Friends and Foes (Part 1)

Annabeth woke up. She saw Mr.Cruise was sitting in front of her. " Today lets go out and explore the Camp" said Mr.Cruise. Annabeth Got up and got dressed. She went outside with Mr.Cruise . Although she had gone out earlier to meet that old woman she never explored that camp. At first she saw some people shooting arrows . Some people were training for battle. Suddenly Mr.Cruise grasped hold of Annabeth's hand and pulled her to one side. "What happened ?!" Annabeth asked. "Look to your left" Mr.Cruise said . Annabeth saw a man who was more like a giant. Everyone immediately stopped whatever they were doing and gathered . Mr.Cruise said " his name is Mr.Jackson". Mr.Jackson called out Annabeth's name. " Go ahead he is calling you" said Mr.Cruise. Annabeth didn't want to go but she had no other choice. She stepped forward. "Annabeth is new to this camp please make her feel homely here" said Mr.Jackson. And with that he went away. Everyone went back to whatever work they were doing. Suddenly a boy of Annabeth's age came to her and said "Hi I am Scott". Annabeth stayed silent. "Can we be friends?". "I have no friends here because i have a power which everybody is afraid of" said Scott. "What power do you have?" Asked Annabeth. "I have powers to levitate objects" said Scott. "Why is everyone scared of it?" Asked Annabeth." I can't talk right now but in the evening meet me by this tree" Said Scott. "Sure I will think about that" Said Annabeth.
