In the streets of neverfal the wind blew with raging fury, dunes of sand surrounded the bustling city yet this city in the middle of a desert was spotless, one could only wonder why such a phenomenon was occurring.

The answer was simple, one word: magic.

The denizens of the world of Pan were not strangers to the phenomena around them, though only mages could use magic the common populace could only look up to the mystic overlords.

"Stop please I'm begging you" Blaine screamed at the top of his lungs unable to withstand the pain he was being put through he could only look up in horror as his torturer who proudly called themselves mage apprentices continued to play with his life.

This was his third time being bullied by these people this week. Blaine had just awakened his magic core a month ago and was accepted into the most prestigious mage academy in the country: Blackgate, the school was known to raise the most powerful mages of each generation.

The top 3 students of his class, those were his bullies, students who got here because of the power of their magic and family connection unlike him who was here because of of his smarts.

It was common knowledge that high born mages hated the common populace.

Among high born mage circles they were collectively called commoners. Unlike them commoners actually needed the academy's support for magic crystals and spell books.

For the high born mages it was more like a way to build connections between mage families.

"Please..." Blaine continued to cry weakly, the mental exhaustion was getting to him, he felt like he was about to pass out.

"It seems like he's had enough", Jake said, he was the leader of this group of bullies.

Those were the top three students of his class.

They just walked, leaving him bleeding in the bathroom where he was assaulted.

Blaine felt relief as they walked out of they bathroom,he slowly crawled towards the wall of the bathroom to lean his back but he failed to notice the footsteps behind him.

*Bang*

Blaine suddenly felt his world spin, he was loosing consciousness. His head had been violently stomped on!

He was losing a lot of blood from the crack that had been created in his skull.

Before Blaine passed out he was able to hear the word of his attacker.

"Damn commoners always bleeding and blocking door with their useless bodies"

His attacker just walked out like he had done nothing wrong.

He was just stepping on some random cockroach.

No, in his attacker's eyes Blaine was probably less than a cockroach.

This was Blaine's everyday life since he had arrived at Blackgate

He was trash even amongst his fellow commoners.

He had almost zero magic talent if not for his scholarship he would not have been able to get into such a Special school.

But it seems like this was more of a curse than a blessing.
