I had the money for my revenge and life establishment project. However I now just had to wait on paperwork, buy the facilities and then more paperwork. I took a puff of my cigarette, for now since I was waiting anyway. I would take Murim, Valeria and Enna in a dungeon.
I flicked my cigarette bud to the ground and stomped on it. I rarely smoked, but I had to admit. It was habit simply because I was dying. I had no worries about lung cancer since realistically bran cancer was worse. When I became Dionysus I hadn't really thought about how that would effect my habits. However as it turned out Dionysus was a smoker. She had a few packs hidden in her office.
I looked up at 3 kids. Well I guess they weren't really kids, all of them were around 20. I spoke breaking them from their conversation. "Hey, setting some ground rules. If I tell you to leave or not to touch something you do it."
They nodded, and I analyzed them. I did my research on theses three. My payment for taking these three in a dungeon of appropriate level was the rights to 2 dungeons. One was low-level of my Uncle's choice. Another was of my choice.
The three kids made no reaction to my words, which meant they likely got dressed down before this. I nodded, "Good, seems you know. Let's begin, I know this kids information. What about you two."
I pointed at Enna as the person I knew the powers of. Despite me knowing the powers of both Murim and Valeria. Valeria responded, "Well, Aunt Dionysus. I am a mage, since I am a coppermancer. While Murim, he is a martial artists."
Oof, Aunt? I used Aunt as an insult towards my father's second wife. However getting called it, I couldn't help but looked at my cousin in strangeness. I started with correcting, "I'm not your Aunt I'm your cousin. So just Dionysus is fine. Second why are you a mage?"
This time she looked strangely and Murim responded. "She's a mancer? So why would sh-"
Enna interrupted for me, "The Lady didn't ask you!"
I nodded and Murim frowned slightly. His eyes showed a hint of something. I couldn't identify it, so I just continued. "Valeria's...Physique. She has a smaller frame, with good legs. If she worked on footwork, well, you should get the idea Valeria."
She nodded and Murim also took a pause. He tapped her elbow, and spoke in a hush tone. "I told you so." I heard it though, it seemed he tried to be barely audible.
I rolled my eyes, "Look it doesn't matter anyway. Valeria will be rearguard anyway, while Murim and Enna take the front."
Murim pointed at Enna, "Isn't she a Support?"
I frowned at the kid, but shifted it into an explanation. "Enna won't be climbing the tower in a party. She will be going up it Solo. Which means she has to learn to fight."
Enna smiled with all her loyalty, "I will do anything you ask of my Lady! Uh, though..." I patted her shoulder, I knew she was hesitant with climbing the tower alone. I had been talking to her about it. Thankfully this girl's loyalty was almost obsessive.
With that all settled and me not wanting to talk more I led the three into the dungeon. With that they got into positions and I began watching them. Valeria took out 5 copper blades, while Murim to my surprise took out twin one-handed hammers. An unusual weapon for his skills. Specially since I checked his status and knew he had swordsmanship and Pugilism.
For Enna's part she took out a shield. I recall it was from her father. A simple gift he bought for her. Enna, moved to block something. It was almost like she blocked an arrow? I watched as they moved forward, I noticed something was wrong. I turned back to the gate to the dungeon and it was still open. I scoffed and shouted, "EXIST THE DUNGEON NOW!"
They all jumped, while confused they ran back. The moment they stepped out I saw an enemy that was way stronger than anything the kids could handle. It didn't matter right now and I existed the dungeon. I pointed to Valeria, "Dungeon rank, and incidents list now."
She jumped, and Murim responded instead incorrectly. "Why did we leave?"
I rolled my eyes, "The question kid. If you don't have the answer I don't mind letting you die in there."
They all looked a little shocked. Enna though followed my directions, "Here I pulled it up on my phone!"
I rubbed her head, "Good Girl, Enna." I looked it over and I noted everything I expected to be there. I sighed, "Valeria call your Uncle and tell him to reschedule or something. For the payment I want this dungeon, but I want it now and no one can enter."
Valeria and Murim both had questions and they both tried to voice them. I cut them off, "You want an answer, fine. That..." I pointed behind me.
Continuing, "That is a Kindergarten." I rotated Enna's phone to face them. "The dungeon is rated as 3rd tier. Except cited incidents have awakener's above that dying. The incident's mark them as scuffle's between awakeners. However under the comments it mentions that awakeners blamed invisible monsters."
I sighed when I could see they didn't understand. The possibility of people not knowing what a Kindergarten is popped in my mind. I explained, "A Kindergarten is a type of monster. It creates hallucinations that have the abilities to kill the affected. This would also explain how the dungeon had multiple elite monsters. Now are you getting the picture? or do you need more."
Murim was about to ask more, but Valeria just responded in submission. "I understand. I will call dad and tell him. I hope you know he will likely come here if this is that serious."
If Terra really didn't know what a Kindergarten was it really would be serious. More than anyone would know. However I had a feeling that Kindergartens were just on the list of rare monsters that weren't well known yet.
On Earth Kindergarten's only became blown up and well known after a very, very special Kindergarten popped up. Kindergartens normally created waves of enemies that would slowly sort out a party by differences. Like making different monsters based on whether they were a mage or not. When we entered the dungeon the kids saw monsters. I however didn't.
The reason was simple, I was far more different than the other three. I paused and motioned to the three. "One of you go back to the restriction line and tell the workers there to get the association as well. I am gonna investigate the dungeon."
Murim finally seemed to snap, "What the hell! We came here to train today."
I looked at him and shook my head. As much as I wanted to kill the kid and take his body for my own uses. I couldn't let him be stupid and either become fertilizer for a Kindergarten or cause me a headache because he does something else.
I grabbed his shoulder and a i placed a pressure on him. He dropped to his knees and blood dripped from his nose as he went limp. "You happy with the training I just gave you?"
Valeria rushed to his side, "What did you do?"
I told her simply, "A lesson he won't forget."
I walked into the dungeon to investigate.
--------
When my Lady entered the Dungeon again Valeria's face twisted. "I can't believe she did that. Does she think Uncle won't tell her off? There's know way he's gonna keep the deal after this."
Valeria seemed to acted more brazen when she was around her peers. I was about to defend my lady, but Murim seemed to recover.
Murim stammered out, "She is way stronger than Uncle, Val. Know not just stronger, Uncle has used level pressure on me during training... That was...."
Valeria rubbed his back, "I'm sure Uncle just held back unlike Aunt Dionysus."
I frowned, "You are a bitch behind people's backs."
Valeria raised an eyebrow, "What you gonna report it to 'your lady'?" Valeria was about to mock me more, but to my surprise Murim grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back.
He apolgized, "I'm sorry Enna! Me and Val, we are just protective of each other." Murim whispered something in Valeria's ear and she frowned.
"I don't believe it! There's no way! Mu, she..." Valeria looked at my frown and Murim's seriousness. "I'm sorry Enna."
I expressed my discomfort, "You called her your Aunt, Lady Dyn is not your Aunt. She is your cousin, and perhaps my lady isn't that close to you. However she is still respected as a... Huh, actually I guess she isn't her previous rank."
Murim looked over at me, "What was her rank?"
I paused and shrugged, i guess it didn't matter about sharing it. It was public anyway. "She was C+ Awakening with a 5th Tier Rating. So she could easily pass as B awakener."
Murim shook his head, he mumbled something, but I didn't hear it. I remembered what my lady told us. I would ask for the association, so I left the two alone.
