Chapter 3:It’s Hero Time

Nathan POV

"You sure you don't want to go out and patrol with me, Hunter?"I ask "I'm pretty sure, look I don't even have a costume so I'll just go train." "Ok then see you later dude." I walk out of my house and run towards the nearest alleyway to put on my costume."Huh, this is more comfortable than I thought."

*BOOM*

I turn around to see smoke in the distance "Well staying true to his legacy, It's Hero Time!" I activate my omnitrix and turn into a kineceleran."XLR8!!, That was so cool!! Ok, Nathan geek out later and save lives first."And with that said I rush towards the smoke.

3rd POV

We see a building on fire and with no firefighters in sight the civilians outside we're starting to worry. A child, who was holding his mother's hand in worry felt a gust of wind beside him. Looking in the direction of the wind he sees a humanoid velociraptor on wheels."Hey kid name's XLR8." The velociraptor said. And like any normal boy, he screamed."Whoa whoa whoa chill kid look" XLR8 taps the symbol on his chest, in a flash of green light a human in black and green armor with a green scarf appeared in place of the velociraptor."I'm your friendly neighborhood…ummmm Omni? Yeah, let's go with Omni."

Nathan/Omni POV

"Hey seeing how the firefighters haven't made it yet is there still people in the building?"I asked the kid's mom" Y-yeah I think there's one more" she answered. Okay, get the person to safety first then let the firefighters handle the fire. I activate the omnitrix and transform into" DimondHead!!" I run into the building and try to find the survivor. Is that what you call them? Questions for later. After searching the place a little bit I start hearing light coughing in a room down the hall, running to the noise I see a man who looks to be protecting his daughter? Niece? A little girl, he's protecting a little girl.

"Ok sir I need you to hold on to the girl tightly." I need to get them out of here quickly. I picked the man up while he holds the girl and run towards the window." Hold on tight!!" I yelled as I jumped through the window. Once I land I see the firefighters and paramedics here, I hand the man and child to the medics and revert to my human form. A couple of officers seeing this walk over to ask questions. So I did what I thought best, running away."Sorry I can't answer questions right now see you later." I quickly said turning into XLR8 and blitzing back home. I wonder how's training going for Hunter.

In the middle of nowhere
