She's Crazy

*Just before helping Chen Mei*

Brandon was currently running through the forest, dodging the trees that crossed his path. He noticed that there was a lot of green blood scattered around the forest.

"This seems to be cricket blood. The group passed through here a while ago." He kept running, but soon stopped and without thinking, began to jump between the branches of the trees to reach the top of one.

He stood still and looked ahead, where he could see hundreds of bees surrounding a group of people.

He observed silently from the top. Unlike before, his senses were sharper, and he was sure he wouldn't need to use the emergency tactic to escape.

He thought the group would perish, but was surprised when a shield of sorts was formed, using six flags as a base. The guards and students attacked from within, but it seemed that it wouldn't last long before the barrier broke.

He continued watching with excitement, but his face soon changed. He didn't have time when the barrier made a kind of explosion that sent a shock wave that allowed the students to run.

Some of the bees fell near where he was, so they located him and started to attack. Only a few of them attacked him as they saw him as an individual, so they decided to chase the group.

Brandon easily killed many of the bees that approached him. These were only basic level bees, and if a few of the medium level bees appeared, he would just use his thunder power to deal with them just as easily.

After exterminating the bees, he found 6 cores which he put in his pocket.

He was about to leave, but he could hear some bees fighting someone, so he decided to lend a helping hand. When he arrived, he stood on a tree branch and watched.

The one fighting the bees was Chen Mei, but it wasn't going very well for her. He didn't waste time and immediately launched himself forward while slicing one of the bees in half.

He caught Chen Mei's body before she hit the ground. She was covered in superficial wounds. Her skin was soft but seemed quite strong.

Some of her attributes were visible in the tears of her clothes. He moved his power through her body, reaching her core, and ordered the AI. "Activate the healing protocol."

[Healing protocol initiated]

[Elimination of toxins... Eliminated]

[Stable body]

He had talked to Luzbel to develop medical abilities to provide services. They had designed many ways to use their powers to interfere with others.

Brandon deactivated his ability, and some sweat drops started to run down his forehead. His ability consumed much more if he tried to use it on others.

After finishing, he watched Chen Mei for a while. She really had a figure to envy. "If it weren't for her mental problems," he sighed.

Chen Mei slowly began to open her eyes and found a face looking down at her. She was surprised and opened her eyes wider and noticed Brandon.

She was currently lying on his legs. "What have you done, pervert? Did you try to take advantage while I was injured?"

Brandon was surprised, realizing he hadn't put on his mask again. He just slapped his forehead and replied, "Your mental problems are more serious than I thought."

"Who are you calling crazy?" she responded angrily.

"I came and saved you, and you don't even say thank you. If I had known it would end like this, I would have left you as food for the bees."

He got up from the ground without moving her from his legs, which made Chen Mei's body fall to the ground.

"Ugh, at least tell me you'll get up," her eyes were watery, they had never treated her like this before.

"You'll have to take care of me, don't shirk your responsibility, you've already touched where you shouldn't have."

"What are you talking about?" he was even more confused this time.

"Don't play innocent, my chest is healed. I'm sure you took advantage and rubbed some potion on me," she said as she covered herself with her hands.

Brandon was perplexed. It was true that he had healed her, but he used his ability, not a potion. He couldn't explain it since his ability was 'technical' to others, not medical, so he preferred to leave it at that.

"How do you plan on paying?"

She didn't expect this question. She had no way of paying currently, unless she went back to school and looked for something of value.

Thinking about what to give him, some perverted thoughts came to her mind, making her blush.

Brandon noticed this, so before she could come up with any of her crazy ideas, he said, "That bracelet, it looks special. What is it?"

Chen Mei looked at her bracelet, then at Brandon and said, "It's a bracelet with a dimensional expansion, but it also has a deep meaning in our family."

"I want it," this was his chance to get a dimensional expansion, he was already tired of carrying a backpack.

She thought about it for a moment, and as she did, her face turned red again, which made Brandon more sure that she must have some mental problem.

"This bracelet has a heavy burden, are you willing to carry it?" she asked.

Brandon didn't hesitate and smiled as he answered, "Whatever burden it may be, I can bear it."

Chen Mei took off the bracelet and handed it to him. Brandon looked at the bracelet for a moment and then put it on with a smile.

"Well, our paths diverge from here," said Brandon.

"Wait," she grabbed him by the wrist and said,

"When I finish my school period, I will look for you and introduce you to my family for our wedding," she said with a slightly timid voice.

"Wedding? When did I agree to marry you?" he put on an expression of disbelief.

Chen Mei looked at him astonished and said, "You said you could handle any weight, the weight of the bracelet is that you can only give it to the person you will marry. That person, in turn, cannot remove the bracelet until after the wedding." She replied.

Brandon's mind could no longer keep up with what this girl was saying. He thought about it and preferred to return the bracelet, although it would be good to join a great faction like the Chens, he would not join by marrying this crazy girl.

He tried to remove the bracelet, but it wouldn't come off his hand.

Brandon was astonished, what had he gotten himself into this time? "Was existence conspiring against him? Was this the price for all the luck he had recently obtained?"

She had used a camouflage ability to escape the complicated situation. He didn't know she could do such things, furthermore, why did she decide to marry that boy?

The most astonished one was Brandon, who was still thinking about what he had gotten himself into. Even after being kissed, he didn't come out of such a daze.

Brandon reacted and sighed. When he thought about the kiss he received, his heart raced. Shaking his head, he thought, "Why do I feel this way? Do I like her?... Impossible, I would never like that crazy girl."

He took a leap and got lost in the forest.
