CH. 1 Death

Pant, Pant

"Where the hell am I?!" shouted a man as he was running with his best speed. Running as fast as he could, the man slowly turned a little to looks back behind him. "Why are you still following me!?" shouted the man.

As behind him was a huge tiger in the size of a truck, running and trying to catch him. "Roars!" Hearing the sounds of the roar, the man knew that it was like a reply to his question. "I know that you understands me!" shouted the man as he keeps running.

"SO! Let bygone be bygone!" shouted the man as he trying to turns to looks at the tiger behind. "ROARS!" Somehow, after saying his words this time. The roars was louder and sounds angrier. Knowing from the sound of the roar, the man knew that he has no other choice than to run as fast he could.

"Ah!" From a far, the man suddenly saw something. "Cave!" shouted the man with a smile as he knew that he could go in and hide there as the entrance of the cave was small for the tiger. Taking in a deep breath, the man sprints toward the cave with no hesitation as the Tiger also changes its speed to catch the man.

Hearing the roar from the tiger, the man knew that the tiger was now not far from him. Using and pushing all his strength into his body. He sprints as fast as he could throughout his life and jumped into the cave without hesitation.

As it was to determine his life and death. However luck was on his side this time. He successfully jumped into the cave and rounds on the ground like a ball and entered the cave.

Seeing that its prey went into the cave, the huge tiger was furious and swiped its claw at the entrance of the cave with all its might. However to no afford, the cave didn't collapse or did the entrance changes. After a few minutes of trying, the huge tiger finally stops and settle down in front of the cave instead.

Seeing the action of the Tiger, the man was both furious and shocked. "If you can't enter!? Why don't you just give up!" shouted the man as he look outside of the cave and saw that the tiger was waiting by the entrance.

Feeling hopeless, the man decided to thinks about escaping the tiger later, as he was so tired and hungry. Sitting down on the ground, the man or Shin placed his hands down as he was exhausted from the running.

"Eh?" As Shin puts his hands down on the ground like a person with no energy. He felt something on his left hand. Turning his head to look at his left side. Shin was shocked and slowly moves even though he had no energy left.

As the things in front of him was like a ray of light in darkness. Feeling of displeasure and hopelessness disappeared from him. He even felt that God has not abandon him yet. Using his left hand and touch the object.

"Devil Fruit!" screamed Shin as he touch the spiral pattern on the surface of the fruit. "It's real!" Holding the fruit toward him, Shin pens his mouth without hesitation and eats the fruit in due to both the state of hunger and greed.

Biting down on the fruit and tasting it. Shin uses both of his hands to closes his mouth and try to swallow the fruit down, even though he really wanted to vomit. Slowly trying to swallow and trying to calm down.

After a few minutes, Shin has finally swallow down the fruit. He stands up from the ground and grin devilishly. Reaching out his hands and close his eyes trying to feel the power inside him. Shin took in a deep breath and shouted out loud.

"Come Power!" shouted Shin. Silence filled the whole caves as nothing happen. Seeing that there was no sign of action happening. "Or maybe it could be a Zoan!" thought Shin and again. He closes hie eyes and shouts out loud.

"Transform!" shouted Shin as he looks at the changes of his body. However, to his disappointment there was no changes at all. "What the hell!" shouted Shin as he was now both angry and worry, but somehow he didn't gives up and try others method.

After a few minutes of trying, Shin was leaning by the wall of the cave in despair as he finally noticed something. "Of all the fruit and power I could get! Why did I get the fruit with no power!" shouted Shin and looks down on the ground in frustration.

Time skip - One week

The sun was shining brightly as the shines across the world. The winds was also blowing silently through the forest. Animals live in harmony and the sea was being pushed by the breeze and created a wave.

Everything was perfectly peaceful with no sign of sadness or despair in it. Even the huge tiger with a size of a truck was sleeping quietly in front of a cave with no sign of violence.

However, as everything was peaceful. There was bad happening as inside the cave. A man was sitting there, alone in the cave. The man was skinny and his body was dry as if he was a corpse. His eyes was dull and there was no life in it.

'Is this the end!' thought the man as he looks at the ceiling of the cave. It has been a week since he arrived in this place, with no food or water. 'This is the end' thought the man as he could feels that his hunger was gone.

The pain in his body was gone as well. There was also no feeling of touching anything. Slowly, the man could also feels that he was losing his power and energy. Drowning into the eternal darkness. The man slowly closes his eyes as he falls into a the embrace of the darkness once again.
