Orchid blinked and came to reality when she felt a cool, spicy breath on hers. She gasped seeing the lad incredibly close to her. She stumbled backward but was caught by the handsome stranger

"Lost in a trance?"

"You..." he held her hand and she saw his eyes flickered "You're one of them. Let me go"

"Don't compare me to those damnable creatures. This is me in my true form, do I look like that thing you saw earlier?" he softly said, his grey eyes dipping red and going to meet hers

His eyes were the same as the creature, he definitely was one of them

"Your blood...has a nice fragrance, it's attractive. Probably why that demon was after you"

"And you?" she boldly asked

"Me? I won't deny it, the urge to feed on you is strong. Your blood is dangerous, don't just go around bleeding like this"
