Chapter 1: The beginning
Three strange beings stood at the crib of a newly born baby, the infinite one could predict that this child was indeed the one that would complete the task.
In all of chen's life he has never been the underdog, he was never bullied he never did lack anything, he did notice though that people seemed to avoid him whenever he got angry, he remembered almost killing a fellow student once in a fit of rage.
Chen after seeing how hard it was to fit in, decided to join the army.
Present day
After a very tedious work out session chen decided to clean up and head to work,
"don't mind the papers I haven't cleaned up yet" his secretary called at him while he was heading into the office. He saw that the king enterprises has still not given up on trying to buy his company and the annoying headache that has been plaguing him since his teenage age was at it again.
"jane… where are my meds he shouted"
" check the top drawer she replied"
Looking at the bulk load of work, chen decided to take the day off and hang out with some of his friends who he met in the military.
He asked his secretary to book an appointment with his friends.
Entering the club chen wiggled his way past the numerous bodies of people to get to his table at the vip section.
He could hear bryan ribbing victor about his new hair cut
"you're jobless that why you always have the time to get a new hair cut" victor replied
"says someone who works as a janitor in a middle school" bryan fired back
Times like this reminded chen of their times in the deserted countries during the wars where they had to tell jokes to ease themselves during missions.
He ignored them and went to exchange pleasantries with Klaus, romeo, and prince
They ordered drinks and were having a good time when chen noticed that he was starting to feel a bit woozy, and everything was beginning to darken. Then he passed out.
Chen woke up and found himself unable to move, looking down he saw that he was chained to the wall at both his hands and feet.
" where are we and why are we in chains" romeo asked
"hey! Chen hope you didn't kill anyone this time" Klaus said trying to lighten up the mood
The door was kicked open and chen saw the highlights of a bulky man coming through the door.
"who is that" bryan asked
'my name is the king and I am here to acquire your company" he said pointing at chen
Chen looked up at the king and laughed
"and why would I hand it over to you?" chen asked
Chen saw the king stand up, then he felt a very sharp pain at the side of the head and he blacked out
Chen woke up again with his ears ringing and his head banging. He could feel blood trickling down his nose.
"so would you be signing the company over to me now or do I cause you more pain" the king asked
Chen spat out blood and replied the king "I'd rather die than handover the company to you"
"just sign the papers over" prince shouted
Chen shook his head and kept on being silent
"is he deaf or mute" victor asked
The king having gotten tired of them he asked the thugs with him to tie them up and drive them into a lake
That was the last thing chen head before being knocked out again
Chen could feel his lungs burning but he couldn't move he tried to scream but the pain was too much and his mouth was taped shut chen knew this was the end of the road for him and he embraced the darkness
[system activated]

Chen didn't understand what was going on, he knew he was meant to be dead but what was this game like interface he was seeing, he decided that he had nothing to lose and selected the yes option
[option accepted]
[congratulations you have become death]
Chen was not understanding the pop up notifications he was seeing in his head what does it mean that I have become death
[would you like to revive the dead]
[yes no]
At this point chen was confused revive the dead, which dead he asked
[would you like to revive the dead]
[yes, no]
Chen decided that this system was just as monotonous as other systems and once again he picked the yes option
[congratulations you have chosen your reapers]
[you have 5/5 reapers]
[your reapers answer to you alone]
[reapers will have 50% of whatever stat you acquire]
[you can summon a reaper at any time and you can go to the location of any reaper instantly]
[has a cool down effect of 20hrs]
Chen was still wondering what the hell reapers were when he heard another notification sound
[System reboot will start now]
Chen woke up with a start and started coughing up water immediately he found it very hard to breathe the first thing he noticed was that he was in a metal like box, he then figured that he was in a morgue he rolled over so he was laying on his stomach and he pushed at the panel at his head and it refused to budge then he applied a little more force and pushed again and the panel flew towards the other end of the room chen was surprised at and jumped down from the box holding him in
Chen heard chattering at the other end of the room and was wondering who was in the morgue with him he also noticed that he could see perfectly at night like he did during the day but he was still feeling dizzy
"where are we and how can you guys still see me" victor asked looking shocked he was touching himself all over trying to be certain if it was real
"what are you doing idiot" bryan asked him is it not obvious we are alive but the truth is I don't still understand how we are alive
"if that is what death felt like I never want to die again" romeo said
Who knew drowning could be so painful chen said, I felt like my lungs were on fire.
"where are prince and Klaus" chen asked
"they are still in shock over the fact that we are still alive romeo replied
"I think they are shy since we are all naked" victor said
I wonder where we could get clothes thought chen, gather around boys let's get clothes and get out of here chen said
"seems like you read my mind" Klaus replied
They waited patiently till some nurses came to drop off some other dead people and Klaus, romeo and chen jumped the nurses the nurses were too shocked to react because they did not understand how people could get into the morgue without authorization and why they were naked
The nurses were eventually subdued and knocked out after stealing their clothes chen asked the bryan, prince and victor to stay behind and watch over the unconscious nurses so they could go out and get more clothes for them to wear so they could leave the hospital
"we were so lucky that the nurses that came over were male nurses" Klaus said
"I'm not sure how I would fit into a woman's cloth" chen replied
Chen moved faster and eventually saw a doctor going into his office and used his foot to wedge the door before it shut close then he proceeded to knock the doctor out and take his clothes, card and keys
The group returned to the others and handed them the clothes and they sneaked out of the hospital into the underground parking lot chen pushed one of the buttons on the key and found the car of the doctor whose keys he had stolen
"seems like we have gotten ourselves a ride" victor said
"but how are we going to fit in" prince replied
Chen was not in the mood to listen to whatever they had to say so he moved towards the vehicle and started it
"are you guys getting in or not" chen asked and when they all got into the chen drove off
"where do we go from here" romeo asked
Chen thought of it for a while and the chose to go to his secretary's house
"we would go to jane's house then after than we would decide where to go from there" chen said
"chen would you like to explain what happened and how we are still alive because I feel connected to you and I have the impulse to always obey your command since my resurrection" prince asked
"I kind of feel like i am jesus Christ" victor said
Chen then explained what he saw and what happened during the period he was dead to them
"if I didn't find myself alive after that ordeal I would never have believe what you just told us" Klaus said
"well It happened to me and is till cant wrap my head around it" repled chen
When they got to jane's apartment chen knocked on the door and waited, jane open the door and screamed in surprise.
"how are you guys still alive" she asked
"beats me too" chen replied
Please can we go in and discuss chen asked jane at that moment he received another notification.
