Chapter 8

|After this chapter, the story begins. All That Happened - Prologue short.

Viola, now a 16 year old witch, lived in a small village where every boy wanted to show his courage and bravery in front of his friends.

One day the local boys began to argue whether they could win the heart of the mysterious and beautiful Viola. One of the boys, named Mark, proposed boldly:

- Let's bet that I can make Viola fall in love with me. I'll show you that I'm the best!

The guys laughed and decided to accept the challenge. Viola, unaware of the argument, was living her life, practicing magic and helping the villagers.

Mark was approaching Viola, trying to bring out his best.

He treated her to sweets and helped her with her tasks, but Viola was dissatisfied with his eagerness to impress. She wanted the sincerity and kindness she valued in people.

As time went on, however, Mark began to show his worst qualities. He became unkind and selfish, he displayed his pride and lust for power.

Viola gradually began to feel that his intentions were not sincere.

But despite this, she still fell in love.

She saw something in Mark that attracted her - his charisma and charm that at first glance seemed appealing.

She believed there was something good and sincere inside him, and she wanted to see it in him.

However, things soon changed.

Mark, sensing his victory, treated Viola indifferently and coldly.

He abandoned her without providing any explanation or apology. Viola was broken and insulted, her heart torn to pieces.

From that moment on, failure and misfortune descended on Viola. Accidents began to visit her life one after another. Ailments and illnesses touched her and her family.

The magnificent house where she lived was destroyed by the attack of a huge demon, and her parents sacrificed their lives to protect her.

Viola was left an orphan, wracked with grief and loneliness.

The Knights of Varion came to the village to prevent further demon attacks and help the surviving inhabitants.

They took Viola, as she was the last member of the family and could be under their protection.

This is how Viola found herself in the knights' castle where she was surrounded by unfamiliar faces.

Her heart was broken and she began to dream only of gaining strength to protect her loved ones and her village from demons and trouble.

Viola decided the next morning to leave the knights' castle and travel to uncharted lands. Her heart was filled with grief and longing, but she felt she had to continue on her journey.

She walked through a huge forest that seemed endless and suddenly noticed a small black kitty sitting by a tree. The kitty seemed lost and lonely, just like her.

Viola approached the kitty and gently stroked its ear. To her surprise, the kitty did not run away, but instead snuggled up to her. She realized that they were both seeking comfort and company.

As she continued on her way, Viola found a cabin deep in the forest. It was hidden from view and had long been abandoned.

Viola felt that this cabin was what she needed. She decided to live in it, and it became her new home.

The witch who owned the hut was long gone, leaving some of her magical heritage in it. Viola began to explore her new abilities, learning magic from ancient books and experimenting with spells.

She lived alone for two years, devoting herself to her magical studies and caring for her cat, whom she named Mr. Poof. She felt that Poof was no ordinary cat, that he was special, but she couldn't imagine how much.

And then the knights started accusing her again of things she didn't do. She went into the northern forest and started fighting demons.

But she didn't know she'd be fighting a thundering demon. After she died, she decided to make a sacrifice to defeat evil. She gave her soul to another good demon who offered to help her.

Just like that, her memories faded like a candle as her soul disappeared from this world. And her story was known only to the one demon that consumed her soul.

Lox.

Lox, in Viola's body, felt a strength and power he'd never felt before. His gaze became searing and piercing, and his magical abilities became incomprehensible to the demon that stood before him.

He rose abruptly to his feet looking in the wake of the departing demon, Viola's skin became whiter than before.

The demon sensed Lox's strong aura and turned around to face this new threat. The gaze of the black substance that replaced Viola's face was directed straight into the demon's soul, making him feel vulnerable.

Not believing his eyes, the demon looked at the place where he had torn off Viola's arm and found that it was back in place. This caused him surprise and panic, for he had not expected such a thing.

Lox realized that he could now repair Viola's body with his mana, for it was now just a shell.

The imp tried to attack Lox by creating waves of fire, but Lox's magic was much stronger.

Lox canceled the demon's magic with a look, and the fire waves dissipated without harming him.

Everything around them froze, and an implacable battle began between Lox and the demon.

They used their magical abilities, trying to overpower each other.

Lox was filled with rage as he fended off the demon's attack.

He used Viola's magic with incredible agility and power, creating water currents that threw the monster a considerable distance away

The demon was stunned by this reaction and didn't expect such a fierce confrontation.

- You underestimate me! - Lox hissed through his teeth, realizing that the demon intended to destroy the body, and he wasn't going to let that happen.

Lox continued to cancel the demon's spells, preventing him from casting his powers on him. He used the water barrier to block the demon's heavy blows.

The demon continued to attack in rage, but each of his attacks were repelled and controlled by Lox.

He was proving his strength and skill by protecting Viola[shell] and himself from danger.

- This is my body, and I won't let you destroy us! - Shouted Lox, focusing all his magical energy on defense.

An epic battle erupted between Lox and the demon, fought on the edge between life and death.

Flashes of magical energy lit up the forest, and the ground shook from their powerful blows.

The surrounding trees and rocks witnessed this incredible battle.

Lox didn't know how much time had passed since the battle began. In his gaze was the lust to kill.

He would not stop until he eliminated the threat that sought to destroy Viola and himself.

As the water currents surrounded the demon, his resistance was futile.

The whirlwinds of water crushed and shattered his body. The sounds of his screams disappeared along with his existence as the water flooded him.

Lox made sure the monster was gone for good before releasing his magic.

The surroundings had calmed down, with only the noise of the forest breaking the silence.

Lox crouched down on his knee, breathing heavily. He could feel the magical energy seeping into his essence, adding to his knowledge and experience.

It was a feeling he had never experienced before.

He realized that this was possible because of his connection to Viola, because of their strong bond.

After the magic faded away, Lox felt his knowledge expand. He felt a new clarity and understanding emerge in his mind.

Each percentage of knowledge brought him a deeper understanding of magic.

[Knowledge: 10%].

Lox, incarnated in Viola's body, did feel some discomfort and awkwardness in controlling his new body.

His movements were clumsy, as if he was just learning to walk. He shifted awkwardly, shifting from one foot to the other, sometimes tripping over roots and rocks on the ground.

He was shaking his head, trying to figure out how to feel his body and control his movements.

This was an unusual experience for him, for he was a demon and had always existed in his ghostly form. Now he could feel physical existence, and it was strange and exciting at the same time.

As he approached the dead demon, he stopped and sat down beside it, gazing at the body that had recently been a dangerous opponent. There was no anger or joy in Lox's eyes, only quiet concentration.

Looking at the dead body he whispered:

- You are no longer a threat.

Lox shook his head thoughtfully. He realized that his actions, though cruel, were necessary to protect Viola and himself. He was willing to confront evil to keep them safe.

He remained there for a while, brooding. It was an unusual moment for him to face the consequences of his actions while operating in the world of physical beings.

He was beginning to realize that his decisions had consequences, and he had to be prepared for them, especially when from such a force in the forest there was a hell of a lot more to come.

Viola's face, where Lox was now, had changed, and now it looked even more mysterious and attractive. Her eyes, surrounded by long dark lashes, shone with a violet light like emeralds.

The smile that played on her lips gave her a mysterious and sly look, as if she knew some secrets that no one else had any idea about.

Lox stared intently at his new hands that now belonged to him. He realized that he now had her physical shell and he must learn to control it and use its abilities.

- I won't let my new shell cut off my arm a second time," Lox said with confidence, feeling more determined than ever.

- It's time to start thinking about plans," he whispered to himself, pulling his thoughts together. He realized that there was a lot he could do now to protect himself from any threats.

"I have such a feminine voice, I like it. I'll be able to control mindless monsters better," Lox thought to himself.

For two days Lox continued to learn how to control his new body, for every movement was a new experience for him.

He tried to be careful and inconspicuous to avoid drawing attention to himself. He knew that the human world was unfriendly to demons, so he had to be extra careful not to get caught by the haters of magic.

Lox shrouded his body with anti-magic to cancel out the aura of that body, for it was also magic of a sort.

He tried to stay away from populated areas and main roads, preferring to travel through the back corners of the forest.

All the while, Lox was focused on training and controlling his actions. He tried to avoid losing control of Viola's shell and making sure that his actions would not harm her.

Each day brought new discoveries and accomplishments. Lox learned to move more and more easily and gracefully, his steps becoming more confident and less like wandering.

One day, when Lox stopped by a small pond, he saw his reflection in the still water. His new appearance as Viola was strange and yet beautiful. His face was as mysterious as Viola's own face.

- This is what I look like in this world, thought Lox, smiling at his reflection. He was pleased with how he was coping with his new look and how he was becoming more and more like Viola.

Lox enjoyed his new shell and the freedom it gave him. His long black hair fluttering in the wind gave him a mysterious and attractive look.

He discarded the stupid hat that was restricting his movements and felt the fresh air pleasantly touch his face.

As if playing with his appearance, Lox decided to open two buttons on his robe. It added lightness to his image, giving him a casual yet mysterious look.

The black robe against his pale face and violet eyes created an attractive contrast.

The words that ran through his mind might have seemed cocky or even arrogant, but Lox had never been modest.

He knew his power and magical abilities, and now that he was in Viola's guise, he felt even more confident.

His smile was a sort of mirror of his confidence and power. His eyes sparkled as if to hide the depths of his wisdom and experience.

He knew that his new body was not just a shell, but the key to new possibilities and destiny.

"Sexy" was a word Lox rarely used for himself, but it seemed fitting now.

He felt appealing, like the possessor of an irresistible attraction. And while his tricks might have gotten attention, he knew it was his power to seduce and manipulate.

However, despite all his confidence, he never forgot his goals.

"It's so beckoning to do sin with me," Lox thought with a smile.
