Chapter 4: Trying To Leave
Lily ate dinner and went back to the cabin pretending to be asleep waiting until everyone was sleep. She grabbed her bag and went out the cabin heading towards the woods, she knew all the weak spots its a habit she has. She must know all the ways in and out of a place. The water nymphs or guards gaps and time when it would be safe for her she was about to go when someone laid a hand on her shoulder.
Lily turned around to find Alex, Rys, and Evan that's when Alex said, "what are you doing" Lily shrugged and said, "I'm leaving I have things I must do" Alex frowned and so did the others then Evan spoke up saying, "it not save out there and what things also how do you know the weak spots" Llily shrugged and went to walk away when Rys stoped her. He said, "if your leaving we're coming with you" Lily really didn't like the sound of that she didn't trusted them well... she did a little when it came to Alex.
Lily stilled and shook her head fermly while saying, "I'm sorry but no, no way in hell I do better on my own and I like it that way" Alex finally said, "you don't trust us I get that but if you don't let us come then we're not letting you go and if you go then we'll just follow you so..." Lily signed then looked at her watch they less then two minutes she said, "fine we have two minutes before they come back once your passed the border run like hell" the others nodded and Lily took off.
The others followed her, they made it passed the border and like Lily said they ran like hell. It was a good thing too cause a few hundred meters out the water nymphs saw them and threw a fit one ran back towards the cabins and the others watched us flee not daring to go passed the border even in the slightest.
Then Lily turned around with one last glance and saw her brothers all five standing at the border and suddenly Lily picked up speed. She spent her life running she was good at it and it made her proud. Suddenly Evan was beside her and called out, "race ya" Lily smriked knowing she wasn't even trying her hardest. She nodded telling him it on he smirked and picked up pace Lily on the other hand slowed down. She felt bad for cutting him in her out burst of rage so she simply let him win letting him regain some of his wounded ego. For what ever they were going, he would need it.
Alex knew Lily let Evan win but didn't say anything just matched her pace with Lily's grabbing her hand and stopped her. Alex could have kept going but seeing Evan and Rys they looked a little breathless so Alex wispered to Lily and said, "I think we're far enough for now please lets stop and also its night time we have no clue what's in theses woods" Alex knew exactly what was in theses woods she didn't want to scare Lily but Lily already looked shaken so Alex asked, "hey Lily what's wrong" Lily shook her head and masked her self off showing no emotions but the ones in her eyes that show unwilling. Alex saw fear, saddness, but the strongest one of them all was abandonment.
Lily was afraid of being abandoned that's why she didn't want them to come because if she was alone then she couldn't be abandoned. Alex signed and said, "I say we should walk a little more then make camp and wait until morning to continue moving they won't come after us until morning anyway especially your brothers Lily they will be hunting for you like non- stop" Lily nodded. They walked for probably two or three hours then set up camp and made a small fire. Everyone but Lily and Alex were asleep, Alex looked at Lily and knew why she wouldn't sleep. Alex said, "Lily you can sleep we won't leave you I promise" Lily opened her mouth but shut it again and nodded she laid down and her eyes fluttered close.
