2. Midnight Incident.

It's in the middle of the night, and the sky is still black. Ordinary people usually go to sleep but, a few people that can sense a thing called energy will not sleep tonight. Shin woke up at midnight because intense curse energy was leaking out of nowhere.

Shin didn't panic but, he remembered the manga he read. "Tonight, the King of Curse will come back to the world, huh?" Shin frowned since it was the second time he couldn't get a night of good sleep this week. Then, Shin, still wearing the same clothes as yesterday, walked out of his apartment. "Maybe I should get some bath after coming back," Shin said as he started his action.

Shin tracked the curse energy which led him to the school he mentioned yesterday. Shin looked around the school and saw two people standing on the pedestrian bridge. The school is also in a mess.

"That… Megumi and the vessel, right?" Shin said while trying to remember it. But Shin shooked his head since he needed to do something right now. Shin did a slight stretch and quickly jumped to Megumi's location.

We can see a black-haired boy with a simple appearance on the pedestrian bridge. He seems terrified of the incident that had happened in front of him. A spiky pink-haired boy was standing in front of him. He laughed as hard as he could. He seemed very happy for some reason.

He kept laughing and opened his arm widely. "HAHAHAHA, FINALLY! I AM FREE!" He smiled and looked at the black-haired boy. He looked like he was about to do something terrible to him. However, his plan stopped since he sensed someone with great speed coming to him.

And wow, a big explosion happened. *BAM* Someone landed beside him, he couldn't see who is he because of the smoke, but he knew this man was someone strong. He didn't scare or something. Instead, he was smiling widely, imagining how amazing when he tortured him.

Shin landed perfectly on the pedestrian bridge. He looked at the vessel; his aura was terrifying. Shin didn't even dare to blink since he felt he could die if he did it. Instead, the vessel smiled widely at him, making him annoyed for some reason.

Without even a second, the vessel dashed toward Shin with unbelievable speed. "Senpai!" Megumi looks worried. Shin sighed, raised his hand, and said. "Stop!" Suddenly, the vessel's movement was stopped directly without any delay.

It's one of Shin's abilities. It's called Stop, and it could stop everything he wants. Unlike a cursed word, Shin's ability can stop anything in front of him. But, of course, the duration depends on how strong the enemy is. He is fighting The Sukuna's Vessel, which could hold for a few seconds.

Shin dashed into the vessel without any delayed movement and gave him a roundhouse kick to his chin. That kick was strengthened with cursed energy but, Shin knew it was didn't enough to make the vessel knocked out.

In the opposites, Sukuna was in a daze. He was wondering how can this filthy human stopped him. Shin quickly returned to his position, and Sukuna moved his body again. Shin could stop Sukuna's movement for 2,7 seconds or less.

And it's enough to buy time since he knew someone would come here soon. "Come on, let's have tea time to celebrate your freedom," Shin said. Shin knew his word wouldn't do anything to her, but he worried if Sukuna attacked Megumi. So, at least he can distract Sukuna from Megumi.

But, Sukuna's reaction was different than he thought. Again, Sukuna, feeling mocked by Shin. Once again, he dashed with unbelievable speed to behind of Shin. Shin was quite surprised since Sukuna's speed was faster than before.

However, he didn't even need to use his ability to stop this guy. Shin raised his elbow, gave Sukuna an elbow on his chin, and continued with punch barrage before giving him a heavy punch. However is, is that easy? No.

Sukuna's smile was gone, and his expression was like a demon in the mythology book. "Enough." Then, Sukuna teleported and gave Shin a blow on his solar plexus. Shin didn't have time to react since it was teleportation, not walking or running.

Shin cursed himself since he didn't expect to make a fatal mistake. With such strength, Shin was knocked back inside the school. Sukuna expected Shin to faint since his attack was disastrous for a human-like him. Well, not that easy. The one he faced was the Genius from the Zennin clan. Not a random dude that was passing by.

On the other side, Shin breathed calmly and spat the blood out from his mouth while sitting on the ground inside the school. How can he be very calm? Well, it's because his task was already a success. A white-haired man with a blindfold could be seen standing right before him.

His appearance was similar to the man that usually goes to Ryuu's café at night. "How can you go buy a souvenir when your student is in danger?" Shin said while frowning. "Ahahaha, come on, you know my trait. Anyway, I didn't expect to see you here." Satoru said.

Satoru was a bit surprised since it's rare to see Shin step directly on some event like this. Shin took an interest in Yuuta Okkotsu but, he never stepped in to help him directly. He didn't even help him when Geto Suguru, his Ex-Partner, attacked us. Instead, Shin helped us by defeating some curse in the city. He did it on purpose to protect the citizen.

Shin knows Satoru is thinking something about him. Either it's in a positive way or negative. "Are you going to do something? You student probably has already killed." Shin didn't care about Satoru's thoughts about him. He wants to finish this thing quickly. "Alright, you must be a little patient." Satoru smiled and teleported in front of Sukuna since he wanted to finish this quickly.

Shin just thought something. "Actually, why did I come here in the first place? I will come out in the middle of Kyoto and Tokyo Jujutsu High arc." Shin mumbled. 'Now I feel like an idiotic person….' Shin quickly shook his head and watched how Satoru would act.

However, something unexpected happened. It shocked us since but not for me. "Wait, stop. What are you doing?" The Vessel said. Wait, should I call him Itadori Yuuji? That moment was a big surprise for Satoru and Megumi.

Before, he could kill the enemy by using his aura only, but his aura was gone without any trace. Looking with his own eyes, Satoru noticed Yuuji's potential and gave him a simple test. And it's about controlling the King of Curse, Sukuna.

It ends very well. But, Satoru knocked out Yuuji with his curse technique and made him fainted. "Now, what should we do?" Megumi asked. "Hmm, how about you? Shin?" Satoru and Megumi shifted their eyes on Shin, wanting to know his thought.

Shin didn't think about it too much. "Decide it by yourself. I am no longer a member of the Jujutsu Organisation." Shin waved his hand and left the place immediately since he didn't want to be spotted by someone in Jujutsu Organisation.

"Man, life is hard." I looked at my own body, and there were bruises on my stomach. Even though it's just one, bruises are still bruises. Shin sighed and decided to take a bath when he came back.

After walking for 15 minutes, Shin finally arrived at his apartment. Shin let out a sigh of relief. Many people look at him with weird expressions when he walks on the street because of his dirty clothes. Shin frowned by remembering it. Anyway, let the past pass. Let's enjoy the present.

Shin walked into the bathroom but, before that, Shin looked at the digital watch on his phone. It's still 2 AM. So, he better take a quick dip and spends the rest of his time doing some relaxing activities, such as reading a book, sleeping, or staring at the ceiling since he needs to go to school.

"Monday vibes are sucks," Shin said while taking a dip. Just thinking about the activity on Monday morning made him frown somehow. "Why? Monday to Sunday is very slow but, Sunday to Monday is fast. Is it a scam?" Shin said with deadpan expressions. Shin shooked his head since people might think he is crazy to speak by himself even though no one will hear him.

After a 15 minutes dip, Shin quickly wore his clothes and checked his phone. Shin just thought everyone on the Group Chat has already slept since it's the middle of the night. Well, almost all of them can wake up 24 hours without any rest.

Hina: Hello, hello, is anyone still awake?

Kona: Ooh, it's already 3 PM? Time sure flew very fast. I just finished my quest a few minutes ago.

Meliodas: You guys have a good time, huh? I just returned some welcoming gift to someone.

Shin was quite surprised since people still wake up at this hour. Well, it's not that surprising for him to see Meliodas wake up at this time since he is not an average human. But, Shin mentioned the girls.

Shin: It's pretty surprising to see a girl wake up in this hour.

Hina: It's not that surprising for a girl like us, you know?

Shin: What did you mean by "Like us"?

Hina: Glad you asked. It's an otaku girl! You cannot sleep at night because of many mangas, events, or newly released anime coming out. Especially a BL Anime&Manga!

Shin: Alright, you can stop. I don't want my brain cursed by your explanation.

Kona: Well, she got the point.

Meliodas: Now, Now, Now. I will go off since there are so many people in my bar.

Kona: Hmm, bar, huh? It reminds me of the sensation of a party after killing an Ice Dragon.

Shin keeps reading on Konata spitting everything about her NEET life. Shin didn't see Fubuki this night. Maybe she already slept? Well, not his problem. Shin enjoyed being in this group and also grateful. It may be just a few hours after he joins this group chat.

But, he is happy since he pressed "YES" yesterday. He might didn't know if this amazing thing existed if he pressed "NO" on the invitation. Well, being woke up by invitation is not that bad, huh?
