Chapter 19

Megumi is actually a 24 year old otaku who died while going home from work, when he died he actually just reincarnated again.

His father looked exactly like Toji Fushiguro from Jujutsu Kaisen but they hda different names.

While his mother had the same name and look as Chisato Hasegawa from another anime he watched.

After three months of just living his cheat finally arrived, it was a Gacha that would give him a pull every year he lives, and since this was his first year he got the Suke Suke no mi (Invisible fruit).

He was disappointed that he got probably the most useless fruit but then he remembered all of the things he could do while invisible.

Megumi had a really perverted mind just like all of the people who would find themselves in his situation, the think is that he genuinely believes that he is the main character of this world/

Basically he didn't really think of this as a real world and just thought of it as a world solely dedicated to him since he died in such an unfair way.

He put his invisible powers to good use, like spying on the maids taking baths and other perverted shit.

But there was one thing he didn't understand, his mother was showering him with love while his father was looking at him with cold eyes since he got out of his womb.

And the more time passed the colder his father's attitude towards him became. He didn't know the reason but he wanted to find out.

So he was in the single private room that Kenzou doesn't allow anyone to enter without his permission.

He was crawling on the ground looking around for something that will help him understand his father better.

Suddenly, the door opened revealing his father and Izana, another anime character from one of his favorites.

As soon as his father entered the room he frowned and sniffed the air a bit, he then looked exactly in his direction.

Megumi got chills on his back. 'Isn't my power working? He shouldn't be able to see me! Why is he looking directly at me?!'

Kenzou then started walking towards the invisible baby and put his hand forward.

While Megumi was frozen in shock Kenzou just grabbed the book that was on the ground next to him.

He looked at it and said. "This book was on the ground, I guess someone entered this room without my permission."

Izana sat down on the couch and said with a smile. "Who would dare? We all know what happened to that janitor whose curiosity got the better of him."

Kenzou put the book back on its shelf and said. "Who knows, maybe someone got curious again."

Izana waved his hand and said. "No way, after the example you gave to the staff I don't think anyone has the guts. Unless they are confident in getting away."

"I'll think about it later. Let's talk about the reason why I called you here."

That's right, Kenzou actually knew from the very beginning that Megumi was invisible in this room, even though he was surprised by this fact he played along and decided to just observe his behavior.

His five senses are so strong that he was able to sniff him out in the literal sense. And he thought that Izana could too, since he was the one who trained him and gave him those beastly senses.

If you are invisible it doesn't mean people can't find you, you still have a scent and your body is still functioning so hearing your breathing becomes easy if you don't know how to regulate it.

Kenzou couldn't just kill Megumi even though he was a potential threat, the ability to turn invisible isn't something he thought possible even in this world, he finally found the reason of his anxiousness.

(After that their conversation was the same as portrayed in the last chapter)

"Yea, she's not who she used to be. It's time to put her down, and then there's the fact that I want to see Megumi's reaction."

As soon as Megumi processed the conversation between these two he couldn't believe his ears, these two were actually planning to kill his mother, and one of the guys was his own father.

All for the reason that he was behaving weirdly. 'Shit! I was too careless! I should have known that this isn't some anime world! But these two are not right in the head either!

Instead of taking me to the doctor or something they plan on killing my mother to get a reaction out of me!'

Even though this was his second life he actually cared for his current mother, since in his last life he was an orphan who didn't receive any paternal love.

His brain went into overheat and started thinking about ways to save his mother, since he couldn't even talk and all he could do was crawl on the ground he couldn't really do anything.

The only ability he had was to turn himself or others invisible.

He couldn't do shit to save his mother with his power.

That's right. What could a three year old baby do when faced with the adversity of the second strongest creature on earth. Even though he is a reincarnated person with a gacha system he rolled a bad one on the first try and is pathetically weak.

Long story short, he was too weak to actually do anything.

Once he realized that he fell into despair.

Another thing Megumi failed to realize was that he was no longer invisible, it would be ridiculous if he could be invisible for hours on end without any training at all.

But Kenzou and Izana both played along with it even though Megumi's invisibility worn off. They could see the despair on his face but they decided to ignore it.

Kenzou got up and Izana got up after him. They started walking towards the exit while Kenzou said. "If only I used a condom maybe she wouldn't have to die."

Both Kenzou and Izana took a sneak glance at Megumi's face who was getting uglier, he was literally falling into the depths of despair right now, and those words added fuel to the fire.

After they got out of the room both Kenzou and Izana had sick smile on their faces. After they got to the other side of the mansion Izana burst out laughing. "HAHAHA! AAH!

I know I shouldn't laugh but it's too funny!

Did you see his face?! For someone who is able to turn invisible for a short period of time he sure is emotional"

"That's a fucked up reason to laugh, we don't even know what he is but he sure is emotional."

Ruthless, sadists and uncaring. Those are some of the traits that Kenzou and Izana share.

For them seeing someone who is akin to an alien make such a face is really fun. Kenzou had a theory about what Megumi could be but he wasn't sure.

He could be a super intelligent baby with psychic powers or other things, one of the options was reincarnation.

Anything could be possible at this point, since Kenzou arrived in this world by going to the toilet it's entirely possible for others to do so too.

But even though Kenzou was having fun fucking with that weird thing that's supposed to be his son he is actually somewhat sad.

He actually thought that he could live a normal life but one of his kids, and his main one at that had to be replaced by a foreign creature.

The most plausible thing he could think of is that the soul of his son was devoured by the soul of another person and that person replaced his son.

Which doesn't really make sense but at this point he's going with this. He certainly won't treat Megumi with actual care, he will most probably keep him around and if he doesn't show something more interesting than invisibility he'll kill him.

What he didn't really know this time is that the world was already about to change forever.

What actually no one knew was that Megumi wasn't the one who brainwashed Chisato, it was the system. It tremendously amplified her motherly love for Megumi since that will give him a better chance at survival.

But what the system miscalculated was the fact that the father of the kid didn't appreciate that gesture at all.

Chisato was in the room holding Megumi in her arms, until now Megumi tried to convince her mother to run away from here.

He tried to write down on a paper, babble words. But that still didn't work.

The little part of her normal personality that was still here refused to run away from her beloved.

The lights in the whole mansion cut off out of nowhere.

Chisato panicked and Megumi tried to say something but it just came out as cries.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

A lot of gunshots were heard throughout the mansion at the same time.

Chisato held tighter of Megumi and said with a soft expression. "Don't cry, mother is here for you."

He surprisingly managed to stop crying after hearing that.

The gunshots continued to be heard throughout the whole mansion and the door to the room they were currently in was smashed open.

Megumi instinctively activated his ability making both himself and his mother invisible.

Three men with masks on their faces and machine guns entered the room.

The one in the front looked around and said. "There's no one here, but orders are still orders. We have to shoot all of the rooms in the mansion."

They started randomly shooting around emptying a whole magazine.

After that they stopped and left the room searching for another room to riddle with holes.

Chisato was holding her baby to her chest while her back was faced to those shooters.

8 bullet holes dripping with blood could be seen on her back, but none of them were on her child.

Megumi had a horrified expression on his face seeing her mouther in that state.

*COUGH* *COUGH*

She coughed out blood and smiled softly to Megumi. "M-mommy will g-go to sleep for a w-while."

Tears started rolling down Megumi's eyes while his face showed unwillingness and denial.

He couldn't believe that she really died.

Chisato looked behind Megumi and her eyes widened.

It was Kenzou standing in the shadows, you could only see the shadow of his face and his green eyes.

Even though he was the one who decided to kill his first girlfriend he had and the second woman he cared the most in his life, he still felt a little bad for her having to die.

So he decided to witness her final moments as his way to pay respect, he could very easily be fucking another woman with no care for her. But the thought of that left a bad taste in his mouth so he decided to watch her death.

Even though you could only see his eyes Chisato could tell that he was looking at her with disappointment.

Only after being on the verge of death and seeing that the one she truly loved the most was standing right in front of her not doing anything regarding her state the effects of her brainwashing worn off.

Megumi couldn't notice the changes in his mother's expression since he was in denial.

She started crying and saying 'I'm sorry. I'm sorry.' over and over again.

Kenzou's face softened and he looked down at her with understanding. He could tell exactly what happened with her but it was too late, even though he deeply cared for her he always puts his priorities first and keeps on that cold mask all of the time.

Kenzou showed himself just enough so that Chisato can see his face and said lip synced. 'You're forgiven, you can die in peace.'

Her eyes widened and then she repeated while crying again. 'Thank you.'

Megumi was totally oblivious to what happened between the two of them since he was experiencing the first stage of grief.

Kenzou turned around and his expression returned to it's usual cold one. He let his true emotions show a little bit since he was paying his respects in his own way to everything she did for him until now.
