.'

Then when the maids started serving the drinks Alen arrived.

"Alen come sit here I saved you a seat." This cheerful voice can only be Sera's.

Looking at the table where Sera is Alen sees that she is waving at him and there's an empty sit next to her. Everyone just watches for a bit and goes back to enjoy their drinks.

Alen just goes and sits beside Sera and while looking at her he gently says, "Thank you."

Sera shyly looks away and replies in a small voice, "No problem."

Looking at her like this Alen smiles in amusement. But in fact, Alen wasn't the last to arrive because after he entered Elisa also entered and took her seat. Alen also sees this but he doesn't show any concern because he knows what she is doing. In fact, everyone knows what she was doing.

Because of her archmage system, she got some spells and she also didn't hide it. Elisa just returned from practicing spells in the training room. Because of the system she got some look at her enviously. But some also admire her.

"Wow, Elisa you started training from day one. You're amazing," a spectacle-wearing girl says while looking admiringly.

"Yes, we should party up together. You and I would make a great duo," Eric says confidently.

Elisa doesn't reply to either of them. She is often like this. She is hardworking and doesn't talk much.

While watching this Alen only drinks quietly. Then the maids bring the dishes. After seeing the dishes that look so tasty everyone quickly digs in.

After the dinner, everyone goes to their room.

The mansion has forty bedrooms so each person has their room to themselves. The maids return to their maid quarter.

While going to their room Alen glances at Sera and Sera subtly nods at him indicating that the task that Alen had given her was already done.

Seeing this Alen returns to his room. 'Alright step one is complete.'
