The Breakfast Incident

"Ahem," Hannah dry coughed, "Miss Brooke, not to place a damper on your plans, but I hope you realize that Master Grayson now has four new guests staying in the mansion. You won't be cooking for just one." She informed Brooke, when she looked at the ingredients laid out on the counter.

Brooke's initial excitement died down, she had completely forgotten she was the one who advocated for these people to stay.

"That isn't an issue," she psyched herself, "We still have a lot of time on our hands till breakfast time. We can do it!" She announced, already enlisting Hannah to help in the kitchen.

Hannah sighed, 'What a troublesome mistress I've picked up.' she thought, but once she saw the excitement beaming from Brooke's face, she dismissed the thought.

Rolling up her sleeves, she flexed her invisible biceps. "Of course! There's nothing we can't do!"

Brooke sighed in relief, at least with Hannah's help, she was sure to finish up.
