Wedding Consummation

"Don't you like the music or the dance, prince Ciaran? I find it hard to enjoy it with you staring at me"

"I have an even better view before me. Why would I be bothered by a dance?" Orchid didn't mind his words and faced forward

After the dance, gifts were exchanged and the wedding came to an end. It was time for the third princess to leave Atlank

"I trust my daughter in your hands, prince Ciaran" King Gabriel said and Ciaran slightly bowed

"I-I wish to stay for Brenda's wedding" Orchid said. She wasn't ready to be alone with him yet, her heart felt uneasy. Ciaran smiled at her expression

"Nonsense child, you just got married. You should be leaving already with your husband to your new home. Do take care" Greta hurriedly said and she went back inside the hall along with King Gabriel

"Let's go?"

"I wish to have my handmaiden with me to Regalon" Orchid stated and this time a chuckle was heard

"So many wishes, my dear. But don't you worry, I'll be sure to grant them all"

The carriage was silent, orchid gazed out the window with both her hands rested on her lap. She felt all air almost leave her body as the knot tied around her waist was way too tight. She could feel Ciaran's eyes on her which made her squirm a little

"Come here" Ciaran, who noticed how she tried hard to breathe suddenly said and Orchid turned to face him, not hearing what he had said "Come here" he repeated

She blinked a couple of times and moved closer

"Closer" Ciaran said, an amused smile displayed on his lips. Once again, Orchid moved closer to him, her hand clutching the sides of her dress "Closer..."

"Prince Ciaran, this is the closer I can get" she said, trying to remain unfazed by his gaze. If she were to move any closer, she would have herself bumping into him

"Really?" he grabbed her hand rested at her sides and nudged her even more closer to him. Her chest meeting his

"Prince Ciaran -" his hand moved to her waist and a quiet gasp escaped her lips. A thought suddenly flashed into her head. Their wedding consummation

'But he couldn't possibly want to do it here right? We're in a carriage, he can't be that shameless"

"Prince Ci-"

"Shh..." he shushed her, his hand going to undo the strap that was tightly wrapped "There we go. It wasn't that hard now, was it?"

Orchid moved away from him with a hint of blush on her cheeks and she glued her back to the end of the carriage

Come to think of it, she actually felt relieved with the strap loosened

Her eyelids started to feel heavy, she tried to stay awake under the eyes of the devilish man besides her

But sleep came really fast and before she knew it, she was already asleep

Ciaran gazed at his wife

After what felt like forever, they finally arrived at Regalon. Orchid was amazed as she looked out the window. She didn't know when they had gotten to the palace as she was asleep

The royal carriage drove past the grand black gate and Orchid could very well see the palace. Unlike hers, this was way bigger, darker and more grand. They rode for a few more minutes before they came to a stop in front of the palace

The maids and butlers were lined outside as they welcomed the newlyweds. Getting down from his side, Ciaran moved to open the door for his wife. He held her hand and helped her down

Orchid glanced at the servants with a gentle smile as Ciaran led her inside

"Ahh. So you really did get married, without inviting anyone from Regalon. I thought this day would never come" King Mathias said with half a smile

"Greetings, King Mathias" Orchid greeted with a bow

"Rise, my dear. You look exhausted" King Mathias said and now that he said it, Orchid felt weak "Get some rest, dear. Getting married to him was tiring enough, talk more the journey"

Orchid nodded with a smile and was about to offer a bow when Ciaran tugged her hand and dragged her along with him

"What are you-"

"You shouldn't unnecessarily talk to anyone" he said, taking her up the grand stairs

"Unnecessarily? That was the King" Orchid gaped at him as she tried to meet his pace, he was walking too fast and was dragging her along "Hey, hold on-"

"I told you, don't just talk to anyone here. Not all of them may seem as they appear"
