CHAPTER NINE

Under clear sky, on the roof top of academy,four people are present.

Kakashi is leaning against the rail, took out a book from his ninja pouch and started reading waiting for his genins to sit down.

This is a rather odd team with two girls and one boy.

Usual genin teams consist of Two boys and one girl.

"why don't you introduce yourself ?

blondie first you go"

Naruto wasn't expecting him to call her first.

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki.

my likes are ramen,seals and foxes.

I dislike emo's, snakes, perverts and judgemental people.

my hobbies are non of your business.

And dreams are personal, so I am not telling.

I am good at fuinjutsu and medicore in kenjutsu.

I am looking forward to work with you."

She is satisfied with her introduction.

not to exaggerated. Who knows what she will face in future ? Being modest is good rather than being overconfident.

Kakashi's, Sasuke's and Sakura's introduction are nothing out of expectation though.

then Kakashi left them after telling them about the real genin exam.

Naruto decided to learn more about the training ground for their exam before going home. Tomorrow will be the bell test. Or any test for teamwork. Naruto has decided not to show off too much of her abilities.

Naruto woke up at 5 am as their exam is at 6.

After finishing up her morning works she wore a fishnet t-shirt and tights. And orange jacket and orange shorts covering her rather well developed body.

After eating breakfast, she packed some dumplings in a bento box and sealed inside one of her storage scrolls.

She strapped Benihime to her back and left for the training ground.

Naruto is doubtful about Kakashi being there on time.

The only reason he showed up yesterday only ten minutes late because of her seals.

And his advice to not eat breakfast is not reassuring either.

She greeted an emo avenger and a fawning fangirl at the training ground.

After half an hour Naruto decided to talk.

"Hey I was thinking we should talk about this.

our sensei is Kakashi Hatake, copy ninja Kakashi Hatake, one of the best the village has to offer only next to hokage and on top of that he was an ex-anbu captain."

"Shut up you freak" ....."Sasuke kun don't pay attention to her." ... Sakura screeched.

God is she has been always this annoying !!!

"What are you trying to say?" Sasuke asked.

"I was collecting some information about him yesterday."..."about this exam."....."He hasn't passed a single genin team before."... "He gave his genins a test for teamwork and tried to pit against each other."....."At least that what I was able to collect from previous year genin teams.". "I think we should know about each other's abilities,in case we are given the same kind of test and we have to do teamwork to pass." ..... "And he has also a tardy personality with a habit of being late."

After some contemplation Sasuke noded.

"You go first."

"As I told you yesterday I am good at fuinjutsu and medicore in kenjutsu. I can do all the academic basics. I am also good at trap making. But I don't have any perticular taijutsu style all I do is rellay on brute force and speed so that's not gonna work on a jounin" Naruto told them.

"I am good at fire style ninjutsu and shuriken jutsu,I use interceptor style taijutsu." Sasuke told in a monotone.

When both of them looked at Sakura,she began to sweat. Because of Naruto showed her skills on fuinjutsu by freeing their sensei the other day, she couldn't even snort on Naruto's proclamation. Feeling useless,she told them,

"I am good at chakra control, academic basics and I use academic style taijutsu."

After an hour of waiting both Sasuke and Sakura 's stomach rumbled.

Hearing the sound Naruto turned to them.

"here I packed some dumplings."

"But sensei told us not to eat." Sakura screeched.

"No, he suggested us not to eat and besides he is late himself. I don't know about you but I rather through up than fight in empty stomach."

After some contemplation Sasuke accepted the bento and then Sakura followed.

atleast my first attempt of team bonding is a success.- Naruto thought.

Sasuke might be prideful and arrogant but not stupid. And Sakura also changed along with time. but by any means she is not trying to befriend them.

The only two person who she actually care about are hokage jiji and Hinata.

Maybe Kakashi in future, but that will depend on his actions.

This is not an fictional world anymore.

So she will do whatever she wants rather than following canon.

After 4 hours of waiting, Kakashi finally showed up.

"Yo."

"you are late!!!" Sakura screeched

"A black cat crossed my path so I have to take a long route to reach here."

"Any way, now that we all are here let's start the test. Here I have set this alarm clock. You have time till noon. All you need to do is get these bells from me."

He showed them two bells jiggling on his hips.

"But sensei there are only two bells." Sakura stuttered.

"Great observation Sakura. which means only two of you will be able to get the bells."

"And those who doesn't get any bell will be tied to the post and I will eat my lunch infront of you and finally will be sent back to academy."

"Now talking is over, let's begin the test."

The moment Kakashi said those words, Sasuke and Sakura dashed to hide.

Kakashi eyeing Naruto gave her an eye smile and asked"Naruto chan you are not hiding. A good ninja knows how to hide."

"there is no point in hiding from an ex-anbu captain like you. You will be able to find our position without much problem. And I never said I am a good ninja. Besides this is the famous bell test where the end goal is teamwork. So this way I will be able to give them time to regroup and cook up a plan.

Jiji used to tell me stories of his genin team."

Naruto spoke with a monotone.

"I see." ..... "So are you coming for me then ?"

saying that Kakashi took out his icha icha tactics and started reading.

With that Naruto's eye twitched.

"All right then sensei I take that all back. Now I don't care about test. But I suggest you to save your book." Naruto said in a sickly sweet tone.

Without wasting time she drawed her katana Benihime and dashed towards Kakashi.

"wise one" has deactivated the resistance seals.

But she has still her gravity seals on so she doesn't get to her full speed.

After some high-speed exchange of sword and kunai, Naruto changed tactics.

She jumped backwards and threw some paralysis tags towards Kakashi.

But Kakashi used substitution jutsu to get away.

Then she senses someone bellow and jumped away.

Kakashi has already putted his book away and seems to take this a little seriously.

immediately after that she send SEVERANCE towards Kakashi.

At the last moment Kakashi managed to pull off a substitution, but he didn't get unscathed.

There is blood dripping from his right arm.

"I managed to draw blood from a jounin. I think that's enough distraction for now. Next time I will aim the technique towards your balls if I see you ever read that porn in public."

With that Naruto sunshined away.

Kakashi Hatake has having his worst day of year.

From hokage sama he found that Naruto is a fuinjutsu prodigy and taken quite an interest in kenjutsu.

But then what's up with this speed!!!

She is going on easily at low to mid jounin level speed.

And those strikes, those are all aimed towards his vitals in aim to kill. She is wasting close to zero muscles moments.

Yesterday's experience taught Kakashi not to underestimate Naruto's fuinjutsu abilities.

So he used substitution jutsu to get away when Naruto threw her sealing tags.

He tried to pull off head hunter jutsu on her.

But she jumped away. And immediately swang her left hand.

If not for his honed battle instincts Kakashi would have lost his right arm !!! The place where he was present moments ago got split in half or should he say severed in half.

After giving him a warning for his life, The girl

sunshined away.

Surely he has having the worst day of his life.

He is damn sure the girl will carry out her threat if necessary. She has temper that reminded him of Kushina nee and at the same time scarily calm and calculative like Minato sensei.

The moment Kakashi explained about the test, Sasuke knew that he is trying to put them against eachother if Naruto's information is right that is. The true motive of the test is to see wheather they can work with eachother even against the odds or not.

Sasuke maybe prideful but not stupid.

Rather than popular believes Sasuke is rather observant. To see who has enough potential to test his strength against.

And in the entire academy he found a single person who can be his rival.

The said person is Naruto Uzumaki.

After the massacre, he threw himself to brutal training. But no matter what, she always won.

And now the girl is able to draw blood of their jounin sensei.

His pride hurts.

So rather than regrouping with Sakura while Naruto distracted their sensei, he decided to face the jounin himself and leaving Sakura by herself he went to make traps.

But later he paid the price.

He got buried in ground.

Sakura fainted in Kakashi's genjutsu.

And finally they failed the test.

Kakashi passed his team when they fed eachother while disobeying the orders.

After giving them the talk about the importance of teamwork and comrades he left them and went to report.

By the time he reached hokage office all the other jounins have already arrived.

"sorry I am late."

Hokage eyeing them, told to start their report.

"team 1 failed."

"team 2 failed."

"team 5 failed"

"team 7 passed"

"team 8 passed."

"team 10 passed"

"Now that's over everyone except Kakashi, Kurenai and Asuma are dismissed."

After finishing their report, Kurenai and Asuma left.

"Now Kakashi I am really interested how you manage to anger her. As much as I know,she is rather calm and rarely use violence. And by judging by that wound she was aiming for your arm." hokage asked in a cool voice.

"I was reading icha icha tactics infront of her while the test is going on." Kakashi said tears in his eyes.

"Then that's a fitting punishment for you I guess." Hokage told him with a chuckle.

After reporting about their test Kakashi went to the hospital to patch up his arm.
