Chapter 1.2 Regrets

Light was born with everything, a decent household , intelligence, beauty, respect .

He had everything anyone could dream of .

But he wanted more .

Then came the Death note in his hands ,and he lost it all .

For the first time in his life and afterlife he regrets something.

He regrets how he took his family for granted , how he took his respect and intelligence for nothing.

He took L, Matsuda ,Aizawa , Sayu and Misa for nothing.

And it broke his heart .

Why was he so blind ?

Light only heard a familiar voice .

Was it Ryuk or Rem ??

He doesn't care anymore .

Before he could sulk more he heard the voice speak to him.

" Thank you Yagami , for your sins were grave enough to give us Shinigami life and purpose .

For we are meant to take life and punish them , for we have not done so in millennias.
