After the battle, I left returning to my house I appeared a little girl jumped into my chest.

Artenyx: "You were awesome papa you took down blue lady the bad monkey and the big bad robots," she said jumping up and down on me while I carefully navigated to the couch to sit down.

"And the tv has been talking all about how you helped their Justice League" looking at tv I was more or less right but change 'helped the League' to 'bailed out the League'. watching the footage they showed the Justice League getting their ass handed to them until I arrived.

~"where was Green Lantern, the Flash, and where was Superman the man of steel he's been missing for the past few weeks and still not a blue-red blur to be seen in the sky"~

This was getting out of hand if the Justice League can't find him I needed to, as I sat thinking of a plan I heard a *crack* looking up at Artenyx who also looked around looking for the source of the noise we heard another

then it hit me like a pillow to the face.

Me/Artenyx: "The Eggs!!!" I carried Artenyx to where the eggs were in the web pouch and looked inside, sure enough, both eggs were wiggling and multiple cracks could be seen forming.

What felt like hours later the eggs finally opened and two small balls appeared one was covered in black fur with glowing yellow eyes, the other was a fed squishy ball with 3 bulbs on its head and two eyes.

"looks like Superman's going to have to wait a little longer" the two small balls looked up at me.

POV 3rd person

Location: S.H.E.I.L.D HQ

Fury: "Can anyone explain to me how this is possible?" he referred to the scene in front of everyone, the battle of Metropolis specifically the ending minutes of nightfury's battle with the mechs.

the multiple agents around the room look befuddled for lack of a better term as no one had an answer to Nick Fury's question that was until the door to the room opened revealing Natasha Romanoff the Black Widow

Natasha: "The reports we got from Hawkeye mentioned new pieces of gear on him including the one on his arm which seems to be the one responsible." she said plugging in a data chip into the table which activated the inbuilt projector.

"From what he's seen so far Nightfury has multiple new weapons" multiple images of nightfury from different angles show his multiple weapons.

Fury: "Do we know anything at all about these new weapons?" Natasha shook her head and leaned on the table.

Natasha: "He never used them against anyone and he barely needs to" the images began to move some showing nightfury taking down thugs and crooks from the shadows.

"he's not that bad either but he needs more experience" and Fury nodded at that.

Felix Blake: "Excuse me sir but why are we hung up on Nightfury when we should be talking about the elephant in the room!" Felix blake a commanding officer stood irritated by the sudden fixation on the hero.

"This entire incident was a distraction" Blake touched the table with multiple videos of different attacks going on across the United States.

Coulson: "Central City, Metropolis, Los Angeles and Chicago and more, they hit every target you can think of from Star Labs to Queen industry's." the videos got pinned to points on a map of the United States.

Fury: "Any leads on what the true target was?" Fury's eye does not leave Felix who is still standing.

Coulson: "From what my team has been able to acquire we believe the target was the blueprint for. . . .badassium" the room fell silent as everyone looked to Coulson except Natasha and Fury.

Felix Blake: "I'm sorry what the hell is badassium?"

Coulson: "it's a long story but let's just say that it can turn a regular generator into something that can power a city block." many had shocked faces at the news.

"And we believe that it will be used in Project M.O.D.O.K"

Natasha: "But we still have no idea what this project entails" on the table projected the map of known or suspected A.I.M bases in the U.S. "But we have an idea of where their headquarters are based.

Felix Blake: "Then what's our strategy of taking A.I.M down" Felix sat down leaning forward in his chair. "if we wait too long their project could already be accomplished." many in the room agreed with the sentiment.

Fury: "For now I've assigned Hawkeye to go Scout things out in the meantime I want everyone on standby until then dismissed." everyone leaves the room except Colson and Natasha.

Coulson: "So what's the plan boss?"

Fury: "The plan is to build a team to infiltrate the A.I.M HQ" on Que multiple images of different costumed heroes appeared some with their real names and identity next to them others just their aliases.

"And stop whatever A.I.M is trying to accomplish with Project M.O.D.O.K"

Natasha: "I see you have already made a list of candidates for this mission" she looked over the images and raised an eyebrow " I hope you don't expect all of them to accept."

Fury: "Given the right. . .push I expect most to consider the offer" his eye now looking over the hologram.

POV Max

Location: Penthouse

After spending time and playing with my new Digimon I put them and Artenyx to bed so that I could start looking for Superman, and after a trip to Metropolis and looking for information on the internet I found very little. I paced back and forth trying to figure out how to find the man of steel, having already tried using his sense of smell to track him only lead me to his apartment and the daily planet.

"Come on just think the last real sighting of Sups was during the battle with Nanobite," I recalled seeing him there but after that nothing so what happened.

[Well what would you do after fighting a monster like Nanobite?]

"Well, I would want to know more about it so I would try to study it so. . .!!!"

[You got an idea?]

"Just a theory but what if he took a sample of Nanobite back to the fortress of solitude for his A.I to study." heck I suspected any organization with a hint of a brain cell would do that.

[Well what would that intel give someone?]

"First they would have an answer to the world's pollution crisis and have a major head start in micro-robotics" I sat down letting myself relax.

"But Sups doesn't need that he has super advance tech so he would want to know more about it and to do that he could use Nanobite to figure out where it comes from and. . ." my train of thought stopped at the station remembering what happens a group of heroes who did the same thing.

"He ended up like the fantastic four didn't he" I jumped up from my couch and opened my system and equipped my [Nightfury amor] and equipment.

[And it has been quite a few days we can assume Superman is without his powers thanks to the environment] I curse under my breath [I suggest you start your such in the savage lands since they are closest to the fortresses of solitude, and most likely were he went to.]

I nodded my head as I was about to leave tge mission popped up and I accepted it before teleporting into the Atlantic before heading South.
