Full-Armored Serven vs. Metallo

Metropolis

At the LexCorp event, when Lex Luthor was being held hostage by Metallo, two beams of golden light tore through the air. The surrounding air even distorted, and an attack capable of piercing an aircraft carrier was rapidly approaching Metallo.

Metallo's detection system issued a warning, and the thrusters hidden on his body suddenly activated, carrying him away from the danger. The two streams of golden light passed by him, but even so, they grazed the mechanical arm that was holding Lex, damaging it with the golden particle flow. This gave Lex a chance to escape.

Despite his luxurious lifestyle, Lex never slackened in his training. His physical fitness was even better than that of most athletes. Coupled with Metallo's concern for the attacker who had ambushed him, Lex managed to escape in front of Metallo's eyes.

"Who is it?" Metallo didn't have time to catch Lex as his computational system determined the origin of the golden particle streams in less than a second. He turned to face the person who had just pulled the trigger.

Standing before Metallo was a figure in red armor, with a raised section on the helmet and orange V-shaped optical goggles staring directly at Metallo's armor. This armored figure had two highly futuristic multifunctional rifles on his back, and he held two hand-cannon-like weapons emitting white smoke. Two long knives were strapped to his waist like the last line of defense.

Metallo's first impression of this armored figure was that he possessed tremendous firepower. After searching briefly through his database, Metallo found a figure with a similar appearance.

"Are you Superman's sidekick, the one they call Ultraman?"

Many people in Metropolis knew that Superman had recently acquired a sidekick who liked to wear enhanced armor, including Metallo, who sought revenge against Superman and Lex Luthor for various reasons.

However, what surprised him was that the "Ultraman" standing before him was different from what he had seen in intelligence reports.

"..."

Jericho did not respond to Metallo. He silently discarded the "cluster beam" he had just fired with golden high-energy Spazium particles and handed the two weapons to Oya for retrieval.

The US-03S set did not have weapons like Spazium blades, light slashes, or laser beams like the US-02U. Instead, it featured thicker armor, enhanced close-quarters combat capabilities and agility, and served as an experimental platform for future armored weapons.

The recently fired "cluster beam" was one of the experimental weapons.

Metallo looked around for a moment. Superman should have flown over him by now, but he had yet to appear. This puzzled Metallo, and his target was Superman, not a rookie who had just entered the scene.

"Where's Superman? Bring him out!" Metallo had completed his self-repair and fully restored his combat capabilities. He addressed Jericho.

"Clang."

A crisp sound of metal clashing echoed as Jericho drew the Spazium sword from his waist. He gripped the long sword in his right hand, pointing it at Metallo, and his orange V-shaped optical goggles lit up.

"I'm sorry, but Superman is fully booked today. If you want to see him, you'll have to wait for him in prison."

"Then it looks like I'll have to dismantle you to get to your boss."

As he spoke, Metallo's left arm began to spin rapidly, emitting a low hum. Metallo's left arm transformed into a high-speed spiral blade.

Green energy lit up from Metallo's heart and flowed through his energy circulation system, finally reaching the high-speed spiral blade, covering it in a green layer.

Jericho seemed somewhat familiar with that faint green. According to the feedback from his armor scanning system, it seemed to be Kryptonite energy.

Different types of Kryptonite had different effects, and green Kryptonite was the most effective substance against Kryptonians. This mineral from Krypton, the homeworld of Kryptonians, could easily penetrate their skin and cause massive damage.

Many organizations and individuals on Earth used it as a preventive measure against a potential rogue Superman, especially Lex Luthor and Batman, who had the most green Kryptonite.

Although green Kryptonite had no effect on Jericho, the energy contained within the mineral made him cautious.

Jericho covered his Spazium sword with a large number of Spazium particles and controlled its shape with his telekinesis.

"Let's see my new power in action."

Metallo shouted loudly and swung the high-speed spiral blade in his hand. A conical green Kryptonite energy wave surged toward Jericho.

Seeing this, Jericho swung his long sword horizontally, unleashing a crescent-shaped slash formed by numerous Spazium particles, which flew towards the conical green Kryptonite energy wave.

The two collided, and the energy index at the core of the impact soared continuously, eventually resulting in a violent explosion.

The explosion created a powerful shockwave, knocking down those who hadn't yet escaped the venue. But before they could feel the pain, they found themselves outside.

"What's going on?" Jimmy Olsen, who was holding a camera and preparing to fight on the front lines, hadn't figured out what had happened. Clark suddenly patted his shoulder and reassured him, "Jimmy, the battle between Ultraman and Metallo is too intense. It's not a bad thing that we managed to get out."

Looking at Clark, who was dressed neatly, Jimmy Olsen reluctantly put down his camera and muttered, "Maybe safety isn't such a bad thing after all."

"Sometimes it's nice to write headlines about superheroes without risking our lives," Lois said with a faint smile. "I've grown tired of writing about Superman every few years."

"Yeah, Metropolis could use a new hero." Clark looked at the venue even from a distance.

Although they were far away, Clark could still feel the energy of the green Kryptonite inside the venue.

In his memory, Metallo had always used green Kryptonite as an energy source, but he had never seen Metallo employ such advanced technology before.

Who had modified him, and when had he acquired such exceptional technical abilities? Clark wondered.

"Now we can only hope that Superman's sidekick can deal with this guy who used to be Superman's problem."

At this moment, a slightly sarcastic voice came from the side, and Clark and the others turned to see a shining bald head.

"Luthor, you've been saved too?" Lois looked at Lex Luthor with displeasure. "It looks like my new report can add another section: 'Metropolis's new hero saved their billionaire.'"

Facing Lois's hostility, Lex adjusted his slightly wrinkled custom-made suit and calmly said to her, "You're still as clever as ever, Lois. But I'm not in the mood to argue with you right now. I'm more curious about what this 'Ultraman' can really do."
