Feng Hei Lang groaned as the white light vanished. 'That damn goddess! She wouldn't even listen to my questions! Wait, but first, I need to find out where I am!'
She quickly stretched and opened her eyes. The sound of chirping birds and and rustling leaves filled her ears. A vibrant forest filled her sights. 'Wow...this is beautiful!'
Feng Hei Lang tried to stand up, only to fall on her side again. 'Eh??? Why can't I stand?' She looked down to see a pair of black paws with silver fur covering her foot like a sock. Wait...PAWS?!
Feng Hei Lang quickly glanced at her back to see a beautiful black tail with silver fur at its end. Her back legs were also paws with a sock of silver fur. Any other fox who saw her right now would definitely be falling for her shimmering jet black and silver fur.
However, Feng Hei Lang was busy freaking out. 'I GOT A TAIL! AND PAWS! WHAT AM I?' She quickly thought back to what the goddess had told her. 'She called me Black Wolf. Maybe I'm a wolf cub?'
After figuring out how to stand, suddenly a screen popped up in front of her. "EEK!" Feng Hei Lang let out a squeak and landed on her bottom. 'Aiya...After I just learned how to stand too!'
Feng Hei Lang quickly glanced at the screen. It read:

Feng Hei Lang's eyes almost popped out of her sockets. 'A STATUS WINDOW??? This is like a game!' Unbeknownst to her, her fox tail started wagging. 'Wait...DEMON FOX CUB?' She rubbed her eyes over and over. 'Nonono. I must have read it wrong. It should say wolf cub!'
After glancing at it a bunch of times, her species still read [Demon Fox Cub.] Feng Hei Lang sighed in surrender. 'I guess my name doesn't fit for me anymore...Maybe it should be something like Hei Hu Li for black fox. But wait...what are these skills? Chomp? Claw? Blood Fang??'
Feng Hei Lang tapped on [Chomp (Lvl. 1)] to see what happens. Instantly the screen now read something else.

Feng Hei Lang gritted her teeth in annoyance. 'UGH! It even seems as if this system is against me too! At least tell me more about it! How much damage does it do and stuff?!' She sighed and tapped on [Claw (Lvl. 1)].

Feng Hei Lang sighed in relief when it finally gave her a proper explanation. She quickly analyzed the skill. 'Not bad! There's no cooldown period! But it takes 2 hp for every one I use! I can only use this two or three times or else I would be in critical condition.'
She closed the status window and took a good look around her. She was laying on a patch of grass in the middle of a forest.
Feng Hei Lang determinedly stood up. 'Okay! Even though I'm a fox, I'm sure I can become the best and strongest cultivator here!' Her stomach growled at that moment and her face flushed. 'Or maybe I should get some food first...'
Feng Hei Lang took two steps before another screen appeared before her.

Feng Hei Lang's jaw dropped from how many items she got. 'Oh my GOD!!!! AM I OVERPOWERED YET?' She pulled everything out of her inventory.
First, she picked up the five healing potions.

Feng Hei Lang looked at the next item. A beast egg. Carefully picking it up, she pressed on its description. The shiny black shell of the egg seemed to be swallowing the sunlight.
