Chapter 25: Learning chakra control

Everyone went into the jungle eventually sorted their abdominal issues, and were prepared to see what Feng had in store for them with regards to the days training exercise, Feng sat down with his legs crossed over each other, this time maintaining a demeanor of seriousness.

"Why is he looking so serious today, this is the first time I've seen him not looking nonchalant" Bryan whispered.

"I can hear you so shut up and sit down, do not interrupt the process" Feng replied with his eyes closed

Everyone could feel a strange distortion in the air whenever they came close to Feng it felt like the air aiund him had solidified, and become tangible, but at the same time was still intangible, there seemed to be no sensible explanation for the phenomenon, Feng eventually opened his eyes and stood up, be then proceeded to walk towards a tree whose trunk seemed to be even larget than the one Klaus spent an entire night and morning punching through, and slapped his pain on it, a loud bang was heard and a very large hole was seen in the tree trunk, no one could believe what they had just seen, he blew open a hole in the tree with his palm, what was most shocking was the fact that he applied only minimal force to his action and it produced such a result.

"How possible is it for a human to do that with one hit" Klaus asked

"Follow me you'd find out, I still need to show you guys one more thing" Feng replied and started walking towards the hills where there were a lot of boulders, he walked towards one of the boulders and flicked his middle finger slightly, the moment his finger came in contact with the boulder it exploded into numerous pieces.

Feng turned around with a smile and began addressing the group, "what I just displayed now is called chakra control, it gives you absolute control over your body, muscles, nerves and bones, with proper control you can make even you muscles harder than a diamond whenever you like, you can vibrate the air around you and also create defensive pulses to block off attacks, but this would be a topic for another day, right now none of you have an inkling of how to activate our chakra, we would be starting with that first"

Chen remembered his system having something like that but it still seemed to be locked and could not be used, the system in his head came on again and he viewed to confirm his thoughts, he saw that chakra control was indeed in his system but was greyed out, he focused on the notification icon and found out that he didn't have the proper foundation yet to make use of the ability.

Feng sat down and asked the others to emulate his sitting posture, after they complied he asked them to close their eyes and practice the breathing techniques they had been practicing during their meditations, while trying to picture a floating red ball at their spine area.

After a few hours it still seemed like no one was getting a hang of it, including Feng who thought that his system would be an added after advantage towards learning chakra control.

Feng was beginning to lose his patience but decided to hold his annoyance in since, he felt he had been unfair to them in the past week, he decided to explain the whole process to them first before they could resume the training.

"Chakra control is something that has been passed on to every monk or disciple living in the temple, we hardly teach it to outsiders, you should be grateful for this opportunity and grab it with both hands, there are seven chakra points but for now I would be talking about the first chakra point alone, it is located around the lower parts of your spine area, if you focus rightly you would see a translucent red orb spinning slowly in your mind eye, with proper breathing techniques everyday and physical training, you can eventually unlock the first chakra point, it is called the root, remember how you were easily beaten by pan? Feng said while nodding towards klaus, that was because he had already unlocked his first chakra point, it enhances speed, strength, durability and endurance, you would be able to perform at three times the capacity of an average human, I know you guys are slightly enhanced compare to the average human but you are still weak, if you engage anyone with an understanding of only the first chakra point, all of you would lose miserably, every human being was born with a chakra point, but what really matters is if, and how they control it, let's try it again"

They closed their eyes again and tried focusing on the so called translucent red orb Feng talked about but they still couldn't get it, Chen was already getting frustrated with the whole exercise.

"Is there any other way to do this, I have tried everything, but I still can't seem to understand the whole concept," Chen asked

"There is no other way, this is the way we were taught and this is the way our predecessors were taught, if only you could clear your mind and focus properly, pan got this dine before he was eight, how difficult could it be for six grown men? Let's pack it up we'd continue with this tomorrow" Feng said looking at the sky, the sun had begun to set and it was getting darker with every passing minute

Chen was not still satisfied but he decided not to argue anymore and went towards the pond area, he might not have succeeded in today's training but he was sure he would get a hang of it the next day.

Feng leapt up to one of the branches of a tree, and began to observe his surroundings, one would wonder why he always liked being on a tree but no one dared ask the question.

Klaus totally ignored everyone and went towards another tree where he sat down and closed his eyes, he was determined to learn chakra control before the end of the day.
