Chapter 4, Ressurection.

Light was honestly so pissed at Kira, this is the 24th time he got a heart attack at school .

Can't I catch a break for once ??

He thought as he cleaned the blood from his mouth and threw it in the trash.

He's sure that kira was near him or something because no way can they guess every little place and time that he's alone .

It's like they have my school schedule written down and memorized.

Is kira a stalker ?

Light thought as he cleaned his face off and walked back to class.

" Raito are you okay ?

You look sick. "

Asked yet another concerned teacher for the 54th time.

" I'm fine Ms. "

Light said in the tone he used to trick others and the teacher reluctantly continued to teach her lesson.

Soichiro knows that something was up with L.

He didn't know what exactly but he will investigate as soon as this kira case

Is over.

He saw his son enter their home with a smile , but Soichiro can smell blood somewhere on him.

Light wasn't getting bullied, that's something Soichiro knew and believed in 100% .

So why is the smell of blood on my son ?

Was he harming himself at school ?

Soichiro thought with worry as he decided to investigate .

As he followed his son upstairs and at the door Light fell onto the ground.

Soichiro immediately caught his son from falling on the floor .

" Light !

Light are you okay ?! "

No response , just blood was spilling from his mouth.

Soichiro immediately went to check his pulse .

His pulse was gone .

His son wasn't breathing .

" LIGHT !!"

Sayu knew something was up with Light lately .

He was always coughing lately and was looking sickly .

As she walked home from school she saw a hospital fly by .

Getting worried she ran home only to find her mother crying .

" Mom what happened ?!"

" It's Light... H-he's ...

He's gone "

And Sayu cried.

I lost him .

Light never felt so soft before , the bed was much better than normal.

He heard a quiet beeping sounds thinking it was his alarm and reached out to get it.

" A miracle !

It's a miracle !!"

Said some weird voices in a muffled tone.

" Go check his vitals quickly and call their families !"

Light was confused.

Where am I ?

As he slowly opened his eyes he saw a group of doctors surrounding him.

" Welcome back world of the living kid. "

And horror filled him.

Kira !!

They must have killed me when one of my family was present !

As much as Light wanted to lash out he knew he had a role to play .

By their perspective he was a kid who somehow rose from the dead .

" W-what happened ?"

" You were gone for 15 hours kid "

15 hours ?!

" 15 hours ?! "

Light almost puked as he felt his body removing the fluid from his body.

" 15 ... 15 hours ?"

" Yes .

It's a miracle your even alive ."

Light couldn't believe it .

15 hours ...

I was dead for 15 hours .

As he looked around the hospital he noticed that some nurses were looking at him weirdly.

He felt uncomfortable and looked at the nurses with a suspecting look.

Is one of them Kira ?

The nurses than felt horror in their bodies and ran away .

" Why were they looking at me like that ?"

Light asked quietly and the doctor sighed.

" They wanted to experiment on you and tried to take some blood samples .

I stopped them of course so you don't have to worry kid. "

Light was terrified.

They tried to experiment on me ?!

Just like you experimented on your victims .

Light shook his head a bit .

" I want my family..."

" Their on their way kid ."

And the doctor fell .

" Sir ?!

SIR ?!"

Soichiro couldn't believe it , his son was alive .

As he stepped out of the car he saw a group of nurses cowering in fear.

" That kid should have stayed dead !

He's a monster !"

Soichiro almost saw red.

" What do you mean by that ? "

" C-chief !"

The nurses slowly regained their composure.

" That... that kid wasn't breathing ... His heart was ruptured yet it somehow healed itself !"

Soichiro was in shock .

What ?

" Where is my son ?"

" Room 468 ! "

He then immediately ran to that room and slammed the door open .

Only to find the doctor dead on the ground and Light crying heavily at it's side.

" Light !!"

" DAD !!"

Soichiro hugged his son , and he hugged back .

" Dad !

I-it was K-kira !

T-they killed him dad !!"

Soichiro held his son close .

" It's going to be okay son. "

I hope so ...

Light kept crying in his arms , his skin was slowly regaining it's colour.

Whoever Kira is , I'll make them pay for hurting my son .

But for now he needs to help him calm down.

Light was never meant to see a corpse like that.

To see life fade from a person's eyes...

Is a fate worse than death .

L was spitting his tea out .

Light-kun's alive ?!

Tears of joy left his eyes .

He saw the camera of the hospital he hacked in , seeing Light move his body .

" Light-kun's alive !!"

He got up from his chair and grabbed his luggage before throwing it in his private jet's trunk .

" Watari we're going to Japan !"

Watari smiled and nodded.

" Of course L "

L needs to see with his own eyes , he needs to see if Light is still breathing .

He needed to see him.

Light was ambushed by Sayu and his mom when he got home .

" Light !

You're okay !!"

Light cried in his sister's and mother's arms , holding her tight.

" My son returned to me... "

His mother cried as she dragged them inside .

" I was so scared Light !

I thought I was going to be left alone !"

" Sayu I'd never leave you alone like that."

Not after when you left her paralyzed Kira.

Light shook his head .

Get out of my head !

Why though ?

This is my head too Kira .

This isn't your head and I'm not Kira !!

But you killer all those people , all those lives are lost because of you.

I'm not Kira !

GET OUT !!!!

" Light ?"

" Y-yes Sayu ?"

" You were spacing out , are you okay ??"

" I'm as okay as I can be right now, I'll be fine."

Sayu looked as if she doubted that but she was too happy to care.

" I hope so ...

We thought we lost you !"

Light sighed and held her sister close .

" I promise you I'll stay here..

If I'm not here who will protect you ?"

Soon the family went inside, just in time to watch the news .

" Breaking News !!

It seems that our own Yagami Raito rose from the dead !

We have a journalist from where our smartest student resided .

And how is it over there ? "

The T.V screen changed to the hospital where Light just exited from.

" It is a miracle !

We are talking to one of the nurses here and ma'am, can you tell us what you've witnessed ?"

The screen now showed a nurse who was a little paranoid .

The journalist had to calm her down and repeatedly tell her that Kira wasn't here and she wouldn't be harmed .

" T-that kid just moved his hand out of nowhere!

His h-"

Before the nurse can finish talking she fell dead on the ground.

Horror filled the journalist and the camera was cut off.

Light was trembling .

She died because of you

She died because of Kira , Kira probably didn't want the public to know how I managed to live .

You are kira, we-

No !

You are Kira , I am not you and will never be Kira !

Light thought and rubbed his head.

" I...I think I need a break..."

Sayu and Sachiko nodded.

" Yeah...If you need something you can call us."

Light smiled a little and nodded.

" I will ."

He went into his room to find it absolutely baby proofed.

What the hell ?!
