Chapter 12

Kenzou drove to an abandoned parking lot he knew in town, as soon as they arrived in the parking lot Kenzou and Izana got out of the car.

They walked away from the car and stood 3 meters away from each other.

Kenzou crossed his arms and said. "Do you know what's one of your big flaws?"

Izana looked at him with his confused face and said. "What is it?"

"You play too much with your opponents, I'm not saying that you shouldn't play with those weaker than you but when it comes to people near your strength you should fight as seriously as you can."

"I see, I'll make sure to remember this."

Kenzou put his hands in his pocket and said. "Well, it won't solve anything if you don't solve your problems yourself so that's the only thing I'm going to tell you.

But I did promise to make you stronger didn't I?"

*BAM*

As soon as he finished speaking he was in front of Izana with his hands still in his pocket, he kicked Izana in the chin using the ability to attack unseen.

Kenzou, pulled his attacks back so Izana doesn't die. After all even with his unusual strength he still is somewhat skinny.

*WHOOSH*

Izana got dizzy but he still sent a kick towards Kenzou's head.

*BAM*

Kenzou leaned backwards and again kicked Izana in the chin.

Kenzou then jumped backwards one meter away from Izana who looked like he was about to fall to the ground.

"Izana-kun, you have a talent in reading someone's moves. But what will you do if I am too fast for you to see?"

Izana started to think of ways to predict his attacks with his talent, the answer was sound.

*BAM*

Kenzou again came near him and kicked him in the stomach this time. Izana had his hands under his chin being ready to block the attack, he did hear a sound when Kenzou attacked but it was somewhat quiet.

Izana fell to the his knees coughing saliva.

Kenzou was looking down at Izana with his usual apathetic expression. "Come on, it's not an answer you would expect since it's something that usually only animals have. We abandoned on this a long time ago but it is important if you want to be able to counter me."

Izana looked up and thought. 'Something that animals have and we abandoned?'

He didn't get time to think since Kenzou put on leg under his torso and launched Izana upwards.

Izana was launched three meters up in the air and he regained his balance up in the air.

"Come on, what do animals have and we used to have?"

Izana's brain went into a thinking mode like it probably never did in his life.

He opened his mouth and said absentmindedly. "Wildness."

Kenzou's eyes widened and he smiled under his mask. "You are correct, but how exactly will you tap into that wilderness? It exists in all humans but we abandoned it the more we evolved."

"I... I don't know."

"Well that's why I'm here. I have a few ways to awaken this wilderness in you."

Kenzou again arrived in front of Izana and kicked him in the chin.

After he continued to fight with him for almost an hour Izana started to become tired, he fell to the ground gasping for air while Kenzou was standing up on his feet with no signs of fatigue.

Kenzou looked at Izana with a pitiful face and said. "That's it? I thought you would be able to achieve more, with how things are going I will have to kill Mikey myself."

As soon as he heard the last part of the sentence Izana's eyes became bloodshot and he looked at Kenzou with a nasty glare. "He's mine! Don't you dare touch him!"

Kenzou stomped him on the head and said. "You? Do you think you stand a chance against him with your pitiful strength? Dream on."

He turned around and said. "I'll go kill him right now so we can solve this once for all.

Izana felt like he was about to burst from anger, his body instinctively moved at speeds he never achieved before and he launched towards Kenzou.

Kenzou looked back at him with a surprised expression and did nothing, Izana took advantage of this situation and bit him in the neck.

After he got a good bite he jumped off of him while barely standing on his feet, his hands were dangling from exhaustion and he said with a scary voice. "He's mine! He's mine to kill! He took everything away from me!"

Kenzou had a sick smile on his face under that mask and he started laughing "Heh... Hehe...

It's exactly as I thought...

HAAH! HAHAHA! HAAH!

Haah, haah, haah."

He looked at Izana with creepier eyes than usual "I've hit the jackpot this time, now everything is in place...

Phew... calm down there's still shit I need to do. Plus there's the fact that I'm bleeding."

He took his mask off and put it on the place where he was bit.

He looked at Izana's confused expression and he said. "All I did until now was to bring your wilderness to surface, and it looks like I succeeded on the first day."

"So you won't steal my kill?"

"No, your revenge is yours only and I have no right to come in between you and him. But I still am satisfied with the result, you took me by surprise and even managed to injure me."

He saw that Izana calmed down and that he was about to pass out from exhaustion. "It's okay, you can pass out. I'll take care of you."

Izana went unconscious when he received the confirmation and fell to the ground.

What Kenzou did today was a gamble, simple curiosity about another theory he had. It looks like he was successful, that's the reason why he was so happy.

Another thing he realized is that he was a better teacher than the ogre, he kind of found it satisfying to see the results in something he put work in. 'So this is what teacher felt when he was fighting Baki. Proud in his work and excited to finally fight an 'equal.''

Actually, Kenzou for the past week tried to rile Izana up somehow, he pulled some strings behind the scenes and created situation that would amplify his emotions.

That doesn't sound like something a friend would do but Kenzou actually considered Izana his friend, in his own unique way of thinking of course.

But now he has to turn that wilderness into predatory instinct, something that's actually harder to do since he isn't sure whether Izana has something he wants to protect with his life.

But Kenzou decided that for now this is enough, if Izana can master that wilderness in him and actually use it he might become a force to be reckoned with in the warrior part of the world.

He decided to not go to a hospital since then only rumors will spread about him being somehow injured in a fight.

He grabbed Izana with one hand and put him over his shoulder. "Seriously, what's up with these fighting geniuses in this world. But I can't say I dislike it, this just makes things more exciting."

Kenzou arrived at home while carrying Izana, he left him on the couch and went towards Chisato who was cooking something.

He went and grabbed her waist from behind.

She flinched a little because she couldn't tell when Kenzou arrived behind her, she looked back and saw Kenzou with a small smirk on his face.

She smiled and said. "What happened? You look happy."

"Yea, something finally went exactly how I wanted. Of course I am happy."

He pulled her body against his and kissed her deeply, after he was done he left her out of breath.

"Cook for three since I dragged Izana with me."

Those words went right past her ears because she saw the wound on his neck. "What happened to your neck?"

"Didn't you hear? I said I brought Izana home with me. And this is the reason why I'm so happy too. He's finally starting to mold into a fighter I desire."

"So you trained him and it showed immediate results?"

"Yes."

"That's nice, but you can't leave your wound like this. It might get infected."

As soon as she finished speaking she leaned in and licked his wound, she started sucking on it like a vampire and when she was done she looked at Kenzou with blood all over her lips and said while licking her lips. "It tastes better than I imagined."

Kenzou looked at her weirdly and said. "I don't really like the taste of blood to be honest."

She giggled and said. "Everyone has their own tastes."

Kenzou noticed a somewhat worried expression on her face so he said. "What's wrong?"

"Well...

There are rumors of you and me dating and let's just say that a lot of people got curious."

Kenzou's whole mood instantly became serious, his face went from playful to apathetic real quick. "We'll have to make our relationship public so they will know not to mess with you, I won't take your opinion on this. We are making it public."

"I understand, I think it's a good idea too."

"And you will stop working there, I will just buy you a company or something if you really want to work, a school is just too much of a public space where people can get in and out."

"I was thinking about that too, so I came up with an idea."

"Really? What idea?"

"Let's open a construction company, since it is a little easier than opening most of them."

Kenzou started to think about it. He too had experience in working in a construction company since his father had one, he knows how things work so he can pass down his knowledge to Chisato.

"Good idea, I actually know quite a lot about construction companies. And I think you won't be mad if I make it the base of Tenjiku since they have to start from somewhere. And who knows maybe one day Izana will reach his goal of controlling all of the darkness in Japan."

She hugged him tighter and said. "I won't be mad but do you really think he will be able to do it?"

"If he puts his mind into it and starts trusting me more I am sure that someday he will achieve his goal, but right now he's too weak to go toe to toe with the strongest Yakuza in Japan."

He actually had a fight with Hanayama, the strongest yakuza and he won. But the guy was very polite in his mannerism and all, overall a very likeable person. But Izana is still weak compared to Hanayama.

Even though Izana managed to injure him it was only because Kenzou was surprised by the fast development he had. Otherwise he would have easily pummeled him to the ground.

The only problem Kenzou found in Izana is that he's already 18 so for him to grow strength will be a little harder.

But other than that he was very good at everything he does, he has people in Tenjiku that can help him make money and are already doing so. They even have schemers that try and make up plans that will help them rule all of Japan's underworld in the future.

They are becoming more of a crime syndicate rather than a bunch of kids playing as gangsters.

Kenzou sat on a chair and looked at Izana who looked like he was about to wake up.

As Izana woke up he held his head from pain and started looking around.

He saw Kenzou sitting on a chair with his legs crossed looking at him with his usual stoic expression.

Izana got up on his butt and said. "Why are we here? Aren't you supposed to train me."

"I did, you managed to bring out the wilderness I was talking about, now everything is on yourself."

"Does that mean I've become stronger?"

Kenzou looked him in the eyes and said. "Not quite, you have more room to grow now. You have to adapt the mentality and behavior of a predator, which you did until now so it will be easier. All you have to do is think less with your head and trust your instincts."

"What do yo-"

He didn't get to finish his sentence because Kenzou was in front of him aiming his leg towards Izana's chin.

Izana felt the danger but he have the time to respond to the attack, all he could do was pull his chin backwards so he could minimize the damage.

*BAM*

The kick connected but the damage was minimalized. Izana was just a little bit dizzy, other than that he just had a graze because the damage wasn't done much to the chin as it was to the skin.

The cut he had on his chin was very thin and sharp.

He looked at Kenzou and said. "It was different this time, it was like I could feel the danger in what was coming without even seeing the attack."

Kenzou went back on his chair and said. "That's what I was aiming for at the start, this predatory sense of danger and with your ability do predict someone's move and counter them will turn you into someone who not a single delinquent in Japan will be able to defeat.

And that's just the first stage of the type of mastery you are going to learn."

Izana understood what Kenzou was speaking about, some time ago Kenzou babbled about all they types of masteries there can be and the already existent ones.

Izana, even though he knew Kenzou only for a week he had to say that he was a people's person, his charisma and the fact that he is well-spoken won't ever make you think he is a delinquent. He was starting to see him as one of his true friends since they hang out almost everyday.

Actually it's Kenzou who forces Izana to hang out with him since Kenzou is bored almost everyday. And he even got to see another part of Kenzou, most people would assume that his eyes are just fully black but that's not true, his actual eye color is green and they just look black because his pupils are always very dilated.

The one time he saw his eyes when his pupils weren't dilated was when he saw him sleeping with his open or when he's not that serious.

Kenzou developed a kind of habit of sleeping with his eyes semi-opened when he is around people so he can get awake easily if something were to happen, even though this creeps the other people out.

Kenzou himself slowly started to become the better version of himself, even though he still thinks the same he at least shows emotion from time to time.

Chisato called them to eat and while they were eating Kenzou received a phone call.

"Mister Tokugawa, another fight this week?"

"Yes, but this time you'll be fighting with an audience."

Kenzou thought about it for a while and then he said. "No problem, who am I fighting this time."

"Baki wanted a rematch."

Kenzou was surprised since he expected Baki to turn into a vegetable after his fight with him or at least crippled.

"Didn't he suffer heavy injuries?"

"He did, but he somehow managed to heal at an alarming rate and he's become even stronger."

"I see, it happened exactly as I expected."

"Excuse me?"

"No...it's nothing, when is the fight?"

"Baki said you can choose the date since there's no rush."

"Tomorrow evening at 8. That's the best time for a big fight."

"Then I'll pass the word onto him."

"Bye."

After that Kenzou closed the call and said to the two out of three people he trusts in this world. "Want to watch me fight seriously?"
