Rukia's Fate

"Ichigo dodge!" Rukia shouted as her sword slashed straight downwards. Seeing the sword that was coming to slash him into two, Ichigo twisted his upper body towards his right and managed to barely dodge Rukia's strike and countered by lifting his katana up and aiming it towards Rukia's throat.

Sensing the incoming strike Rukia slammed her right leg on the ground and pushed herself back immediately to avoid the attack before charging in again with another blow.

Today was the third day of their training together and Kisuke who was observing them from a distance couldn't help but nod. Since the moment Rukia entered the gigai that he had offered to her in order to better recuperate her powers, she was unable to leave it and hence she could be called a weaker version of a Shinigami, someone who would be perfect for exchanging swords with Ichigo.

The sword which Rukia was currently using was given to her by Kisuke because of how low her Shinigami powers were. Kisuke continued to watch the two exchange their swords while thinking of some matters in his own mind regarding what the future had to hold.

Just like that a week passed and with the passing of each practice session Ichigo and Rukia bonded well with each other but Ichigo made sure to keep their relationship out of the comfortable one as shared by the original couple because comfort was the killer of desire in a woman's heart.

As for Orihime, she had been stuck with Yoruichi all this while as her training pace slowed down because of her meeting a plateau in her training. Yoruichi advised her to keep on meditating and try to discover the source of her body's hesitation to improve itself further.

The reason for her plateau was simply because of the uncertainty in her heart with regard to Ichigo, after the night they had spent together she felt that Ichigo had been focusing less on her and was slowly drifting apart from her but she was worrying for nothing. The sudden involvement of Kisuke had reminded him that Rukia was going to get captured pretty soon and he would be requested to rescue her by Kisuku or Yoruichi.

Currently, all the training he was doing with Rukia and Kisuke from time to time was helping him build an excellent foundation which the original Ichigo had to crash course his way through in only ten days. He was confident in doing better than him if he unlocked his soul reaper powers and the key to it lay with Kisuke.

"Rukia, should we start with my training?" Ichigo asked Rukia who was standing outside in the backyard of the shop looking at the blue cloudy sky as several memories were flowing through her mind.

"O-oh, Yes, I'll be there in the underground facility in a minute," Rukia said to Ichigo as she turned back to gaze at the sky.

Ichigo looked at her weirdly but do as he was told. Rukia stood there a bit longer as she murmured to herself while looking at the cloudy sky while the wind played with the strands of her hair as if trying to comfort her for the tribulations that she was about to experience, "Why do I have this sudden strong premonition?"

Ichigo could clearly feel the lack of strength behind Rukia's strikes today and could see that her mind was clearly not into it but he didn't point it out to her so that she could clear her mind during this time.

After finishing the training, Ichigo was walking with Orihime back to her house to drop her off while thinking about Rukia's behaviour in her mind. He felt like today might be the day that she would be taken to the soul society so he was preparing his mind for the training that waited for him from tomorrow onwards.

Seeing Ichigo who was walking with her completely immersed in his thoughts Orihime couldn't help but bit her lips as her heart couldn't help but grow more insecure. She grabbed Ichigo's hand to attract his attention as she looked at him in his eyes with her worried eyes.

Ichigo was wakened from his stupor because of the warm and soft sensation that Orihime's hands carried as he looked at her.

"Ichigo…What have you been thinking about?" Orihime asked while smiling but her eyes reflected a sense of melancholy that got hidden in the darkness.

"Just the future, how things will play out for all of us and how we will react to it," Ichigo told her.

Orihime heard his words and after thinking over it for a while couldn't help but ask, "I-In this future that you're thinking about…is there a space for me?"

"Of course, there is. What made you ask something like that even?... Remember this Orihime, no matter what happens, you'll always be mine Orihime, you understand that?" Ichigo stopped in his steps to look into Orihime's worry-filled eyes properly and assured her that her worries were baseless.

Hearing Ichigo's words and making him call her his, Orihime couldn't help but feel the doubts in her heart dissipating as she reached for Ichigo's lips and pressed hers on them. Ichigo soon separated from her but the message in his eyes was easy for her to interpret which was, 'Let's continue this at your house,"

The two soon reached the apartment and Ichigo turned around to close the door while Orihime removed her earrings so as for them to not get in the way of her pleasure seeking. While doing so, she saw the portrait of her elder brother and thinking of something she made it face down in an embarrassed manner before turning towards Ichigo who was coming already loosening up his shirt.

The two bodies tangled over each other passionately while exchanging all sorts of fluids with each other and this intense exchange continued for a few hours before the two finally couldn't go on any longer and went to sleep unaware of the encounter that Rukia was currently having.

"So Rukia, Are you coming back with us while we are still kind or do you want us to force it on you?" Renji asked Rukia in a serious manner.

Rukia had been feeling terrible today and she had no clue about why it was like that. Unable to sleep, she decided to go on a night walk but encountered Renji and her brother Byakuya who suddenly blocked her path.

The premonition she was having the whole day suddenly made sense to her and she could only thank her lucky stars that she was outside when they caught sight of her otherwise she might have incriminated Urahara san along with her.

"…I'll come," Rukia said as she knew that she couldn't run away from this any longer as the three of them entered the Tatami door that Renji opened up with his Zanpakto and entered the soul society.
