COURTNEY SCREAM OUT IN FEAR

Watching Rufus go, when Carlos enters the living room and said, "Mom, I went to visit Pappie today, and no one was there, and since when Pappie and Grandmother started to lock their door?"

"They must have stepped out for a walk Carlos, because Rufus said he had a sandwich at his Grandmother, and how long ago did you visit them?"

"It was, let me see," seeing him thinking then said, "Maybe around four, this afternoon, I am not too sure but this morning, I went about nine, and now I remember, it was after two and Pappie van was park up but there was no one home not even grandmother Companion."

"Carlos, your Dad said your Grandfather took a few days to rest, and they must be resting, and with Mom, in his case, she won't allow anything to disturb his rest.

He was not looking so well for the wedding, that's why he asked your dad to help out Rufus, so leave them alone, haven't you notice how quickly Rufus return, and he was looking so tired himself.

And another thing, Carlos you need to help Rufus, that child is overworked."

Ignoring his mom, Carlos didn't responds to her remark, when Janis said, "Mom, I was thinking, if Courtney was not there Friday and Saturday we would have been stranded."

Wanting to say she was so bossy and disrespectful, but then they will all jump on his case, seeing they were happy with the outcome of their appearance.

"Mom, I want to learn how to attend to nails, helping Courtney with the others to ensure we were organized on time, made me realized that I could do something to help out the family, so I want to check out a school."

When Cynthia replies to her, "Janis, seeing that Courtney was able to instruct you all, we could ask her to teach you all right here, she did such an excellent job for the wedding."

"You know what mom, you are right, I should speak with her; Risha, will you like to join us?"

"Sorry girls, I will relax and observe you all, maybe I will be your client and you can practice on me?"

"Great idea," Janis replies.

Noticing the excitement in Janis to learn, 'Mom, was right, all this time I could have sent them to learn some courses but it never crossed my mind.'

Kimberly hearing her mom approval for Janis said, "Mom, I think I should learn a cake course, seeing how beautiful grandmother did the cake.

It looks awesome, and the way she decorated it, and it's the first time I see a fountain set up with a cake, and gosh it never gets wet, I think I will ask Grandmother to teach me?"

"Sweetheart, I heard your brother said it was Courtney that decorated the cake."

"Oh boy, she is really talented, and mom, Pappie lends her his van to drive, so why is it no one never teaches us to drive?" Kimberly questioned.

Walking through the door, "Hello my beautiful ladies, what are you all plotting? And who is the victim?"

"Can we surprise you Dad?" When Kimberly went and hug him. "Well my Princess, I love surprises, so I will wait, now I am going to wash up for dinner."

Noticing them all stood up and was going to their rooms, hearing them saying, "We will do the same dad."

Rufus sneaking out quietly locking his door, he did not use the van, but walk to the cottage, using his key to enter then call out to her. "Courtney, it is me?"

But no answer came, putting on the light in his Grandparent room, then went and lie down. Thinking, 'Maybe she is sleeping, not wanting to disturb her, but ten minutes later hearing her moving around.

She was praying as she walks through the house waiting, afraid to venture out the room neither disturb her praying.

Looking on by the door as curiosity peaks his interest, then without a second thought asks, "What are you doing?"

Observing how quickly she spins around, "What are you doing here?"

"I came to spend the night, so you could have company and you won't be alone and afraid. At the house, they are only quarreling, so I told them I will spend the night by Grandmother."

For a few minutes, she looked relieved but then she said, "I don't think that's a good idea, I don't want you to touch me."

"I know that, but I don't have any place to stay the night, don't worry I won't hurt you, and tomorrow I will find a place so I won't be a bother."

Watching how sad he was, then close the door, she continue anointing the house then went in the kitchen and sit with Mom's bible and her dinner.

While she read she eat, but the second mouthful she take, this nagging coughing started, causing her to stop and return to her room.

Hearing her screaming, Rufus came out wanting to know what was wrong? Hearing her saying, "It is here, oh God, and it follows you inside. Lord Jesus help me, I am so scared."

Confused, not knowing what to do, she had run into his grandparents room sitting in the middle of the bed, just applying the blood and praying.

Recalling what Martha said, Rufus listen to how she was praying and followed her, with his mind confused Rufus keep thinking, 'How can I fight something I cannot see, what have I done endangering her life?'

Holding her hand, "Don't worry we will pray," hearing her covering herself with the blood of Jesus, doing the same over himself and the room.

As we continue praying, unable to believe his ear, when the mournful and scared cry came causing him to get off the floor and sit next to her on the bed.

Knowing now this evil force is real, and it sounds like a caged animal. Crying out to Jesus to help us from this evil, it doesn't want Courtney alone but his Son, that what Martha said. The more we prayed the more it cried.

Seeing the way Courtney was praying, he follow her but then his body felt so drain as a dose of tiredness consumed his body. Lying next to her holding her hand praying silently.

Opening his eyes feeling her movement, 'Oh boy have I dose off, and what is the time now?'
