Chapter 20: The man named W

After Damian had finished dressing her fingers, he took care of his bitten lip with her help but got a call in between.

The caller ID was 'W' and he knew who it was but never thought he would get the call at such time so he excused himself from there and answered the call.

After a while, he walked back into the room.

"I need to go somewhere. The driver will take you home now." He said but she felt hesitant to let him go.

"But..."

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nevermind." She said and he left. She felt a bit sad that he was leaving. "Why did I feel reluctant to let him leave? Is it because he's suddenly nice?" She asked and looked at her fingers. They were all bandaged. Although it hurt, it was still a reminder if Damian's sudden change.

Damian got to his own car, which he left in the company in case of such emergencies. He got into the car and called 'W' but there was no response. He dropped the phone and hit the gear.
